00:15Today, we're going to do an undercover purchase of GHB.
00:18We know the drugs originate from Southeast Asia.
00:21What we hope to do is identify other people that are involved
00:24and how the drugs are actually ending up in St. Louis.
00:35What we normally see GHB associated with is date rape,
00:40sexual assault cases, human trafficking cases.
00:43So it's of interest just because of the negative impacts
00:48that surround the use of it.
00:51We already have cover in place.
00:53We already have our pre-surveillance units already in place.
00:55What will happen is, are you seeing the undercover?
00:58He'll be making positive contact and conducting a transaction.
01:07Target's three.
01:09UCB's curbed.
01:11Looks like the UC's parking his vehicle
01:14directly across from target location.
01:18UCB's out of the vehicle.
01:19Rescue team on standby.
01:21All right, I'm going to turn on the wire.
01:23We've got to ensure the safety of the UC.
01:26There's a possibility he could be robbed.
01:2810-4.
01:30The UC's walking towards the front of the target address.
01:34Get ready.
01:46It's like he's entering the front right now,
01:48talking to somebody in the doorway.
01:51It might be the target right now.
01:54All right.
01:55Friendly is going upstairs.
01:5710-4.
01:58A lot of these deals, a lot of the hand-to-hand deals,
02:01aren't necessarily done in a public location.
02:04Nowadays, with technology and everyone with cameras,
02:07what we're seeing more and more is it's a common practice
02:10that they're going to do it within the private confines
02:14of a residence or places that aren't easily accessible
02:18by the public.
02:19Unfortunately, this is always a challenge, though, for us
02:22because we've got to ensure really the priority
02:25of the safety of the UC when conducting
02:28these illegal transactions.
02:32Deal's done.
02:33We just got a text from our friendly...
02:37Looks like he's coming out.
02:39Walking back towards UCB.
02:42From the quick text that he sent me, we're done here.
02:46It sounds like the target was talking about another shipment
02:48coming in from what he claimed to be Malaysia,
02:50which is consistent with our intel we got prior to doing
02:54buys out of the house, which is good.
02:56So it looks like the friendly is away,
02:59and we're going to start heading back to our staging location
03:02to debrief and process the evidence.
03:07Right now, we don't plan on doing any type of an arrest.
03:10What we're trying to do is build up a probable cause
03:13that we need for a search warrant.
03:15We'll be submitting all the evidence
03:17to the U.S. Attorney's Office for review,
03:19and hopefully it'll meet all the criteria that they need
03:22for pushing it further for indictments and warrants later.
03:48We got something over here?
03:50Find it?
03:53Phillip here is an agriculture detector dog.
03:57We work with the Beagle Brigade.
03:59Good boy.
04:00Let's get going.
04:09Oh, let's go up here.
04:11These dogs are trained to find fresh fruits and vegetables,
04:15meats, plants, seeds, and soil.
04:18Hi, ma'am.
04:19Do you have any food in your handbag here?
04:21How about this?
04:22Okay.
04:23Oh, you have some flowers?
04:24Yes.
04:24All right.
04:25So we just need to inspect these
04:26to make sure that they don't have any insects hitchhiking in them.
04:30If an insect pest or plant disease were to get in the U.S.,
04:34that would have a major, major impact on our agriculture here.
04:40Yeah, no, it looks fine.
04:42Good work, Phil.
04:53One of the main reasons that we use Beagles
04:55is because they're food-motivated,
04:58and food is the main thing
04:59that we're trying to get them to find.
05:03Hey, ma'am.
05:04Do you have any food in this bag?
05:07We have the apple before I leave at this start.
05:10Okay.
05:10Yeah, he just still smells it.
05:13Dogs have this incredible,
05:18olfactory sense.
05:20Phil, what's up?
05:23All right.
05:24I'm not following anybody into the men's room.
05:26Come on.
05:26He can even differentiate the odor coming through each nostril.
