A new bar and grill in Leeds has been granted a licence after agreeing to turn away Otley Run pub crawlers. Conditions have been added following concerns from residents and local representatives.

00:06restrict entry for pub crawl groups. Leeds City Council approved plans for Soho Tavern
00:11on Wheatwood Lane following a licensing hearing. The applicant agreed not to admit people taking
00:17part in the Otley run and to limit alcohol sales to between 11am and 11pm. There were
00:2333 objections to the plans and councillors heard concerns from residents and Alex Sobel MP about
00:30potential disorder linked to the crawl. A representative for the operator said it runs
00:35similar venues elsewhere. The committee imposed conditions including signage
00:40and possible door staff to manage entry and behaviour.
