00:00We are setting ourselves up for an unbelievable sweet 16 here.
00:04Iowa-Nebraska, a little bit of a downer.
00:05The rest of those games absolutely fire,
00:07and that starts right here with St. John's and Duke on Friday, 7-10 Eastern.
00:11A six-and-a-half-point favorite right now at live lines here for Duke.
00:15You see some seven, seven-and-a-halves in the marketplace, Joe,
00:18and a total of 142-and-a-half.
00:20Let's get it on, man.
00:21St. John's-Duke here.
00:22What are we looking at from a spread perspective, Joe,
00:25when we get there on Friday?
00:26Well, we're going to look at an absolute heavyweight fight, Donnie.
00:30This is going to be the rock fight of all rock fights here.
00:34But the problem is Duke is a much better offensive team than St. John's,
00:39and anybody who watched that game yesterday against Kansas knows.
00:42The problem is St. John's is going to play bully ball,
00:45and, yeah, Duke is going to be in for a battle here.
00:49I think there's a pretty good opportunity, Donnie,
00:52that the first one to maybe 65-70 wins this game.
00:57The problem is I don't know it's going to be as close as the Johnnies hope.
01:01The Johnnies got to make threes.
01:03That's their only path to winning this game.
01:06I just don't see them making enough of it for Duke.
01:09Another great one here, SEC versus the Big 12,
01:12a 10-10 start anticipated on Friday night.
01:15That's Tennessee, and it's Iowa State.
01:17That line opened up at three-and-a-half.
01:18Some outlets now as high as four-and-a-half points in the marketplace, Joe,
01:22in a total of 138-and-a-half.
01:24Tennessee and Iowa State.
01:26And the question also, Joe, are we getting back our superstar player
01:28for Iowa State in this game or not?
01:30Seemingly didn't matter against Kentucky.
01:32What's your spread line for this Friday night game?
01:34Yeah, Jefferson wasn't available for him yesterday.
01:37He was still in a walking boot.
01:39I don't know that he's going to be available for any time.
01:42But they're only traveling about five hours from Ames, Donnie.
01:44This game is in Chicago, right?
01:47So there is going to be a big contingent of Iowa State fans in this one.
01:52But Tennessee finally starting to live up to the hype here.
01:56They've got one of the best freshmen in the country.
02:00Virginia gave everything they had.
02:01It wasn't good enough.
02:03And listen, Iowa State, if they play the way they played against Kentucky,
02:08it's going to be tough here for Tennessee to get it done.
02:11I'm going to be interested to see where this money goes
02:14once we have a better understanding on whether Jefferson,
02:17their best player, is going for Iowa State or not.
02:20Now, the Friday night games, Joe, you know, 10-10 start, 9-45.
02:24I'm okay.
02:25It's the weekend here, even though some people still got to get up early on Saturdays.
02:28The Thursday night games, Joe, one game is going to start at 9-45,
02:31which you know means 10 o'clock.
02:32And the other one starts at 10-05, which you know means 10-20.
02:35Great basketball teams here that half the nation will be fast asleep
02:38before that game even starts.
02:40We have to make changes to that, no doubt about it.
02:45You know, defending national champions, we've, you know, in Division II,
02:49I was fortunate enough to win a national title,
02:52and then we actually got beat in the first round, which was pretty rough.
02:57But, you know, they got back to the one seed and had a spectacular season.
03:02They all had a respect for their program.
03:03As far as my guys go, you know, this is tough.
03:07You know, I mean, that's all it is.
03:08This is tough kids.
03:11They fight.
03:12They compete.
03:13You know, they stick with it.
03:15They just – they exemplify everything that we've wanted in Iowa basketball.
03:21They've established the foundation that we desperately needed
03:24and couldn't be any more proud of them.
03:27Obviously, a disappointing result for us tonight.
03:30Credit Iowa.
03:30I thought they played well, especially in the first half.
03:33Had us on our heels a little bit.