05:31So if it's coming from the right,
05:34he can tell that he's getting more odor from his right nostril,
05:38so he knows to turn right.
05:41Come on, Phil.
05:42This way.
05:45Where you and I might smell a pot of chili,
05:48they can smell each individual type of bean.
05:51They can smell the meat separately.
05:53They can smell each individual spice that you put in there.
05:58All right, buddy.
05:59Let's go.
06:00Hey.
06:01Find it.
06:02Where you coming in from?
06:04Pakistan.
06:05All right, brother.
06:09All right, sir.
06:09I need that passport real quick, okay?
06:12You traveling by yourself?
06:13Yeah.
06:14What kind of food items are in your bag?
06:16A lot of dry fruit.
06:18A lot of dry fruit?
06:19Any fresh fruit?
06:20No.
06:20All right.
06:21Come on over here.
06:27Which one has the food?
06:28That's the one I want to look at.
06:34Oh, my goodness.
06:35What we got in here?
06:38We got a lot of goodies in here, man.
06:40Yeah.
06:41This is a fine nut.
06:44Yes, sir.
06:47I need you to open that real quick.
06:50Look, right here.
06:52Did you forget about that?
06:55You did.
06:56You can pull it out.
06:58Yeah.
06:59Let me borrow that.
07:01Good boy.
07:02All right.
07:02I got some friends that want to talk to you today, okay?
07:06Good job.
07:07All right, sir.
07:08Come on down here.
07:11Good boy.
07:13Ha, ha.
07:15When he was sitting there, he kept nose in the backpack,
07:19and there was an apple in there.
07:21So, he's going to go to secondary.
07:23They're going to inspect the food.
07:25From what I've seen, everything in that bag there should be okay,
07:28but that's what the ag specialists do.
07:31They'll make that determination.
07:33We're going to go in this door here.
07:39Go to leather A for me.
07:43They're going to take care of you, sir, okay?
07:44Have a good day.
07:46All right.
07:47You ready to do some more fishing?
07:50Go down here.
08:10Good afternoon.
08:11How are you?
08:12I'm good, good.
08:13All right.
08:13Passport, go for it.
08:14Yeah, yeah.
08:16We're out here pre-primary before the car reaches the booth.
08:20Primarily, we're looking for narcotics trafficking and human smuggling.
08:24Where are you headed today?
08:26I'm going right here to shop in the Plaza America.
08:27Okay.
08:39I've been working at this port for about six years now,
08:41and every day there's drugs coming through a lot.
08:45There's a lot of drugs on the streets,
08:46and I've seen the impact it makes on the community.
08:49So we work as a team and try to get the job done.
08:57Have a good day.
09:00I can't put it in part for me and unlock the door.
09:05Any type of person, any type of vehicle, it could be loaded.
09:10Open the back.
09:14There's so many layers here that you could find a package or load.
09:21Good job, buddy.
09:22Let's go.
09:22From pre-primary officers, if they miss it, the primary officer can find it.
09:26If it just takes a little hand, you might send it in to secondary inspection,
09:31and an officer there can find it.
09:40It's the speaker.
09:42Yeah, but the speaker looks empty.
09:44Yes.
09:44All right.
09:45I'll go check it out.
09:48Yeah, it's super heavy.
09:50If we would have saw something on the x-ray image, we would have definitely took it apart.
09:55Everything looks good right here.
09:58Everything looks good right here.
10:04Let's go.
10:04Turn your hat back on.
10:08Because you're crossing the international border.
10:12That is the reason.
10:14All right.
10:15Follow me.
10:17So I saw a male driving through the middle lanes of vehicle primary.
10:20I asked him a few questions, asked him where he was going.
10:23He was being begged.
10:25So we're going to x-ray the vehicle.
10:33I'm going to check the results of the x-ray.
10:36I'm looking for it, and I don't see it.
10:38The black Jetta?
10:40I walked it in.
