00:05Hi there! In this video, we'll show you how to stick Sol through Ledger Live with our partner Figment.
00:10Before we start, make sure to download the latest version of Ledger Live from our website.
00:14Version 2.42 or above is what you need.
00:17Once that is done, make sure you have a Solana account.
00:20If you don't, head over to the Accounts tab and use the Add Account button to create your Sol account.
00:25Once it's created, go ahead and fund it by clicking the Receive button to create a Solana deposit address.
00:33Verify that the address in Ledger Live matches the address on your Nano.
00:36If all looks good, click both buttons to approve, then send Sol to that address from another wallet or your
00:43favorite exchange.
00:44So what's great about Sol is you only need around 0.02 Sol to start your staking journey.
00:50Once the transaction clears, your Sol balance will appear in Ledger Live.
00:54This means your account is funded and you're ready to delegate your stake.
00:58Start by clicking the Stake button at the top.
01:01Take a moment to read the slide carefully, then click Continue.
01:05In the pop-up window, select Ledger by Figment and click Continue.
01:09Now, the percentages you see are commissions sticking by validators to operate the staking feature.
01:15You'll notice Ledger takes a smaller commission than most validators.
01:19Now, if you're wondering about APY, well, that depends on several factors, including uptime and speed of block production.
01:26A block explorer like Solana Beach can give you that info.
01:30Now, select the amount you wish to delegate and remember to leave at least 0.01 Sol into your account
01:37to cover future transaction fees.
01:38So, once you've entered the amount, click Continue to initiate the staking transaction.
01:43Review the transaction in Ledger Live and on your Nano.
01:46If all looks good, go ahead and approve the transaction using the buttons on your device.
01:52Once that transaction is confirmed, you've initiated your Sol delegation.
01:56The transaction will show as still activating for about 2-3 days because it takes one full epoch for your
02:03delegation to activate.
02:05And once you see Active in the status column of your delegation section, the staking provider, Figment in this case,
02:12has now staked your Sol and you're earning rewards.
02:15In case you're wondering, your staking rewards will go into your delegated balance.
02:20When you're ready to undelegate or access your rewards, just follow the link below to a support article that walks
02:26you through those easy steps.
02:28Until then, enjoy the yield with Ledger by Figment.
