00:24We have 18 playable characters in Narnia DS, which is a huge number
00:28There will be no main characters that you won't be able to play as
00:31Even some special surprises such as being able to play as the hag in the werewolf
00:35As you meet new characters, they join up with you
00:38And there are even characters that you meet in the world that are Narnians
00:42That you can choose to help in a side quest
00:45And then they'll join your faction as well
00:47So among the 18 characters, each one falls in a certain classification
00:50Based on their characteristics
00:51And there are six different battle types in the game
00:54A slash attack, jab attack, a heavy slash attack, blunt attack, archery attack, and a magic attack
01:03As you progress through the game, you get a chance to upgrade those attacks
01:06So they become more complex, but they also do more damage
01:09We really wanted each attack to feel immersive
01:12So when you do a jab attack, you're jabbing at the DS
01:15When you do a blunt strike, you're striking down
01:18With the archer, you actually click on the bow, pull it down, aim at a target, and let go
01:24And then we wanted to extend the stylus to all other features
01:27So that you're not switching back and forth
01:29As you fight sort of the boss battles, they'll have special attacks and special combinations
01:34That you kind of have to figure out
01:35It kind of becomes a puzzle of how to attack them
01:37There's quest items, and there's items that help you upgrade
01:40But then there's also usable items
01:42And what we wanted to do here was make it like a separate spell casting system
01:48There are a lot of items in the game
01:50There's so many that it's fun to just sit and play with them in each battle
01:53It kind of makes the battle system even more exciting
01:56We also have three pets
01:57And the pets fulfill a special role in the battle party
02:00They kind of are the random element in the battle
02:03It's kind of fun to figure out who has these team-up attacks that you can do together
02:08Or they're meant to be kind of these over-the-top kind of attacks
02:12The characters in Narnia are compelling, especially the Pevensies
02:15The people can really relate to them
02:16And one thing that's kind of endearing about them is that
02:18Because they're kids, they're very adaptable
02:20And they just took it all in and said,
02:21Okay, we're in a magic world, let's go with it
02:23I mean, this is really cool
02:26My favorite character in the game is Wumbleweather
02:28Just because he's huge, and he's just awesome
02:31I like to think I relate to Reapercheap
02:34Because I like his sense of honor
02:36My favorite character is actually the hag
02:38Because for me, I like the creepy experience
02:41And the hag has a bit of creepiness to her
02:43Yeah, I'd have to say Caspian
02:45I do get told I look like him
02:47I don't see it personally
02:48But that's not to say I haven't had my fair share of Photoshop images
