00:26This time of season right now, I mean, I can tell.
00:28Well, the summer's gone. We're well into the fall, and we have no time for delays anymore.
00:33Four months into the season, Rick Ness is deep in the hole.
00:40I mean, at the moment, we're not even at 500 ounces yet, so we can't afford to be wasting any
00:44more time.
00:46If we don't see some gold soon, there's no way we're going to hit our 1,800 ounces.
00:51Just seven weeks remain in the mining season.
00:55Rick's now spent a million dollars moving a mountain in his Valhalla cut, and he's finally close to hitting the
01:03pay layer.
01:04This whole Valhalla cut here, you know, it's huge.
01:07It's probably the biggest project I've ever taken on up here, and, you know, it's really starting to eat at
01:11me a bit.
01:12If things don't go exactly as they have to go, then I'm broken. Done.
01:17Bailey's got a lot done in the cut. I mean, he's doing a hell of a job down there.
01:20It's looking like any day, we're going to be a town to pay, and we need to get to see
01:24some quick.
01:25We need to see some gold.
01:26The guys are with me on it, I know that, and they've been working their asses off, and that's just
01:30what we're going to stick with,
01:31because if Valhalla pays off, it could be the best decision I've ever made.
01:39Hey, Rick, you got a copy?
01:41Go for Rick.
01:42You can come down to the cut.
01:55Oh, boy.
01:56Well, buddy, I've got some honest opinions.
02:00From there, you can see how it dives right there.
02:03That's the slope, and then it continues there.
02:05But everything from, like, that edge, I dug 25 more feet down,
02:10as far as that thing can go down, and it was just still pure clay.
02:15What do you mean?
02:17No pay.
02:21Rick believes an ancient, dried-out riverbed,
02:25filled with coarse gold,
02:27runs across four miles of his Duncan Creek claims.
02:31The 50-foot pay street is proven to run under Raleigh Valley and then downstream to Vegas Valley.
02:40Rick assumed this pay layer would be at the same 150-foot depth in Valhalla.
02:46But after digging down for over a month, instead of hitting pay dirt,
02:52Bailey has run into a 25-foot clay layer with no gold.
03:04It's all this clay.
03:06Like, where the do we take it?
03:0725 more feet down, that's...
03:09That's too much.
03:10Too much for this year.
03:12There might be rich pay farther down,
03:15but you think about it, we don't know what's down there.
03:17Yeah.
03:21I dug a test hole pretty much just across from that elbow right there.
03:25It's to, like, the edge of that over there.
03:27But it's just clay.
03:28Oh, it's clay all the way to the next cut, man.
03:33It doesn't make any sense.
03:38Sorry that I've got to tell you, but, like, the ground don't lie.
03:42It's all dead zone.
03:47It's a smack to the face, man.
03:49I know we did all this work, but...
03:52It's worth it.
03:54All right, give me a minute.
03:55Yeah.
04:08We have no clue what's underneath this clay,
04:10and we've got to figure out something quick
04:12because time's running out.
04:17Quite a bit going on today.
04:19You know, Rick's doing some soul searching right now,
04:21looking for what he wants to do.
04:23So, a lot of thoughts going through his head.
04:32You know, I really thought that this whole Valhalla cut
04:34was going to be huge for us.
04:35Bailey gets on to this clay layer.
04:37We just have no way to deal with that this year.
04:39It's just not going to work.
04:43I'm out here with seven people trying to move a mountain, right,
04:45to get down to a little spot in the bottom
04:48that's got a bunch of gold in it.
04:52When I wanted to make these big decisions,
04:54that would leave me, by the time I was done with this,
04:57with something that I could hold in that cell
04:59and be able to do what I wanted.
05:01That's the whole reason I'm out here, right?
05:03It's, you know, I want to be mining until I'm 100 years old.
05:06I want to learn this.
05:07I want to do it.
05:08I want to do it right, and I want to be happy after this.
05:11And, you know, now I'll walk away with nothing, you know?
05:16And that's the opposite of the plan.
05:21I wanted to walk away from this with everything.
05:23And, uh...
05:27Yeah.
05:34This whole endeavor could be the thing
05:36that makes my entire life great,
05:40or it could be the thing that ruins it.
05:48I can handle it.
05:49I can handle it.
