00:25We're really excited because we've upgraded
00:27every single piece of the game
00:33One of the new characters that we've added
00:35for Soul Calibur 4 which we're really excited about
00:37is Hilda who is basically
00:39a female knight and she's very different
00:41from other characters in that she actually wields two weapons
00:43the short sword as well as spear
00:45One of the great new features in Soul Calibur 4 that we're adding
00:47is the online functionality
00:48We're bringing the game online for the first time ever
00:51so you can be able to play against
00:53any player around the world and see who the real
00:55master of Soul Calibur is
00:57the Soul Gauge
00:58and what that does, that measures the amount of damage
01:01and the amount of defensiveness a player has
01:03so the more defensive and the more damage a player is
01:07what'll happen is that their Soul Gauge
01:09which is going to be a jewel right by the damage bar
01:11basically measures that
01:13and it'll go basically get weakened and go redder and redder
01:16and after a certain point where it'll be flashing
01:18what'll happen is that once your opponent pulls off a strong attack
01:22it'll break your guard
01:23and at that point it'll open you to being able to get your equipment destroyed
01:28with one of the new pieces that we added in the Soul Gauge
01:30is what we call the critical finishing moves
01:31and after your equipment has been destroyed
01:33what that is, it leaves you open to being susceptible to these finishing moves
01:38each of the Soul Calibur characters have their own signature finishing move
01:42that comes with spectacular effects
01:44when your Soul Gauge has been weakened again
01:46and your equipment has been destroyed
01:48when that character pulls off a strong attack
01:50what they can do is when they press all attack buttons
01:52they can pull off these devastating finishing moves
01:54that'll end around regardless of your health
01:56so with character customization
01:57there are a lot of different things you can do with a character
01:59you can change engine weight
02:00you can change your coloring
02:02you can change the way they look in terms of the armor
02:04the fighting style
02:06so there's definitely a lot of customizable features in there
02:09and you can actually take those characters and play against the other characters
02:12or other players in different versus modes
02:15online or offline
02:16so instead of just customizing your character visually
02:18what you'll be able to do is as you customize that character
02:21depending on the armor and the weapons you use
02:24what happens is that it'll add different stats and attributes to your character
02:27so you either make your character more offensive or more defensive
02:31Soul Calibur 4 will be available on July 29th for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3
