00:02It's a land's full dog crawler, 35 horsepower. I was building about 1935 or thereabout.
00:08Towned it years ago down at Woodside in the middle of the paddock down there.
00:12Just a wreck. We dragged it home and sat in the yard for a while.
00:16A bloke come in one day and said to Dad,
00:19well you'll never get that going, never ever.
00:21That stirred him up, so he got it going.
00:23But it didn't have much compression and so we finished up.
00:26We sent it away and got it re-bored and new piston put in it.
00:29Once it was all going, it was running like a new one.
00:32I went and restored it all then.
00:36My father, he started years ago.
00:39He was always keen on bulldogs.
00:41Popular through the war years because fuel was pretty hard to come by.
00:45So they used the land's bulldogs a lot then because they'd run on crude oil
00:49is what they ran on anyway.
00:51They come up at clearing sales occasionally and just word of mouth.
01:00You're right.
01:03I'm going to kill the ship out.
01:04I said I'm going to kill the ship more than what they did through.
01:06And if you need, you can turn into a short period of work.
01:06You're ready to say I'm going to go up with the ship.
01:06I said, I'm going to kill you now.
01:06By the way, go to the ship.
01:06I went to kill you now.
01:06I said I'm going to get a little bit of work.
01:07After you know, where you're going to kill me.
01:07I said I'm going to kill you now.