10:40He drove through the Z portal.
10:43Yeah, but he didn't wait for the green light.
10:45Okay, he didn't wait for it, so it didn't read it then?
10:48Well, I have to.
10:49All right.
10:50I might need you to back me up on this one, bro.
10:51Of course.
10:52He was acting non-compliant.
10:54He tried to rush Z portal.
10:56Usually when they try to rush, the vehicle is loaded with contraband.
11:01So I decided to do a more intensive inspection.
11:08No weapons, right?
11:10All right, go ahead and stand over there.
11:13Go ahead and stand on the other side.
11:14of the table.
11:18I'm trying to do my job, man.
11:19Let me have you stand over there real quick.
11:21Do you mind handling it?
11:36What's up?
11:38Maybe.
11:41Hurry up.
11:49I'm not giving this back to you.
11:51I'm not giving this back to you.
11:51Why?
11:52It's nicotine and CBD.
11:54Okay.
11:55You got .
11:56Yeah, bait of some sort.
11:58I'm not sure what it is.
12:00You look like a .
12:01What was that?
12:04We're not playing.
12:05I know he's trying to hold me up .
12:07, .
12:08What's up?
12:09He didn't talk-
12:10The .
12:12Put your hands there idea back.
12:13Put your hands there I'm playing.
12:14Don't close it, bubbly.
12:15But we need you to bring in الخ.
12:16Put your hands there again, bruh.
12:32He's been combating with me, so, you know, we can only take so much.
12:37I had to place him in handcuffs and bring him to the security office for a pat-down
12:41and conduct a further examination of the vehicle
12:45and make sure there's no illegal contraband.
12:53The tank there has a plastic cover on it.
12:56It might be tampered with.
12:58They're going to take it through and x-ray it.
13:02The vehicle wasn't Z-Portal, so at this time,
13:04we're still in the process of running it through the x-ray machine.
13:14How does the tank look?
13:23I'm looking at the gas tank.
13:24I see anomalies.
13:25Okay.
13:27I've got to take a double take on it and verify this, what's going on.
13:30Thanks, bro.
13:30No problem.
13:31Sure.
13:32K-9's going to run it.
13:52K-9 turned up negative.
13:57The vehicle is clear.
13:59He'll be released.
14:01And it will be a penalty for obstructing a federal inspection, which he was doing.
14:16Sometimes you deal with that.
14:17This is a stand-in-seat report of entry.
14:18And we deal with nonsense people all the time.
14:40This GHB right now, based on the investigation, what they're doing is it originated from Malaysia.
14:47They're bringing it in through international mail.
14:49And to avoid the detection, they're putting it in lotion bottles.
14:58So, this is called a Gemini.
15:00It's a thorough scientific research drug tester.
15:02It's a database that's inside that reads, you know, thousands of substances.
15:07The laser is able to read the substances when we head to here and actually gets to analyze it without
15:14us having to get danger close to the substances.
15:17We have a good idea of what we're dealing with, but you never know for sure.
15:29And as I read, GHB.
15:37We're weighing that bottle and go ahead and process and seize that as evidence.
15:50The investigation so far has gone extremely well.
15:53We're very happy with where we're at.
15:55And what we hope to use is all the evidence from the undercover buys that we've done to get the
16:00probable cause to do a search warrant.
16:03Our first goal is take this guy down, identify his connection to Malaysia and how he's getting that.
16:10And can we shut that pipeline down?
16:21We're going to say Amsterdam.
16:29All right, Amsterdam's good.
16:30Maybe we'll get some tulip bulbs today.
16:33Here.
16:38My absolute favorite part of the Beagle Brigade is that all of our dogs are rescues.
16:43My partner, Phillip, the paper trail I've been able to piece together, start at a kill shelter in Tennessee.
16:51And USDA found him.
16:53And they trained him for this job.
16:55And about six months later, he and I hooked up together.
