SCOTTS FLY TO TENERIFE FOR JUST ONE DAY FOR THE ULTIMATE WATERPARK WITH PIX AND VID By Shuk Yee Tsang A Scottish comedian and his buddy flew nearly five hours to Tenerife just to spend a single day at a waterpark before heading straight home. Darren Dowling, 29, known as Dazza from Glasgow, made the whirlwind trip with his friend David, 34, after a spontaneous idea turned into reality. The pair boarded a 5:45 am flight in Scotland, UK and, after landing in Tenerife, headed straight to Siam Park to make the most of their limited time. After ticking off every attraction, they headed straight back to the airport, landing back in Prestwick later that same night. The unusual trip came down to one simple reason: banter. The decision itself was made on a whim.  Despite the distance, the trip was relatively cheap, costing around £140 per person. Darren said: “My pal David asked me if I wanted to go to Tenerife for a day, and I told him he was mad. Then, we firmly agreed we should go.  “We got off and jumped right into a taxi to the water park.  "We managed to get around ALL the rides in 4 hours. “We got back into Prestwick at about 11:30pm. It was a wild day.  “Banter. Just to see if we could! It was a very long day, so it’s not for the weak!  “We randomly decided we should go! Didn’t put much thought or effort into it, which makes it even more hilarious! Their partners, however, were less amused, especially after being kept in the dark. Darren said: “They were absolutely raging. They thought we were in Wales!  "They had no idea we were actually hundreds of miles away in a different country.” Viewers were divided, with one commenting: “5 hours there, 5 hours back is BRUTAL.” While another added: “I would 100% fly to Tenerife for 1 day in Siam Park!!” END

00:07Our day started at Glasgow Press Week Airport at 4am for a flight at 5.45am.

00:13We boarded our five-hour flight to Tenerife for our day out to Sian Park.

00:3415 minutes later, we arrive at Sian Park, which has been voted the best water park in the world for

02:28But before that, we'd go to even Mer food to do another cheeky food review.

02:32Once the food had digested, we jumped right back into the park and hit even Mer water rides.

02:40And then it was time to pack up and go home.

02:42So we got there at 11am and left at 3pm.

02:45So we spent five wheels on a plane in the way out, four wheels in the water park, and then

02:49spent another five wheels coming home.