05:50I've been handling it,
05:51but, like, just some days, man, it's just too much.
05:54And I don't talk about it with my guys.
05:55I don't talk about it with anybody,
05:56because if I talk about it, it makes it real,
05:58and then I can't f***ing control it.
06:02It's just not where I thought it would be
06:05when I made the decision.
06:06f***ing, and it's frustrating.
06:08And I don't...
06:08At this time, I'm wondering if it ever is going to be.
06:14f***ing, yeah, I'm f***ing struggling more
06:16than I thought I would.
06:17Damn it.
06:41There's no reason to slow down for me.
06:44Have you ever seen these retired people?
06:46I mean, the biggest thing they have to look forward
06:49with is to walk behind the wife,
06:51go f***ing shopping,
06:53talking about things they could have done
06:55or should have done.
06:56They're dead already.
06:57They just don't know it.
06:58Not me.
07:00Back that f***ing thing up.
07:02Let's go.
07:02King of the Klondike,
07:04Tony Beetz,
07:05is on the verge of breaking records.
07:08There's still almost two months of the season to go,
07:11and Tony is already closing in
07:14on a massive milestone.
07:17We're only, what, 500 ounces away from the target.
07:20Right now, we've got three boxes banging away,
07:23you know, six, 700 yards an hour.
07:25So if anything goes well,
07:27we should hit our 6,500-ounce goal this week.
07:32That is exciting.
07:34Tony has three wash plants running,
07:38sluice-a-lot and find-a-lot
07:39on the Indian River.
07:41And the trommel on Paradise Hill.
07:44To hit his target,
07:46Tony needs his entire arsenal of wash plants
07:49running full bore this week.
07:52Okay, back that thing up quicker.
07:54Let's go, go, go, go, go, go.
07:59At the corner cut,
08:01sluice-a-lot accounts for half
08:03the Indian River's weekly gold production.
08:09My responsibility is while I run this land,
08:12we've got to watch the fines
08:14and the forest tailings that build up,
08:16you know?
08:21We've got to get the middle of the house.
08:30We've got a shutdown.
08:41We've got a shutdown.
08:44and that's not good you can blow up that end pulley and then you get a major jam up and
08:51then
08:51your runs get filled and you end up blowing gold out of the boxes because your runs will get full
08:56of rocks eh we got to do something about it a broken drum pulley on the course tailings conveyor
09:04has jammed taking sluice a lot out of action
09:12you can start digging down here you know the drill right start to the day though
09:19didn't think i'd be doing this a little bit of a project we can't just take the drum out
09:26we gotta take the whole conveyor off in charge of getting sluice a lot back on the gold
09:32indian river foreman cousin mike we're just gonna move the whole wasp land to a new spot where it's
09:39level sluice a lot's tailings conveyor removes coarse waste rocks from the shaker decks but four months
09:50of wear and tear has sheared its drum pulley from its shaft and the belt no longer turns
09:56to replace it cousin mike needs to raise the plant with its built-in hydraulic rams then drag it out
10:06with a dozer until it's free from the dirt next he must remove the conveyor and belt to access the
10:14broken drum pulley then install a replacement reattach the belt and finally fire the plant back up
10:27i can lift up the flan hydraulically every little bit helps as we can get it out of the dirt
10:34there it goes
10:39this is just so that when i start dragging we don't wreck anything
10:50we'll start hooking up some cables
11:05you guys get the away from that cable
11:11and that cable snaps it'll cut you right in half stay away from it
11:23stay away from that cable everyone's cleared tony beats wants to smash his 6 500 ounce season target
11:33this week and needs to get his wash plant sluice a lot back in action all right out we go
11:54i already know what it is now it's heavy cooling
12:05i'll have a look at it the plant free from the dirt tony can now inspect the broken tailings conveyor
12:14so how's it going gentlemen see you got it out of the dirt
12:18you know make an old guy crawl underneath this how are you what the hi if he can't do that
12:24anymore
12:25he shouldn't be here oh what the are you finding over there the tailpullies toast i found a new one
12:32let's see if it fits on each side we got a plate so we have to disconnect that plate take
12:39it off
12:40no just rip the out this build for it but i wouldn't want to screw around in the back here
12:45are you hurry up
12:49okay i'm losing this one upland yeah
12:56let's do some lifting and then we can swing it out
13:07helen can you walk ahead a little bit walk forward
13:17you're free
13:20maybe maybe walk another four feet
13:24i'll lift it up till it's free and try and keep it on the top that i don't hit anything
13:29okay good there
13:34yeah yeah we're good there well that was pretty successful
