00:12Ok, oggi voglio parlare di PVP, o player vs player, che è un grande parte dell'Age of Conan.
00:17Perché il ciò che ti faccio nel battlefield non solo ha un'impacto sull'amore, ma anche sull'amore del
00:23mondo.
00:24Il politico dell'Hyboria, so to speak.
00:26But first we're going to talk about PVP minigames. It's simply an easy way to get into PVP action right
00:32away.
00:32You just open up this GUI that you can see here, you search for a minigame, such as Team Annihilation,
00:38capture the flag,
00:39you click search and you're placed into a queue of players also searching for that minigame.
00:44Now, when there is enough players to start that minigame, you simply click yes, I want to jump into the
00:50minigame
00:50and you're automatically teleported into the middle of the action.
00:54So it's a simple and easy way to get straight into a PVP minigame.
00:57First we're going to take a look at Team Annihilation.
01:00And as you can see here, you have the red team and you have the blue team on the map
01:03down here.
01:04And they basically meet each other on the battlefield and try to kill off as many people on the opposing
01:09team as possible before the time runs out.
01:11Now, this is important. The stuff that you do on the battlefield has a direct impact on the character that
01:17you are developing.
01:18So when you're killing enemies, when you're protecting friends and when you're completing goals, you gain PVP experience.
01:25And by gaining PVP experience, you also gain PVP levels. And by gaining PVP levels, you gain PVP items, equipment
01:33such as weapons and armor that only good PVPers can use basically.
01:37Another part of Team Annihilation is the totem that you can see right here.
01:41Each team has a totem and as long as that totem is intact, your teammates can respawn when they die.
01:49So the other team will of course try and destroy your totem to end the game early.
01:53Now, another important PVP minigame is of course Capture the Flag or as we like to call it, Capture the
01:59Skull as you can see here.
02:01This is basic sort of stuff. You fight your way into the enemy's base or you hide or sneak your
02:09way into the enemy's base.
02:10You steal the flag, you run home to your own base and you double click on your own flag and
02:16you basically score a point for your team as you can see being done right here.
02:20Now, of course, we have many, many different locations for PVP minigames.
02:25You have for instance the Blood Ravine as you can see here, this outdoor area.
02:29And if I bring up the map now, you can see how this area looks right here.
02:34You have for instance, up north you have the red base and down below you have the blue base.
02:40And basically running between them you have this narrow valley filled with dark places and tall bushes and places where
02:46you can hide.
02:47And of course, every character in Age of Conan can hide. So you can sneak around and you can ambush
02:51people by star shooting at them as you can see here.
02:54And combined with Age of Conan's real time combat system, this makes for some really, really brutal, fast paced action.
03:01So it's much more like playing a game from Unreal Tournament or Counter Strike than playing a traditional MMO PVP
03:08minigame.
03:08Which makes, of course, everything a little bit more fun.
03:11Another location is the Lost Temple, this underground Indiana Jones like place with caves that you have to sneak through
03:18and pitfalls and rivers of lava that you have to avoid getting kicked into basically.
03:23A really dark and dangerous place for PVP.
03:25You also have the Hallowed Vault as you can see here, which is this labyrinth in the bowels of your
03:31labyrinth of underground passageways.
03:33Really easy to get lost in.
03:35But of course, I'll give you one little tip.
03:37You see these blood trails on the ground.
03:38If you follow those blood trails, you're probably going to end up in the other team's base.
03:42Of course, at the end of any PVP minigame, you get the scoreboard.
03:46You can see how many kills you had, how many points you scored and really measure your own actions up
03:52against other players.
03:52And of course, last but not least, I'm not going to say too much about this, but we have Siege
03:57Warfare.
03:58Guild against Guild.
03:59Dozens of players crushing together on the battlefield.
04:01Bringing down entire buildings and cities that players themselves have created.
04:06It's Braveheart meets Troy meets Kingdom of Heaven.
04:09It's something you have never seen before on this scale.
