00:03taking a quick look at how to get up and running with Seagate's Game Drive for PS4 systems.

00:18Your PS4 is a computer.
00:20Its main components are not that different from a PC's.
00:24PS4's ship standard with 500GB and 1TB hard drives,
00:28which tend to be at capacity, storing around 10 to 20 PS4 games.

00:38you can quickly multiply your PS4's game storage capacity.
00:42Setup couldn't be easier.
00:44Just take it out of the box and plug it right into one of the available USB ports.
00:48It needs no external power, and your PS4 has a quick and easy formatting process.
00:55After connecting, you might see a message in the screen's corner
00:58letting you know that a device has been found.
01:01It may also say that the device is unsupported.
01:04You'll need to format the drive before it's ready to use.
01:07From your home screen, click Settings, and then scroll to Devices.
01:13Scroll down to USB Storage Devices,
01:16and you'll see that the PS4 has automatically detected the game drive.
01:20Click on the drive, and then select Format as Extended Storage,
01:25and follow the prompts.
01:27That's it.
01:29Navigate back to your system menu, click Storage,
01:33and you'll see the new external drive next to your PS4's internal drive.
01:37And note that PS4 will automatically designate this new drive
01:41as its primary install drive.
01:43You can change that default right here in the storage menu.
01:48If you want, unplug it and take it to your friend's house
01:51and load it onto their console.
01:53All of your PS4 games can go with you wherever you take them.