16:57And it's been magic ever since.
17:00Right, Phil?
17:02High five.
17:04Good job.
17:14Find it.
17:19What's up, Phil?
17:22Hi, ma'am.
17:23Do you have any food in this bag?
17:25Uh, chocolate?
17:27All right.
17:28Did you have any fruit in here earlier today?
17:30I did.
17:31I had a meanderin orange.
17:32Okay.
17:3312 hours ago.
17:34Okay.
17:34You're welcome to look.
17:34No, that's fine.
17:35Yeah.
17:36No, you're good.
17:37Good job, Phil.
17:39With these dogs here, although we do love on them, we do have to remember that they're not pets.
17:45They're working dogs and they have a job to do and they need to get it done.
17:51On a technical shift, Phillip will search between 800 and 1,500 bags.
18:00All right.
18:00Good boy.
18:02Without him, my job would be so much harder.
18:04Come on.
18:06Vienna's on 18, so what's on 19?
18:09Oh, maybe Mexico City.
18:13All right.
18:14Good boy.
18:15Come on.
18:16Let's check out these Mexico City bags, Phil.
18:19From Mexico.
18:20We're worried about insect pests.
18:22We're worried about plant diseases.
18:24We're worried about livestock diseases.
18:26Here.
18:27Find it.
18:29There's something over here.
18:34What do you think?
18:37All right.
18:39This one, you think it's...
18:41Oh, my God.
18:44I'm not trying to lift that.
18:46That is the heaviest bag I have seen in a long time.
18:49All right.
18:50Let's see what we got.
18:54Clothes.
18:58This is tortillas wrapped up.
19:00Oh, there.
19:01Is that what you found?
19:02Oh, my God.
19:03That is a lot.
19:05That is a lot of meat.
19:11Good job.
19:15Good.
19:16That is a lot of meat.
19:19When I picked this thing up, this bag's probably about 50 pounds.
19:24So I knew there was definitely something in it.
19:27What's this?
19:30Well, this looks like a bunch of fruit.
19:32It looks like maybe gooseberries.
19:37This bag's coming from Mexico City.
19:40And I happen to know that beef and ruminant meat is actually allowed to come in from Mexico.
19:47So if it was just this, we probably would have just made a note, cut it loose.
19:52But with the fresh fruit, it's a good boy.
19:56It definitely needs to go in a secondary to get checked out.
19:59Good job.
20:00All right.
20:05One, two, three.
20:11Yeah.
20:13All right.
20:14I'm giving the baggage information to the airline so they can locate the passenger.
20:20Come here, Phil.
20:22I'm borrowing your cart, so I'll take it to secondary.
20:25If you could just bring the passenger when they show up.
20:28All right.
20:30Secondary is where our unaccompanied bags go until we can find the passenger.
20:36Let's go secure this thing.
20:48Hi.
20:49Thank you guys for being here today.
20:50This is a residential search warrant for GHB, commonly known as a date rate being imported
20:56into the U.S. through Southeast Asia.
21:06We've conducted numerous buy walks under this residence, identified multiple targets that
21:13are dealing this throughout the St. Louis metro area.
21:16So hoping to seize GHB, money, and any other incriminating evidence of their narcotics entity
21:23here in St. Louis.
21:25Anybody have any questions swap-wise?
21:27Anybody have any for HSI?
21:30Hi.
21:30Thank you guys.
21:34We're going to be executing a search warrant.
21:36That search warrant's going to be the finality of everything, what it's all led up to with
21:40all the undercover buys that we've done.
21:44We already have pre-surveillance that was already set up on the target residence just
21:50so we could give real-time information to the SWAT team that's going to be hitting it.
21:54And then when they go ahead and execute the search warrant on the premises, once they're
21:58done clearing everything, then we'll basically kind of go in and start our systematic search
22:03of the residence.
22:05GHB is an extremely intoxicating drug that can totally incapacitate somebody against their
22:12will.
