01:19if you want to pin them over the screen

01:22so that's what we want, we want your game bar to be yours
01:24With the Xbox Live thing that we have brought into GameBar,
01:27you can chat with your friends not just on PC, but also on console, but also on iOS and Android.
01:33Dan, what are a couple ways that people are using GameBar?
01:35They use it to take pictures, create quick memes of some awesome moment that they had in the game,
01:40be able to share with their friends on Twitter or any other social network,
01:43and monitor performance for their PC is another feature.
01:46Sounds like GameBar is really a toolbox that you're going to allow people to arrange their workspace the way they'd
01:52like to.
01:52Dan, tell us a little more about that.
01:53With GameBar, you have the ability to customize it how you want it.
01:56So every gamer is different. Some people care about some features versus others.
02:00And so I personally really care about my friends, right?
02:03So I have my friends list front and center. I have all of them listed there.
02:07I can see what they're playing right now. I can double click on them, start conversation, whether text or voice.
02:12And I also really care about content, creating pictures and videos.
02:15I like to post them on Twitter, on YouTube.
02:17And so I have my gallery out that shows all the latest pictures and videos I've made
02:21and all the memes that I've created within the GameBar.
02:23So that's why you've created yours.
02:24Kapal, how have you created your space with GameBar?
02:27For me, it's all about audio, which means two widgets.
02:29One is the audio control widget so that I can play on with the settings for what my chat versus
02:34music versus my game.
02:36And the second is actually Spotify.
02:38So we're bringing Spotify into the GameBar so you can listen to music.
02:41So the playlist that you love when you are playing whatever your game of choice is.
02:45because I love RTSs and control that music without ever leaving the game.
02:50That's big news for fans of gaming and music because it all happens right there.
02:54That's right.
02:55You know, people love to watch gaming as much as they love to play.
02:58And so we've brought in streaming as well.
03:00So I can watch my favorite streamers right within GameBar.
03:04or I can pin them so that they stay there all the time while I'm either gaming or doing whatever
03:08else I'm doing.
03:09I can just watch that stream and continue doing whatever.
03:13It's like a picture over a picture, right?
03:15That's exactly right.
03:15Because you're watching their game over my game.
03:17You've really worked closely with the community to develop these features.
03:21Tell us about some of the plans moving forward.
03:23Yeah, so we have a lot coming, right?
03:25Like we're, you know, dedicated to this space.
03:27I love PC gaming.
03:28This is my passion.
03:30You know, I game every night.
03:31And so we're always looking for PC gaming feedback on what we should do next.
03:35One of the big things that we're bringing is looking for a group.
03:38This was really successful on console.
03:39We call it LFG.
03:41This is the idea where I can quickly find someone to finish that boss fight or that raid together.
03:46So choose a game, choose what you're looking for, start it.
03:50People can kind of see those lists, opt in.
03:54You get a bunch of feedback saying like, hey, these people want to play with you.
03:56You say yes, you join a party, join voice, and you're good to go.
