A powerful lightning strike hits near residential buildings, followed by an extremely loud thunderclap in Doha.
Madhur Bhatnagar, from Doha, Qatar, filmed the moment on a quiet, rain-soaked street at night. The footage shows a sudden, bright bolt of lightning striking down from the clouds, appearing very close to nearby buildings.
Almost instantly, a deafening crack of thunder follows, with the sound echoing across the area and overpowering the otherwise calm surroundings.
Viewers reacted to the intensity of the strike.
