00:33I grew up with the Ninja Turtles. They were always really cool to just watch. They were always doing things
00:37that you wanted to do as a kid. You know, just go out like late at night and just beat
00:40up some bad guys. The artwork was awesome. The characters were cool. Mix that with random animals. Turtles.
00:50They're cool. They're universally attractive to viewers. The four of them together are very fun and they represent the themes
00:57of teamwork and brotherhood.
01:03Over the last 25 years, I mean, Turtles have changed so much. Some people like the comic book style. Some
01:09people like the movie style. And what we tried to do with this game is really kind of bring a
01:13lot of those styles together and make sure that all types of fans are happy with it.
01:17When you play the game, you feel that. You feel, hey, I used to love this. This is really fun.
01:22And the characters come out and you get excited and it all comes rushing back.
01:26When you start out the game, you'll see arcade mode right in the center. So the arcade mode is our
01:30centerpiece. We're using the comic book to basically tell the story in arcade mode.
01:34Turtles, come here. You are all to participate in a tournament.
01:38Comic book fans especially are going to love the arcade mode because it features art from the original artists for
01:46TMNT.
01:47We work with Peter Laird and Jim Lawson and Eric Talbert. And these guys have been drawing the comic book
01:52for over 25 years. These are the original guys.
01:55People who read their first comics will recognize it instantly. It's awesome.
01:59We tried to mix it up a little bit. We didn't want to just have straight fighting all the time.
02:03So we added a couple fun bonus games.
02:06Dodging kunais, which are ninja stars. Eat as many slices of pizza as you can. You can't have a turtle
02:12game without pizza.
02:14The unlockables for this game are awesome. We have all of the first comic book covers. We have a lot
02:20of concept art from this movie that was never made.
02:24This fourth Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, live action flick. And I think a lot of TMNT fans have not
02:29seen this stuff.
02:36Fans want to see their favorite characters.
02:38Obviously, you have to have Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael.
02:43We have the Turtles. We have Splinter and April. All the characters you'd expect to see in a Turtles game.
02:48But beyond that, we wanted to have characters that had really large contrasts in their styles.
02:53Guys like Fugitoid and Night Watcher. The darker side of Raphael. It's kind of his vigilante style.
02:59He just looks like a badass. He looks like a dark knight.
03:02He gave the praying character kind of an upgrade.
03:05Now it's the Otromanator. This big, kind of hulking robot with the brain in the middle.
03:10This will be easy.
03:11You gotta fight in the sewers. You gotta look out for the alligators.
03:17And, of course, fight Shredder in the end.
03:25When developing our roster rather than having a lot of characters that are very similar,
03:29we were focused on making each character unique.
03:32There are a few more characters, you know, surprises.
03:36Many people will be really excited when we reveal some of the new characters that we haven't shown yet.
03:46So the way that we're approaching this game is more of a brawler style game.
03:49We had free reign to do what we wanted.
03:51So we chose to go back to the old school and do like a big brawl style game.
03:55People just have fun and do crazy moves that knock you all over the place.
03:59And you just go crazy.