22:12So it's important to stop the import into America.
22:16This is what we've been working for.
22:18And it can go a couple different ways.
22:20We can take these targets into custody and they might want to cooperate and help us further
22:26expand our case because at the end of the day, our goal is transnational and international
22:30crime.
22:32Any time that we're doing any type of an op, there's always those pre-jitters and you just
22:38kind of have the butterflies.
22:40Obviously, this isn't a game.
22:42You have people whose lives are on the line.
22:44And so you have the confidence in your guys.
22:47You have the confidence in the team.
22:49But there's always just those unexpected unknowns that can occur.
22:52And that's what always makes me nervous.
22:54You're not in control of what they're going to do.
22:57And it's kind of that hope for the best, but you're always prepared for the worst.
23:12Come on, buddy.
23:12Let's go.
23:15Highly motivated.
23:24Hey, put your car in parking.
23:25Open the back, please.
23:29He's trained on ecstasy, marijuana, meth, heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, and concealed humans.
23:39The quarter panels feel kind of hard on both sides.
23:43So I'm going to call for a buster from AT-SET, lane 25.
23:51All AT-SET members have this density tool that we use to check any parts of the vehicle.
23:58We're getting narcotics behind the speaker.
24:04We're broken.
24:05If you're good with it, I'm good.
24:06Man.
24:08Let's go.
24:33The dog's hitting.
24:37He started breathing really hard, and then he stops moving.
24:41So that's when I know something is there.
24:43We're going to send it to secondary for it to go through the Z-Portal and see if we got
24:47anything in there.
24:49Good boy.
24:51Good boy.
24:59So right here, this is a Z-Portal machine that's giving us an x-ray image of vehicles.
25:05And basically, we're just looking for anomalies.
25:10Vehicles have a lot of empty buoys, doors, quarter panels, fenders, bumpers, tires.
25:19So anything you can think of that's dense, that should be empty.
25:24We're making sure that there's nothing there.
25:27You find anything on the vehicle?
25:29Yeah.
25:30On the doors, all sides.
25:33And then there's some on the roof, too?
25:34Yeah, rear end on the rooftop.
25:38All right.
25:39Good night.
25:40We can go look now and do the seven-point inspection to see if we can find it.
25:47This car looks like it hasn't been tampered with at all.
25:50No fingerprints.
25:51No one's gone in there and done anything.
25:55Just checking the area right here.
25:57Hopefully, we find something.
26:01It looks like there's nothing in here.
26:07There's some tampering right here.
26:09Yeah, there's a cut right here.
26:15Oh, yeah, we got packages here.
26:29We're just drawing proof of how the car looks before we start taking it apart.
26:38Let me get some gloves.
26:42Let's see how many we got.
26:45There's some kind of powder.
26:46That looks like a larger surgeon inside of the plastic bag.
26:49They have precursors to hide the smell for dogs.
26:53There's a vacuum seal.
26:54And then it's got electric tape around with a label on the actual narcotic.
26:58I'm sure it's for different people that they're sending it to.
27:02These packages, usually, when most of them are the same, it's going to be the same type of drug.
27:07The important thing is we don't miss any in here.
27:15It doesn't look like there's any more in this area.
27:29It doesn't matter how much damage we have to do if we're trying to find something.
27:35Sometimes you can find stuff in here.
27:52It looks pretty empty right now.
27:54They use factory compartments and non-factory compartments.
27:58I've seen stuff inside the dash, under the vehicle, everything.
28:04Yeah, from right here, it looks negative, too.
28:11That looks empty.
28:24Oh, yeah, they're there.
28:30It looks like they're all powder.
28:32Same kind of package, same label.
28:35It can be cocaine, fentanyl.
28:38But we'd have to test it to make sure.
28:53This is yours?
28:54Okay.
28:55Hi.
28:57Do you have any more bags or just this one?
29:00It's four.
29:01It's four bags?
