00:53So in an open world game like Horizon Forbidden West
00:56If you open up the map and fast travel
00:58From one end to the other
01:00Restarting from a checkpoint will be super fast
01:02And when you boot up the game
01:04You're right there in the action
01:07As Aloy travels into the Forbidden West
01:09She discovers stunning valleys, deserts
01:12And ruined cities full of iconic landmarks
01:14For the sequel we wanted to go wider and deeper
01:18So the map is a bit bigger
01:19But we also wanted to let players discover
01:22What lies hidden beneath the surface of lakes and rivers
01:25The landscapes may be stunning
01:27But danger lurks in every corner in the Forbidden West
01:31It is home to a large variety of machines
01:34Shell snappers that guard the shores and swamps
01:38Snapmaws that hunt the waterways
01:40And sunwings that patrol the skies
01:42Players will discover dozens of new machines
01:45As they explore the Forbidden West
01:47And each of these machines has to be scanned and studied
01:50In order to fight them effectively
01:51The Forbidden West is also home to new tribes
01:54And some of them are peaceful and others are hostile
01:57And one of these hostile tribes has discovered the knowledge
02:00Of how to override machines
02:02And use them as beasts of war in combat
02:05One of the bigger machines is the mammoth-like tremor tusk
02:08It's loaded with weapons and heavy-plated armor
02:11And it's already dangerous when you encounter it in the wilds
02:14But when it's specially outfitted by the tribes
02:16It's even more dangerous
02:19The Forbidden West harbors an even greater challenge
02:22That's a collapsing biosphere
02:23A red blight infects the lands
02:26It's choking wildlife and starving animals and tribes
02:29And the weather has spiraled out of control
02:32Generating massive supercell storms that flood canyons and fields
02:36Aloy will have to go to great lengths in order to save this world
02:41As the game is built and designed on mystery
02:43We don't want to spoil all the surprises today
02:46We have been working very hard in order to create a worthy sequel
02:49One that will hopefully appeal to all the fans
02:52But also newcomers to the franchise
02:54And we're aiming to release the game next year in 2021