13:44yeah that's it
13:48yeah watch your toes watch your toes
13:52he's out
13:54yeah so we finally got this bastard out
13:57as you can see it's ripped here all the way around but we'll first try to
14:02put the new pulley in getting back to sluicing as soon as possible
14:06if the shaft is wide enough and everything and hopefully that all works out
14:12the other one is 56 and this one is 68
14:18uh-oh the one i brought is a little bit smaller
14:24uh-oh
14:26that's not gonna work
14:29so we need a new plan we like to hit the season goal so that plan's got to be up
14:34and running in order to achieve that until we come up with something else sluice a lot ain't gonna be
14:39running
14:59the gold in the ground is the gold in the ground but it's a lot of dirt to get through
15:06it's just extremely frustrating heading into the home stretch of the season parker schnabel's
15:1410 000 ounce gold target is in danger of slipping from his grasp we just need to keep the sluicing
15:21hours up we're going to be hard pressed to get through that pit this year if we don't have wash
15:25plants running so we just hit 10 000 ounces we've got to sluice all of it
15:33last week he shut down both sluice for and big red parker shut down two wash plants to dig out
15:39the last of
15:40the pay dirt from the golden mile we have a major problem the dirt can't be in the hole anymore
15:46we
15:47could just start making pay piles
15:51while the crew continues to dig out pay
15:55parker wants to get one of the plants back up and sluicing so we've built two big pay piles
16:02big red's ready to move next to one of the big piles that we've got of pay
16:06but now tyson's taken some time off timing's not great well that's a wrap for me right now i drive
16:14to
16:14the airport and fly home to my sister's wedding while i'm gone one of the major things that really have
16:20to
16:20happen is moving big red with hyphen being gone brennan's filling in for him and brennan's going
16:27to get that plant moved this is the first kind of major wash plant thing that brennan's been in charge
16:35of so we'll see how badly he can screw it up it's on brennan now shouldn't take more than a
16:43ship
16:46hopefully i remember how all the pieces go together here despite being a seasoned dirt mover
16:52brennan rouo hasn't moved big red in five years moving a plant's always a big responsibility and
17:00it does always give me a bit of anxiety if i was to be honest with you we have two
17:04pay piles that are
17:05the size of mount everest here to get through so it's all a massive race against the clock right now
17:12every minute that the plant shut down is that many ounces of gold not getting washed
17:17parker wanted this thing solution tonight and i want to make that happen
17:24but i do want to prove myself here
17:35you guys are good with all this yeah yeah i was hoping to have it moved and set up today
17:39and washing rocks for night shifts so is your pad ready yeah better be
17:50don't break my wash plant
17:53he looked at you not me i should be looking at you first don't break my wash plan i can't
17:58promise you that
18:04hopefully these guys can get a wash plant moved hey paul we're ready to move this plant here
18:10mechanic alec kelly helps brennan move big red one mile to the far end of the golden mine
18:17oh this thing doesn't corner like a passenger car
18:23the main body of big red weighs 50 tons and clocks in at 21 feet high
18:40come on
18:51oh
18:58plant off the low boy brennan must drag it into place on its new pad
19:07and make sure the plant comes up sort of square enough so we're not twisting like your pad here
19:17favor that side of the bank and then sort of like walk sideways out
19:20to leave enough room for big red's massive feeder belts brennan must maneuver the plant to the edge of
19:28the pad by dangling his 58-ton excavator over the 50-foot drop feeling better about that yeah now just
19:37walk here far track down into it how close am i ah like two feet am i gonna drop hard
19:47it should be okay just lower your boom down as you go
19:54you can just push yourself back too if you want it'll dig in there you go
20:01it sure sucks having tyson gone here right in the middle of a plant move like this
20:08yeah it's definitely feeling a little steeper than i thought it was
20:18a little bit more
20:18you can just go down and stop there
20:25that does look a little gnarly eh yeah not bad you guys better make sure you remind parker because
20:30he looked at me and said are you sure you finished your pad
20:33dude a lot of prep saves a lot of time we've still got a little ways to go here but
20:37i think he
20:37got her lined up pretty good. Next step, bring in the feed conveyor that delivers the gold-rich
20:45paydirt to the plant. We can start folding up our radio stacker. These cross things are looking good.