29:02Okay.
29:03I'm going to go get these other bags.
29:07Phillip found her one bag that had the meat and the fruit.
29:13Coming from Mexico City, there's usually a lot of food.
29:16So we're just going to check these other bags that she has to make sure that there's no additional
29:21food items that might be prohibited.
29:25All right, so we got four bags.
29:34Here, I'll take that.
29:38On three.
29:39One, two, three.
29:40All right.
29:47We're going to go ahead and put them up on the belt.
29:49All right.
29:50All right, ma'am.
29:51Come on over.
29:52This one's really heavy.
29:53Okay, I'll have you.
29:54Okay.
29:55You want to grab that side?
29:57All right.
29:58And then if you just want to come around to the back.
30:06I see there's definitely additional fruit in the other three bags as well.
30:12I have a dog that searches for fruits and meats, and he found the ones in here, but I
30:18see you have more in these other bags.
30:21So coming from Mexico, right?
30:23Yes.
30:24Is this beef meat?
30:25Oh, yes.
30:26This is beef?
30:27Okay.
30:27All right.
30:28So beef is okay for Mexico.
30:29So you can have that one, but fresh fruits are not allowed.
30:33So these ones will have to stay.
30:35Okay.
30:36And there's more, they're like melon or something.
30:39It's like a big fruit.
30:41Oh, it's pumpkin.
30:44I'm always bringing pumpkin.
30:46Oh, pumpkin.
30:46Yes.
30:47Okay.
30:48I love the pumpkin as well.
30:49Okay.
30:50Yeah, you can't bring that.
30:51That's not allowed.
30:52You can't.
30:52Oh, my gosh.
30:55Yeah.
30:56You can't bring these in.
30:58I'm always bringing that.
30:59I'm going to have a problem with it, though.
31:01I think too much money for this.
31:03All right.
31:03Well, they're going to check it, okay?
31:15It's like, we're the...
31:17It's that house where those two, um...
31:19The flags are at.
31:27Looks like target vehicle is there.
31:29It's going to be a red Mercedes two-door coupe.
31:32Hey, just FYI, SWAT's going to be about two mics out.
31:36Two mics out for everyone on HSI team.
31:39We're just setting up all of our unmarked vehicles, kind of doing a perimeter.
31:43We got different areas kind of covered, and so we're just waiting for SWAT to hit it.
31:47They're going to do their clearing.
31:49They'll do the security suite, and then start our systematic search of that house.
31:53We're moving up and down by.
31:56Go 10, go 10.
31:57First truck.
32:01Let's go.
32:02Go, go, go.
32:03Let's go.
32:06Please, my guard!
32:08Please, my guard!
32:10Okay, now, please, cover it up.
32:12Please, my guard!
32:14Let's go!
32:15Let's go!
32:15They did deploy a flashbang.
32:18Get ready for it.
32:20Please, my guard!
32:21Get on the ground!
32:24Please, my guard!
32:26Please, my guard!
32:37Let me see your hands!
32:38Step towards me!
32:39Do it now!
32:42Are you open, man?
32:43Yeah, well...
32:44Open your hands!
32:45Hey, hands, hands!
32:46Put them up!
32:49Once they're clear, we'll go ahead and start our search.
32:54We took two people into custody.
32:56They're believed to be the only two inside the residence right now.
32:59However, just to be safe and do our due diligence, SWAT's been clear at the house, do secondaries,
33:05and once they deem it secure, then they're going to turn it over for us, searching.
33:09I mean, the whole entire residence looking for any type of contraband or evidence of illicit narcotic sales.
33:17Nothing.
33:18Okay, we're clear!
33:20There's nobody in there.
33:21There's nobody in there.
33:22That's good.
33:22Perfect.
33:24I'm assuming there's probably some stuff underneath their bed because of the way it's built.
33:27Okay.
33:27So, it looked like there was a pretty big cavity underneath the slat.
