00:01And now on to the Chinese.
00:03What makes the Chinese so cool is the addition of banner armies.
00:07And what banner armies are is the ability to go to my barrack, click one button, and have an army
00:14created.
00:15So as you can see, right now, with one click, I created pikemen and archers.
00:21So take a quick look at that again.
00:24I'll click four times, four separate armies pop out of the building.
00:30So that way I can create a big army in a short amount of time.
00:35The other thing that we talked about were new ways to play.
00:39With Age of Empires III, the Asian dynasties, we're including Regicide as a gameplay type.
00:44So when I play a Regicide map, I'll start with a castle, a regent's castle.
00:49And inside my castle, I'll start with a leader or a regent.
00:54What's interesting about this is that I can have my regent on the battlefield fighting.
00:59or I can keep him locked up safe inside his castle.
01:03Because if I lose that regent, then I lose the game.
01:07So as we talked about, the single player campaign, we're going more for a historically inspired.
01:14And we're actually kind of stretching that with the Asian dynasties, with the Chinese.
01:17We are exploring the what if scenario.
01:20What if the Chinese had come to the New World before anyone else?
01:23So in this case, we're having our Chinese army fight against the Aztecs.
01:28So if I bring my army up here, we can actually do some battle with our Aztec friends.
01:35And as my army gets into place, I get a chance to show off two of my favorite units.
01:40One of them is the Chinese flamethrower.
01:42And the other is the Flying Crow.
01:46If I bring these guys up into position,
01:49I can rain down Flying Crow on the Aztecs.
02:01So as you can see, lots of destruction and lots of fun.
02:05And that's our demo for Age of Empires III, the Asian dynasties.
02:09We're shipping this game sometime this holiday season.