20:57Hmm, that definitely won't last the rest of the year, that's for sure.
21:04This clip here, that clip there, and that one down there are toast. And all it takes is one bad
21:11clip to
21:13rip, and then the whole belt could be garbage. The metal clips that hold the 200-foot-long belt
21:21together are nearly destroyed. And we've got four seams in pretty s*** condition. So what is that?
21:30What are you trying to tell me here? I'm really wanting to hang a belt on this guy.
21:34Are you serious? So we have one seam. We'll have more uptime for later,
21:39throughout the cold season. Well, how long is this going to take? If I can get it to the yard,
21:44probably six, eight hours. Have it buttoned up. S***ing sucks, man. I told Parker that I'd have
21:48this f***ing thing moved in Slewson by night shift. It's really f***ing weird. Night shift the next day.
21:55Already near the end of the shift, replacing the belt crushes Brennan's timeline.
22:03The f*** is that pissed me off. You know, that's a lot of sluice time loss. That'll be a 24
22:09-hour
22:09period of no rocks getting run. Those piles are just too big to f***ing have a minute of downtime,
22:14let alone 24 hours of it.
22:26Right now, sluice lot is down. So I've got to figure out something, improvise something,
22:32if there's anything to get that sluice box back up and going.
22:36On the brink of breaking through his season goal, one of Tony's top moneymakers,
22:42sluice-a-lot, has been shut down by a broken tail pulley.
22:48We tried ordering one, but now we're talking about a week or two. You cannot be f***ing down
22:52for two weeks. We have to come up with something. Certainly with all the crap we have, we can
22:58bag, steal, borrow some f***ing thing in order to keep on going.
23:08Let's have a peek.
23:10This one.
23:12I was looking at that one.
23:14Here, this one.
23:17Nice and thick.
23:19Is the inside 17 and a half?
23:22Oh, that might be.
23:23Even if it's not quite, that'd be fine, too.
23:2717.
23:28That'd be this perfect.
23:29That would never break again, eh?
23:31I don't think so.
23:34F***, yeah.
23:35What do you think, Hoogstra?
23:36I think it's a nice pipe.
23:38Oh, boy.
23:40Okay.
23:40You're too f***ing proud.
23:42I think she'll do perfect.
23:43Shim it, gentlemen.
23:45Weld it against it.
23:46Yeah.
23:47Yeah.
23:47Perfect.
23:48Perfect.
23:48We should have this plan going before the end of the day.
23:52After finding a pipe approximately the same diameter as the busted drum, Cousin Mike and Lynn need to cut it
24:01to size.
24:02Knock this out, weld it on, bingo.
24:04Have a boost fix.
24:05A couple hours, they'll have the f***ing thing welded up already.
24:09I like it.
24:10I think it'd be good.
24:11You're going to do a boost fix today.
24:17All right.
24:18Over there.
24:22First, what we're going to do is remove the side plate from the drum.
24:38So, I just got to clean that up so that we got a clean surface to weld on.
24:43That will make a more solid weld, too, for the new drum.
24:52All right.
25:04Now, we have to line it up a little bit.
25:15Everything looks nice and straight.
25:19It's going to be a heavy pull.
25:22Double the weight of the old drum.
25:25Cousin Mike must now install the new pulley on the conveyor to find out if it will work.
25:34If we can side it in, we can drop one side in, right?
25:36Try it.
25:37Yeah.
25:37Beautiful.
25:39Okay.
25:40Okay.
25:41Now, I'll lift the other end up, eh?
25:43All right.
25:44All right.
25:45All right.
25:45All right.
25:46All right.
25:47All right.
25:48All right.
25:50All right.
25:52Can we put a chain on that?
25:53Yeah, I'll put a chain on this one, too.
25:57Yeah.
25:57I'll slide it your way.
26:04Okay.
26:06That drum looks good.
26:08I'm very happy with how that looks.
26:09Oh, yeah.