33:30All right.
33:31And you said there's a safe in the bedroom as well?
33:34There might be.
33:34I didn't go into the bedroom.
33:35Okay.
33:35I just kind of sit outside of it.
33:37Gotcha.
33:38Let's do a walk-through and see what we got, and then you want to label it?
33:41Okay.
33:43We have two different interview teams right now talking to the arrestees to try to get
33:50any more information out of them to see if we can further this investigation than just
33:55this cert.
33:55So, hopefully, we can expand to not just this house, but to try to make it go international.
34:05Bring it through here.
34:07Yeah, we need the help, period.
34:14So, these are all the items that we seized from the house.
34:17So, quite a bit.
34:17So, now after we seized it here, now we're going to go back to the office and start the
34:22process, go through it, get it into our evidence system for tracking and accountability
34:28purposes.
34:28So, all in all, it went well.
34:44And then there's one in here.
34:49This is like a melon.
34:51Oh, it looks like maybe honeydew.
34:52That is pumpkin too, but it's white.
34:55Okay.
34:56That's also pumpkin?
34:57Yes.
34:57Okay.
34:59Do you have the manual open?
35:01Pumpkin?
35:02Pumpkin from Mexico?
35:03Yeah.
35:04We're just checking out what the regulation actually says.
35:07Just because they brought it in before doesn't mean that it's allowed.
35:10Sometimes there's a new pest that's found that affects that kind of fruit or there's a new
35:16plant disease that breaks out.
35:18It's not super common to see people carrying whole pumpkins, but her daughter really likes
35:25pumpkin.
35:26And she said these were special varieties that she hasn't been able to easily find here
35:30in the United States.
35:31Yeah.
35:32I put pumpkin in it.
35:33Isn't it?
35:33Yeah.
35:34It says no pumpkin.
35:35Yeah.
35:36Permit required.
35:39We checked our manuals.
35:40It says these are not allowed anymore.
35:43Even if they were allowed before, now it says no.
35:46Okay.
35:46So I'm sorry about that.
35:48It's okay.
35:49Next time I'm gonna bring it.
35:50Yeah.
35:50We've got lots of good pumpkins here too.
35:52I know.
35:53I know.
35:54It's a special kind.
35:55Yeah.
35:56But at least you get to keep the beef.
35:59Yeah.
36:00That's the more expensive one, right?
36:02Yes.
36:03All right.
36:04There we go.
36:05All right.
36:06Thank you so much.
36:07All right.
36:08You're welcome.
36:09So just go out here and make a right.
36:11All right?
36:12Have a good day.
36:13Bye.
36:14There was no fine associated with this.
36:16She did declare it.
36:17Had it been the case where Phillip found it and we brought her in and she didn't declare
36:22it, she might have received a civil penalty.
36:24But in this case, she was upfront with us about it.
36:27Phillip did good.
36:29I'm proud of that boy.
36:34All right.
36:36This side.
36:37Come on.
36:38Phillip is seven and a half years old and we start evaluating them for retirement between
36:44age eight and ten.
36:45So once he retires, he's coming home with me and my daughter has already volunteered to teach
36:52him how to be a pet.
36:53All right, bud.
36:54We're going to call it for the day.
36:56I'll do the paperwork today.
36:57But you got it tomorrow, okay?
37:11That's eight.
37:14That'll be it.
37:15Look at this door.
37:18Eight.
37:19Passenger side, rear.
37:23Now it goes to do the same thing again on the passenger door in front.
37:29The quarter panels have always been a hot trend.
37:32The roof is something more rare.
37:34They change it up and then we find new things and then they change it back to the way it
37:38used
37:38to be.
37:39That's it.
37:40Woo!
37:41So there's six in the door.
37:44Oh!
37:45Two more doors to go.
37:48Yeah.
37:53There's more computers in this one.
37:55This is just bolted in right here.
38:00Ah, there's nothing in here.
