Middle East: IRGC launches 85th wave of retaliatory operation 'True Promise 4' against Israeli, U.S. targets

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps of Iran (IRGC) launched the 85th wave of operation 'True Promise 4' in retaliation for the unprovoked joint U.S.-Israeli attacks on the Persian nation. In a statement released on Saturday, the IRGC reported that the launch resulted in the downing of a US MQ-9 strategic drone unit over Shiraz also hitting an F-16 fighter jet. The Guard's navy and aerospace force personnel carried out successive barrages of missile and drone attacks, also targeting several Israeli heavy industries facilities. In addition, the operation reportedly thwarted an attempt by the Israeli-U.S. air force to attack the base from which the missile barrage was launched. The military action is another instance of the Iranian defense against the ongoing Zionist-U.S. aggression.
