01:14New progression system.
01:17Did that Field of Dreams dad just say that we're changing the way that you earn rewards?

01:25So, in our December update, we're going to completely change the economy, introduce a
01:32new way for players to level up and unlock super cool rewards just by playing the game
01:37and completing daily and weekly challenges.
01:41We're taking randomness out of rewards.
01:43In-game currency will be truly meaningful.
01:46And with the new free reward system and exclusive premium rewards, you'll have even more stuff
01:51to earn.
01:54So, backpacks, like the one we just tossed out, and chests, you can add those to the list,
01:59because both of those are going away.

02:02For all you hoarders out there, don't freak out.
02:04All the backpacks you save...
02:06What are they going to do with them?
02:07They can still open them.
02:09There's no expiration date after the update, you can open them.

02:14But you won't get any new ones.
02:17In the December update, we're getting rid of favor by automatically converting it into
02:21the last of the backpacks.
02:23And shards are going to be super valuable.
02:25By the time the December update goes live, all current shards will blossom like beautiful
02:31butterflies into magnificent chests.
02:33What's happening to reliquaries?
02:35Reliquaries will still be available, they'll guarantee a legendary item, and the duplicate rate
02:40is now almost zero.
02:42Because they're the only loot box, there's also more item variety.
02:46But loot boxes and currency aren't the only things we're changing.
02:49We are going to replace runes with a brand new linear champion progression system.
02:56Runes are gone.
02:57So, you want that rare armor set for Ranger that you've been eyeballing?

03:02Well, you're going to be able to get that from completing those challenges.
03:06Certain challenges are going to give you shards.
03:08You're going to take those shards and use it to unlock things, and you're going to know
03:12when you're going to unlock things, and exactly how to do it.
03:17Shaders, attachments, lore scrolls, and skins for your champions, they'll all be available
03:22in the new progression system.

03:36All of the runes that you have earned up to this point are going to be completed.
03:41No matter what your progress on them, pat yourself on the back, you did it.
03:45It's exactly as if you completed it yourself, and you're going to get the rewards for them.
03:49And finally, speaking of rewards, we are introducing a brand new reward system with 100 tiers of free and premium
03:59rewards that level up as you earn XP from matches and by completing daily and weekly challenges.
04:05Players who purchase the optional battle pass will unlock even more exclusive items.
04:11But wait a second, what kind of rewards are we talking about here?
04:14Is this like a ranger elbow or like an Athena pouch or something?
04:19No, no, no, no.
04:20Actual good shit.
04:22Free and battle pass players will earn rewards like skins, shaders, vanity items, and more.
04:28The battle pass has over 50 never before seen items.
04:33And with it, you can fast track your progress and earn over 200 rewards.