03:35I thought they were physically tougher than us in the first half
03:37and it took a little bit for us to regain our footing,
03:40and then they got off to a good start in the second half.
03:42And really proud of our guys and the way we fought.
03:46Obviously, came back and took the lead.
03:47Got up by as many as – I think we were up three or four at one point late in
03:53the second half.
03:54And just did a poor job executing on both ends in the last two minutes.
03:57I thought, you know, obviously on the last play we wanted to take a foul to prevent them from getting
04:03off a three,
04:04and they got away from us.
04:05We weren't able to take it, and they knocked it down.
04:08So credit to them for that.
04:09And just a tough way to go out.
04:11But really proud of my group.
04:12I love these guys.
04:13They did a great job for us all year, gaining the second one seed in a row.
04:18And a tough one for us to swallow.
04:20And, you know, we'll be thinking about this one for a while.
04:25Yeah, come on now.
04:26You can't be thanking the team there for getting dropped when you're one of the favorites to win the national
04:30championship.
04:30I get what he's saying.
04:31And also, foul, what do you mean they got away from you?
04:33Hack the guy and get to the free throw line, win that basketball game.
04:36But credit to Iowa.
04:37Knocked down that late three-point shot.
04:3873-72.
04:40Iowa, Joe.
04:40Moves on.
04:41Stunner.
04:43Yeah.
04:44Yeah.
04:45You can thank them all you want, Golden.
04:47But your approach to that game was awful on so many levels.
04:50You played, you allowed Iowa to dictate the pace and tempo and what was happening in that game, which is
04:58why you were behind early.
05:00And, oh, yeah, by the way, you got dragged into the mud by McCollum.
05:05He basically outcoached you is what he did.
05:08And, by the way, McCollum with the absolute greatest line of the tournament so far regarding the double technical fight
05:15and scrum in the first half.
05:17When they asked him about it on the sideline, he says, yeah, everyone just got a little bit sensitive over
05:22there.
05:22Meaning on Florida's side there, I thought it was the line of the tournament, Donnie.
05:27And, yeah, they were a little sensitive that Iowa was punching and Florida wasn't punching back.
05:33And, ultimately, they dragged you into the mud and you weren't able to get out of it.
05:37And that is why Iowa, a nine seed, is really, could it be the Cinderella of the tournament right now?
05:44By the way, Joe, we couldn't even make it out of the weekend with any perfect brackets out of millions
05:49and millions and millions of people.
05:51So, Cal, she's like, hey, we don't have to pay out a billion dollars for a perfect bracket.
05:54Nobody's ever going to do that here.
05:56And then there were none, it says, Joe.
05:58No perfect brackets remain here.
06:00Wah, wah, wah, wah.
06:03Yeah.
06:03Well, again, ten and a half point favorite is what Florida opened up with there against Iowa.
06:08A one versus nine seed.
06:10Oh, yeah, by the way, Donnie, they were playing in Tampa right in the backyard there with a place filled
06:16with nothing but Gator fans.
06:18Just a terrible, terrible coaching job by Golden there.
06:23But, hey, you know, live and learn.
06:25Congrats to Iowa.
06:26They deserved it.
06:27Let's bring up this field of 68 tweet here, Joe.
06:30We're betting men.
06:30We're handicappers here.
06:31If I would tell you right now, Joe, bet on this.
06:34Did it go in or did it not go in?
06:36I'm a betting man.
06:37I'm like, yeah, hell yeah, that went in.
06:38That shot's good here.
06:39Well, apparently it wasn't because Nebraska's moving on, 74 to 72 in their game against Vanderbilt.
06:44Husker Nation moving on.
06:46That's a tough tool to swallow where you're like, oh, so close for Vandy.
06:50Yeah, Donnie.
06:51Listen to anybody that has ever stepped foot on a golf course and needed to make a six-foot putt
06:58has had that exact same thing happen to them.
07:01How many times, Donnie, where you just watch the ball go around the hole and around the hole and there
07:06it is, and it doesn't drop.
07:08And that was exactly what that shot reminded me of.