26:14We are pretty much ready.
26:16Conveyor belt's done.
26:17Hanging back in the plant.
26:19And we're getting pretty close to it looking like a wash plant again.
26:30There it is.
26:31Don't move.
26:32No one move.
26:32See how that goes.
26:34We're in.
26:34All right.
26:35We're in there now.
26:36Right on, boys.
26:37So all we got to do now is just get it bolted up.
26:40We're in business.
26:48Perfect.
26:49We won't get old enough to wear that out.
26:52Hopefully, we'll get enough to get our season goal in this week.
26:56But we'll see.
26:57It looks pretty good.
26:59We'll be there for years and years.
27:15We'll be there for years and years.
27:23Back to full capacity.
27:25Tony's in the hunt for his 6,500-ounce gold target.
27:29So, what do you think?
27:30I'll give you a warranty of 10 years.
27:32How about that?
27:33Okay.
27:33Then I'll be back in 10 years.
27:35Stay, huh?
28:02Well, plant's set up.
28:03Water line's in.
28:04And we're just waiting on Alec to get the radial stacker down here.
28:07Massive pay pile that the trucks keep adding to daily.
28:10So, we need to get through that.
28:11After moving the bulk of Big Red in one shift,
28:15stand-in foreman Brennan Rouault is itching to get back
28:19sluicing Golden Mile Payne.
28:23Just keep buttoning a few things up here.
28:25Keep busy until he shows up with that.
28:27So, I want to be washing rocks here as fast as possible.
28:33Stopping Brennan from firing up,
28:35a busted 200-foot conveyor belt.
28:39I know Brennan was really hoping to get Big Red moved in one day,
28:42but I've already slowed that timeline down.
28:46I'm going to get it figured out.
28:48Looks like it's still me, myself, and I here for this project.
28:51There's no spare hands to help.
28:54Come on, Sash.
28:54So, Alec will need to think outside the box.
28:57This is to help feed the new conveyor belt into the frame of the unit.
29:04Just like that.
29:06String this guy out.
29:08Cut the old one off.
29:10Rip the old belt out this way.
29:11The rope gets caught in the frame.
29:13Tie the new belt onto the rope.
29:15Going through that snatch block.
29:16Pull on the rope.
29:17New conveyor belt goes in.
29:19That's how we get it assembled.
29:22We'll cut this in half and rip it off.
29:28That's in half.
29:29Start pulling.
29:31Pull on the belt.
29:44It's a long belt.
30:01Oh, we've got the old belt pulled out of the conveyor frame.
30:05Worked really nicely.
30:07Get my rope back here.
30:08And then pretty well reverse the procedure.
30:11Tie the new belt onto this rope end and drag it through again with the truck.
30:17Get this roll freed up.
30:18Lay it out next to the mighty zoom boom.
30:22Next, Alec unspools the 5,500 pound roll of fresh belt.
30:35This is perfect.
30:43Brand new belt.
30:45So, I have to make sure that I don't cut the belt too short.
30:48I don't cut it too long.
30:53I hope this is the right place.
31:02You can't tie knots.
31:04Tie two.
31:05Done.
31:07Hook the other end of that rope up to Mr. Truck and sort of drive out that way.
31:11And this guy should feed in nicely.
31:13To pull the new belt onto the conveyor and avoid snagging or ripping the new rubber,
31:20Alec has devised a unique solution.
31:24Got a snatch block here just to direct the rope travel somewhere away from the path that
31:31our new belt will be taking to get into the conveyor.
31:34So, we're not driving over top of ourselves.
31:37Got everything rigged up.
31:39There we go.
32:06There we go.
