03:27inspired by my past and my present you know where i came from meals my mother used to make me

03:34of where i've now come and the meals i have now well the first course shane will be starting now

03:41dessert sticky toffee pudding with homemade clotted cream ice cream this dessert is a definitely a safe
03:48option so be interesting to see whether he's added any twist to it first up the ice cream shane takes
03:55egg yolks add sugar and then whisks sticky toffee pudding should be served with maybe clotted cream
04:05and loads of caramel sauce into a pan goes milk then double cream this is about as liquid as martina's
04:13soup it's actually clotted cream but i do see the resemblance it's warmed then mixed with the egg yolks
04:20it may look like scrambled egg but this is scrambled pre-ice cream i assure you is it homemade ice
04:27cream though it most certainly is the eggy milky mixture is then sieved and left to cool
04:34gross feels like i'm cutting a pile of slugs more slimy than sticky surely for the sticky toffee
04:41pudding shane chops dates which are then added to water and bicarbonate of soda i have literally just
04:48now fallen in love with sticky toffee pudding i thought it scared me to try because it's not very
04:53pleasing looking you should see the ice cream butter and two types of brown sugar are mixed then
05:00everything is given a very very slow whisk it may look like it's going wrong but sometimes you've got
05:06to truly persevere in go flour baking powder and that too gets a whisk in go the sticky dates and

21:14i felt the dessert was too rich so i'm gonna score shane an eight tonight's atmosphere was great the food
21:22was really good i really enjoyed everything that was on offer the dessert was just a little bit heavy
21:29and that's the only negative thing that i can say so therefore i'm gonna be scoring shane a nine