07:13Gonzaga.
07:13Hey, fire mark few.
07:15We saw that going around here from a couple sports books.
07:17You know that's not going to happen.
07:18But Texas catching fire.
07:20Could it be, Joe?
07:21First four to final four as Texas moves on, knocking up the Zags, 74 to 68.
07:27Texas is that team, Donnie.
07:29We've seen it all the time in March Madness where they get hot at the right time.
07:34And that right time is inside the tournament.
07:36Don't forget, they had a play-in game.
07:38So, they have been rolling and playing.
07:41You know, winning is contagious.
07:43And right now, Texas, yeah, they're just tough enough and crazy enough maybe to pull off one more win here.
07:49Yeah, maybe if Kentucky had Coach Cal, they'd be moving on as well.
07:52Just like Arkansas and Acuffar, 94-88 over High Point.
07:56By the way, shout out High Point, man.
07:57Love that offensive structure they had, Joe.
07:59But they'll be moving on.
08:00And also, Sparty moving on with a victory over Louisville.
08:04Woo-hoo!
08:0516 on the horizon.
08:08Early's boys moving on.
08:09Cronin's boys going home.
08:11And probably Mick Cronin was upset.
08:12I cannot believe it.
08:13We're UCLA.
08:13We play on the West Coast.
08:15How did we wind up in Philadelphia?
08:16That's an unfair advantage.
08:17How could you ask us to possibly win this game in Philadelphia?
08:20Well, we asked you to do that and you didn't even come close.
08:2373 to 57 victory, Joe.
08:25A hammer job by UConn as they advance into the Sweet 16.
08:31Yeah, experience matters, right?
08:33And Caravan there with a monster effort.
08:37Much like Reed had the first game for him against Furman.
08:41And is there any more experience than what we are going on with UConn right now?
08:46I mean, they've kind of been overlooked here a little bit because they were a little shaky in games down
08:51the stretch this year.
08:52But, hey, the reality is UConn, the Big East, alive and well here along with the Johnnies should be very
08:59interesting, that East bracket, I think, over the next week.
09:04Yes, it should be.
09:05Let's head to the postgame pressers here because both of these coaches love themselves some microphones, Joe.
09:10You know, a program of UCLA's caliber, coached by, you know, not only Mick, who's one of the great coaches
09:15in the game, but just, you know, one of the best staffs too.
09:19And, you know, obviously we're fortunate, you know, that maybe their best player doesn't play in the game.
09:26And we get Silas back and obviously Silas gutted it out before he asked minute restriction.
09:32He was around, it was 20 and we went a little bit over that.
09:35But, you know, I just thought this game was all about, you know, Taras' workman-like performance.
09:40You know, Braylon, you know, stepping up, big-time performance as a freshman in a big spot.
09:46And then just the greatness of the man next to me, just the, you know, should be celebrated at all
09:52corners of the media.
09:54And I know he's going to start, look, he's getting uncomfortable right now.
09:58But, yeah, I mean, this man's greatness and what he's done in college basketball the four years.
10:02I mean, like literally every outlet should be doing a story on this man and just his career in college.
10:10No one's been better in college sports the last four years in terms of being a winner.
10:15So, thank you, Alex.
10:17Congrats to UConn.
10:18They were better than us tonight.
10:22Our guys gave the effort.
10:24We couldn't score the ball.
10:26Can't win.
10:27Can't score, can't win.
10:29That's a lot of their defense.
10:32So, you got to give them credit.
10:36And they get to play next week and we get to go home.
10:39So, let's get to midnight, so let's bang out some questions.
10:44Look at that.
10:45It's midnight.
10:46What are we doing at midnight here?
10:47Never should be midnight on the East Coast here when you just finish up a basketball game.
10:50But he's right, Joe.
10:51Can't score, can't win at this point, which brings us to our next game.
10:55Used to be can't score, can't win against Virginia's pack line defense.
10:58Apparently, you can score fairly easy against Virginia now.
