00:03That is, unless you use this now viral hack.
00:06TikToker at NDA Internet shared a video in February of the hack,
00:10which includes buying an entire row of seats on whatever flight you're looking to travel on.
00:14But buying all of those tickets is fully refundable,
00:16then refunding two of the three just 45 minutes before the flight.
00:20The hack is meant to leave you and only you with an empty row of seats all to yourself,
00:24or as the TikToker refers to it, a poor man's first class.
00:27It's a genius, albeit selfish hack,
00:29which has both garnered 40,000 likes on the platform as well as criticism from other flyers,
00:34with the video's top comment writing, quote,
00:36The catch is the airlines will stop offering refundable tickets, and the rest of us suffer,
00:41with others saying that you will probably get banned from buying tickets from the airline
00:44if you try this more than once, or standby passengers will just end up filling those seats.
00:48Others have even thanked the TikToker for helping to expand the standby offerings
00:52for travelers who like to get around on the altar cheap.
00:54Whichever side of the aisle you end up on, one thing is clear,
00:57people will do just about anything to be more comfortable in flight.
