00:39But all the time that we've looked at both Derek Queen
00:42and also Jeremiah Veers, we've said,
00:44you know, the game's eventually going to slow down for them.
00:47And we're seeing that with both players.
00:48Derek really had a solid game last night.
00:50Jeremiah, little by little,
00:52and he was taken out of the starting lineup,
00:53he's embraced his role to the point where
00:55he is super consistent now as well.
00:58Right, and the improvement for me
00:59that I've seen with Jeremiah,
01:01when he came in to this league,
01:03he came in with a ton of speed.
01:05Right, we know that.
01:06The improvement that I've seen
01:07has been in the decision-making.
01:09Right.
01:09That's the biggest thing.
01:10So everybody has a different kind of definition
01:14of what it means to get to it.

01:16How do I get to it?
01:18How do I make an impact on the game?
01:19This is all last night.

01:21These are the different reads
01:22that Jeremiah was not making early in the year.

01:40And this is the biggest growth,
01:42like, area of growth
01:44that I've seen out of Jeremiah.

01:48But it's about improvement.
01:50And that is what we're seeing out of Jeremiah
01:53as far as rim reads are concerned.

01:59he's not rushing anything he does.
02:01He's got the speed already.
02:02He can beat anybody to the rack.
02:04We've seen that before.
02:05But he's making everybody around him
02:07a little bit better, isn't he?

02:09and it only came about three and a half,
02:10four weeks ago,
02:11it was in the Big Easy.
02:13And it was a win for the Pels.
02:14So the Pels get the best of them.
02:16But at the same time,
02:18a buddy of ours scored 22 points
02:20to lead the Raptors.
02:20In fact, he's led them more than anybody else
02:23this season in scoring,
02:24Brandon Ingram.
02:25And I can tell you,
02:26this is what I know.
02:27From that three and a half week ago game
02:29that you're referencing, Joe,
02:31Brandon Ingram wasn't happy after the game.
02:32He loved the reception of coming back
02:35and the amount of love that he received
02:37from the New Orleans Pelicans community
02:39and fan base.
02:40And it was warranted and deserved.
02:41I'm talking about the way he played, though.

02:46and really struggled in particular
02:48in that fourth quarter.
02:49So you best believe him being at home tonight
02:53against his old team,
02:54he is going to come out extremely aggressive.

02:59he said he wanted to bust some,

03:02after that game in New Orleans.