32:17well we got our belt together I'm really satisfied the guys are itching for it and
32:22he's gonna take the white Kenworth there and hook it up to this guy here take it
32:26to Brennan a day behind schedule Brennan finally has the radial stacker back and
32:33is ready to test Alex belt fix this is the moment of truth here we go
32:48this is the moment of truth testing
33:00well should we hit the shaker and get some dirt thrown at it I think so
33:06well I'm super happy to see the dirt going through big red again and I just hope Parker's isn't happy
33:1324 hours behind schedule big red is back sluicing golden mile painter
33:25you're washing rocks day late and a dollar short Brennan that's normal I'm more than a dollar
33:33short what do you mean you've got 80,000 yards of top gravel sitting there thank you guys for getting
33:40this thing rolling yeah you bet it's a nice setup super clean I'm very happy right now we're gonna
33:48have a hope in hell and getting through this pile and all the rest is gonna come this way
34:11it's just clay nothing but clay it's got me by surprise right now it's just not I just wasn't ready
34:16for that you know
34:17come up with a new plan Rick Ness is reeling from a gut punch after spending a month and a
34:25million dollars he's hit a dead
34:27end at Valhalla now he's expecting a visit from an old friend
34:35hey Rick look at this how's it going man good buddy how you doing pretty good living the dream
34:40oh yeah good to see you how you doing I'm good how are you oh great we were in the
34:46area I had to pick up a rock truck
34:47I had to look at the rock truck this morning yeah rock trucks I need somebody else I got 30
34:51of them and I need more
34:52yeah price of gold is good everything is running good the price of gold is good I see what you
34:57and
34:57you and Parker are doing and I'm just like man am I missing something depths that we're going though
35:01I don't know that's uh that's getting a little out of hand for such a small crew but every now
35:05and then
35:05we'll hit some clay band and that mess you need a lot of trucks Rick yeah we need a lot
35:09of trucks
35:09yeah and for that you need some of that gold stuff funny how that is that's right we should just
35:14go
35:14look at it there you go let's try the race car how's that ah it's got no brakes right now
35:20well who cares
35:21oh
35:33holy that's a hell of a hole pal
35:35yeah
35:46that's pretty scary young man see this bedrock we're staying on right here yeah yeah and uh and
35:53it it goes down like that I'll have to come up with a new plan for that but and how
35:57many feet just
35:58lose 10 15 50 50 50 50 50 50 50 50 yes this is the 50 feet yep well that's
36:04not wrong with that
36:05yeah for the plus side for us yeah three to one three to one race yes yes any drill holes
36:10no
36:12Vegas Valley we opened up last year and that this is where the channel went down and we got all
36:17that
36:17out of there and there's still a chunk in there yeah there's a chunk in there if you attack something
36:22like this yeah 10 15 trucks if not 20 yeah go like hell to really yeah to really open it
36:28up
36:28yeah it'd be something that'd be something and I can't afford that so nice project huh yeah
36:34I like it it won't be until you get to the bottom right that's pretty much it yeah
36:46how did it go you learn anything new well you get a hole going down there but it is 150
36:54down to 50
36:54pay so that's not bad you know other to do this you know you should go in big a lot
37:01of equipment
37:02that's what we talked about put a pile in there yeah but it takes lots of money that takes lots
37:08of
37:08gold it's worked it's worked so far you know we've uh we've definitely stayed alive but it's uh this
37:17one's got me worried write a few bucks going in there before you get it right yeah yep kind of
37:23tough
37:24that's what's got me worried the most is I was hoping to be at this point pay this off and
37:29start
37:29really putting the money away and now it's turned into can I survive until I can start putting the
37:33money away yeah now you don't want to become a seller do I or do I yeah I don't know
37:41sometimes I'm
37:42wondering well well put a price on the table but me put me put a price on the table yeah
37:52put a price
38:16what you sell this at Duncan Creek Rick's just had a bombshell buyout offer dropped by the king of the
38:25Klondike I would be serious interesting because I like these kind of projects if you want to discuss
38:34that I don't want these guys around at current prices Rick's four miles of Duncan Creek claims
38:45could contain over 50 million dollars of gold
38:57I appreciate you stopping by it it's always good nice you it's good to see you
39:05Rick good luck catch you later man
39:28it's a weird situation to be in right now just with what Tony said I just
39:33uh kind of I mean kind of hit me in a way I mean obviously I know I know what
39:38I got here I know the