38:02So a lot of times they won't put the drugs in the driver's side door because when we're
38:06doing our inspection on primary, that's the first place we look is right in front of us.
38:11The last one.
38:21You can see the packages right away.
38:23Same kind as the rest of the vehicle.
38:26Trying to get these last couple out.
38:32Looks like all of them.
38:33It doesn't feel like there's any more.
38:35This, they cut it out right here.
38:37You can tell by the cuts.
38:38And that's how they place them in.
38:41One, two, three, four.
38:44Right now, like, the drugs are most important to get them tested and call the agent.
38:49And then we can inspect the rest of the vehicle because at this point, we feel like there's
38:52nothing else, but we'll double check just to make sure every spot is empty.
39:07We're going to do a narcotics test kit just to get a positive result to be able to contact the
39:10agent and get the case rolling.
39:13I'll test for a cocaine version.
39:20I'm just going to get some of it out of here.
39:22You don't need too much, but just a little bit to make sure.
39:27Close this up.
39:29And we're going to seal it.
39:32If it's cocaine, it'll be blue on the bottom and pink on the top.
39:35So what we're going to do is break the ampule, get the drugs in there really good, break the ampule,
39:41and then kind of irritate it.
39:45Cocaine.
39:46It shows it's positive for cocaine.
39:48I'm going to go weigh it now.
39:53The last one.
40:09After this, we put them in boxes.
40:11We sent them into our narcotics vault.
40:13After the case is over, they'll end up destroying all the narcotics.
40:18We contacted HSI.
40:20They're on their way over here to interview the subjects.
40:22It was a real big team effort from the canine officer to the AT set crew.
40:28And then coming to the secondary lot, the x-ray operator.
40:31Everybody made it happen today.
40:35I'll be the last one.
40:42That was a really unique load that we got today.
40:45The cartel definitely doesn't like it when we get the cocaine.
40:47It's the most expensive drug.
40:49And whoever is waiting for this package is probably going to be really upset.
41:17The fun part's all done.
41:19Everything, we already feel tested on scene.
41:20And so now it's just processing, doing the paperwork, cleaning it up, and on to the next one.
41:34This was the first thing that we noticed was these, both of these have the GHB, and then there was
41:41two boxes.
41:42And then I cut open the boxes, and each box was in the mylar.
41:45We crack those open, and surprise.
41:50When we've done our undercover operations in the past, we've yielded bottles like this,
41:54which we knew that they were smuggling them into the country.
41:57These are all unsealed.
41:59We did a systematic search of the residents.
42:01We found a lot of evidence in the bedroom, and the bulk amounts of GHB were located in the office.
42:08And when we talk about the bulk amounts, we're talking full bottles ready to be pieced out and distributed in
42:14smaller amounts.
42:15What it just shows is they got a lot of GHB.
42:17This isn't just something that they're just doing on the side as a hobby or anything like that.
42:22They're doing this to distribute.
42:33And then just in the same location of the GHB was the revolver there.
42:39I think that's a .357.
42:42And then we found a whole bunch of meth in different areas,
42:47stuff that was already individually packaged like they were going to sell it,
42:50and then we found some larger stuff.
43:01The suspects were already interviewed right when we were doing the search.
43:05These two individuals were a large source of supply for this.
43:08It looks like that we're going to just kind of collect all that evidence,
43:11put it in a nice package for the U.S. attorney, and then submit that for review for them,
43:16and hopefully we'll be coming down with indictments on those individuals.
43:31We've never really encountered that much GHB.
43:34And so to see that much that we seized today, it makes you sit there and really think,
43:39how many people were being maybe victimized by this?
43:43And so what I'm proud of the guys on really is that we absolutely put a big dent in the
43:48flow of the drugs,
43:50especially GHB, coming into and being distributed in the city of St. Louis.
43:54What did you do?
43:56You are the only one.
44:05Thanks, Jess.
