👉 Professor’s tip to stay awake in one minute

Be honest — are you actually fixing the problem… or just slapping a temporary “don’t die yet” solution on it?

Are you the caffeine abuser, the panic crammer, or the “I’ll just close my eyes for 5 seconds” liar?

So what’s your move… and what does that say about you?

Yo, like and share this and see how many peeps can answer — let’s make it go viral 🔥

00:00Why do some people get sleepy the moment they start trying to study? I'm Dan
00:04Willingham. I'm a professor who studies human learning. Obviously if you haven't
00:07slept enough recently there are changes in your brain chemistry that tell you
00:11hey it's time to sleep. That's an internal cue to sleep. You're also
00:15sensitive to external cues that it's time to go to sleep. For example you always
00:20sleep in the same place so your mind learns oh we're in bed must be time to
00:24go to sleep. So you don't want to study in bed because that's giving your brain a
00:28cue that you plan to go to sleep. In fact if you could avoid it I wouldn't even
00:31study in your bedroom. Another external cue is a consistent sleep time like you go
00:37to sleep at 11 o'clock every night. If you don't have that consistency then as far as
00:42your body is concerned
