01:23It's the first time on an Xbox controller that we have an internal battery.
01:27You know, we wanted to bring a premium experience to the controller.
01:31So internalizing this battery allows us to have better aesthetics, better build quality on the controller itself.

01:42There is a charger built into this case.
01:45Place it on the dock itself.
01:47And it's always charging.
01:48Even when you run out of battery, which is not often, by the way.
01:52Each charge gives you up to 40 hours of gameplay.

02:01What we've done new on this is we've shortened them a little bit so that there's no accidental actuation of

02:07And we've actually increased the force to fire on them so they're a little bit snappier.
02:12As soon as I see the paddles, I just think of all the possibilities for certain spell slots or whatever

02:19The main thing with the paddles is just not taking the thumbs off the thumbsticks.
02:22When the Halo 5 Beta came out, I was taking my thumb off the thumbstick to press thrust and I
02:28would lose that aim for a second.
02:30My opponent would be taking advantage of that split second difference and winning the battle.
02:33These two, I have them to switch between the Lancer and the Gnasher.
02:37We designed this for the top players, but it actually allowed everybody to play better.
02:44Series one, we had two positions for the trigger.
02:47We actually added a third position here, the hair trigger.
02:51Yeah, so it's these little slide adjusters.
02:54So this is one of those little things that I was talking about where it actually matters how fast you
02:58can press the trigger.
03:00I know certain weapons in Halo, like the Plaza Pistol, helps a lot because you can just constantly spam it.
03:09One of my favorite features, you're actually able to adjust the tension to three different positions.
03:15It's a specially custom-made tool.

03:21So I just feel like the tension helps me aim a lot.
03:24A weapon like the batter rifle would benefit from that.
03:27When you go to the tightest tension, you actually go back to the 360 controller tension.
03:32The feedback that we get, we've given these to fans, both at E3 and Gamescom.
03:37We turn the tension back.
03:39We give them this thumbstick and you say, just feel this.
03:41Does it feel like the old 360?
03:42And there, it brings them back.
03:48All you have to do is click one button.
03:50So there's one, two, and three.
03:51When they're all off, the controller goes back to a default setting.
03:55I have a Rocket League profile and I have a Fortnite profile.
03:57A profile for Gears, a profile for Destiny.
04:00An MMO go-to.
04:01That'll have its own preset and I'll be good to go.
04:04So three custom, one default.
04:05I cannot imagine living without that nowadays, honestly.