39:39value of it it just seems like at this point taking the money and running it's just it's really smart
39:53or is
39:54it contrary to what I set up here to do you know it's a number with seven zeros on it
40:00gets thrown in
40:00your face like it's hard to it's hard to say no to that too I've never really been one to
40:09get pushed
40:10out of something when I wasn't ready for it but maybe I shouldn't be looking at it that way I
40:14don't know
40:19every time I think that you know I'm getting ahead I just get pushed backwards again and like you
40:23know that's it's whatever I'm not crying about it I'm here to take it I'm here to do it but
40:27like
40:27when is enough enough when there's a when there's a when there's a guarantee put in front of you when
40:32do you just say it I'll take that and I'll quit fighting I've been saying like you know I was
40:3930
40:40years old when I came up here 14 years ago and now I'm 70 but I don't know if that's
40:43a joke anymore
40:48yeah I'm not gonna have an answer today either so I got a lot to think about
41:20at the end of the week Tyson has returned from his sister's wedding was there any good drama at
41:26your wedding no no boring no one pretty good man it's not a real wedding without at least one fist
41:33fight yeah how did big reds move go Brennan I wishing you're there with us but we got it all
41:39set up had a delay though with that belt the radial stacker there and he's like I need to change
41:45the
41:45belt and I tried arguing with him you don't want to be the guy that goes to them at midnight
41:49and be
41:49like hey remember that belt and it's like minus 10 out the one you wanted to change like two weeks
41:56ago
41:56yeah and we told you not to but yeah they're not it went really smooth thanks for filling in while
42:04Tyson was gone nice work man yeah thanks hope to make you proud there yeah Tyson you want to see
42:09what Bob did sure I think that says Bob on there doesn't it oh yeah let's see how the bridge
42:14cut did
42:15first up Parker's wash plant Bob over the last two months it's been consistently averaging 150 ounces
42:2540 80 100 130 142.7 yeah Bob's been pretty boring next up Roxanne running pay dirt from Kennan
42:46Stewart's where last week it pulled in 123 ounces all right Roxanne 60 100 120 130 134.3 that's not
43:06bad
43:06finally big red sluicing the first pay dirt from the golden mile in two weeks here we go big red
43:1610 20 30 40 40.25 well you know Brennan you didn't get a full week right you're just getting
43:30started
43:30so it's a start yeah no for sure last week we had 306.25 ounces this week it's 317.25
43:39worth 1.1 million
43:43dollars so we picked up 11 ounces and season total 7365.8 ounces this crawling towards 10,000 ounces is
43:55painful at this pace Parker will fall short of his 10,000 ounce goal we were racing earlier this season
44:04well I don't know how much I told you guys but there is a new plant showing up so we
44:08should be able to
44:09slam through some yardage and so hopefully that makes a difference hopefully you're ready for a good
44:14push we'll see
44:26so we went and fish the drink I told him but if for some reason or another he wanted to
44:32partner up but
44:32he wanted to sell the joint yeah we could go over there and dig a hole I suppose maybe we'll
44:39send you
44:40the keynote Mike yeah yeah
44:47so you're gonna weigh some gold up or what we're almost at 6,000 ounces our goal is 6,500
44:52to break through his season target six weeks ahead of schedule Tony needs his three wash plants to
45:00deliver 507 ounces okay let's do it pour it in there first up sluice a lot running pay dirt from
45:09the
45:09Indian River's corner cut 18 23 30 up to 40 50 coming up 60 going once going twice 70 80
45:2084.76
45:24we might as well see to stay at home then two days you made it sound like an auction once
45:31gone twice
45:31yeah I'll take it anyway so what do you got next should we do find a lot now find a
45:38lot ran all week long
45:40also sluicing corner cut pay I'll count a lot 10 20 30 40 50 70 80 90 110 130 140
45:53148 148.96
45:59oh you got more 150 170 100 200 220 230 250 270 278.18 getting very close that season goal
46:15pretty nice
46:16little haul isn't it so now I really want to know what the trommel brought in be interesting to see
46:20what we get out of the hill to hit Tony's season goal Mike's trommel needs to bring in
46:27a hundred and a hundred and forty four ounces y'all ready for this 10 20 30 40 50 70
46:3780 90
46:44100 110 120 130 140 60 70 180 190 200 210 220 230 240 250 260
46:59260 262.14 there's a good million bucks on the table guys Tony has hauled in a weekly total of
47:08625
47:1025 ounces and that gets us out over our season so there you go over our goal Tony now has
47:20a total of 6,618 ounces worth a stunning 23 million dollars
47:38we still have a month or so left so are we gonna up our goal we'll do the best we
47:44can and we'll see
47:45how far we get you and I have to go back to the hill
47:48you