11:0179-72 final.
11:02Tennessee without the extra E.
11:05Moving on into the next round, Joe.
11:07How do you like that?
11:09Yeah, you know, give Virginia credit.
11:11They hung around.
11:13I mean, Tennessee came out swinging first and Virginia made a nice run there in the second half.
11:18And it was, you know, back and forth.
11:20A couple of plays, one way or the other here, is really what the difference was.
11:25But this kid Gillespie here, who's had now 50 points in two games, you know, he had 29 against Miami
11:33of Ohio there in that opening game.
11:35And again, last night, he was just carried them.
11:39And I'm mad, too, the freshman.
11:42Tennessee's got everything you could.
11:44They got experience.
11:45They got one of the best freshmen in the country going.
11:48They got a lot going on for them.
11:50But, you know, the problem is Tennessee's history at Rick Barnes.
11:55At some point, you're waiting for the other shoe to drop here.
11:59And I think that's what everybody is.
12:00But great job against Virginia, and kudos to the ACC for at least making a run at it, as long
12:07as your name is not Duke, that is.
12:09There it is.
12:10Duke holding the crown here for the ACC with a championship try here.
12:12Let's go to the postgame press conference show and hear what the coaches were saying.
12:16Funniest thing I've ever been involved with.
12:18So we're going to run a play, but they got fouls to give.
12:22All right.
12:23And Bells comes up to me and says, run power, which is a high back screen pick and roll.
12:29So I walk away.
12:30I said, okay, power.
12:31I walk away and said, wait a second.
12:34He hasn't scored a bucket, and he wants to run a play for himself.
12:40And I'm thinking as I'm walking, I said, but he's Bells.
12:45And not only did he do it, he went with his right hand.
12:48So I'm real proud of him because to want the ball when you haven't made a shot is unbelievable.
12:55So both of these guys had major impact in us winning tonight.
12:59I'm so happy for St. John's and the fans.
13:02We had great fans out here.
13:03And we get to go to D.C.
13:06And I'm just so jubilant, so happy for the fellas.
13:11We've taken it another step now.
13:13So it's just awesome.
13:14Proud of our guys.
13:15And now it's just starting.
13:17The fun's just starting.
13:18The tournament is one thing that makes it so great is that it can be great, but it can also
13:23be cruel.
13:24And, you know, we obviously put ourselves in a position to play from behind the whole game
13:29and then really competed and played great down the stretch
13:33and just didn't finish what we had started down the stretch.
13:38But certainly disappointed, sad for our guys because they tried so hard.
13:44But, you know, just a tough afternoon.
13:54Questions for the students?
14:22If there's a lot of athletes here, then the rating should be sensational.
14:25I'm telling you, Joe, why are we starting these games like this at close to 10 o'clock or after
14:3010 o'clock at this point?
14:31Do we not want people watching great basketball?
14:35Help me out with this.
14:36Yeah, well, I mean, that's what happens when you got that side of the bracket out west there.
14:42And so that's going to be the problem, Donnie, that three-hour shift.
14:46But, listen, I can tell you right now, I don't care what that number is.
14:50Good luck sweating out and under between Arkansas and Arizona here.
14:55A-Cup is an absolute machine right now.
14:59It's going to be very good.
15:00And I know Arizona can play some defense, but I know Arkansas is not going to be playing any defense.
15:06And something tells me we're going to get a few points in that game there.
15:10And shout out to Utah State, who gave Arizona a run in that second half to come back and make
15:16it a game.
15:17But ultimately, you know, the Mountain West was not going to the Sweet 16.
15:21Who are we kidding?
15:22How about this one, Joe?
15:24Illinois going to tee it up against Houston.
15:26Three-seed, two-seed here.
15:27Exactly what we wanted.
15:28But, again, a midnight watch party that's going to start after 10 o'clock Eastern here,
15:33where most of the nation will be fast asleep when one of the best games is going to be played.
15:37Hey, Joe, why don't we play the Super Bowl at 1030 on Sunday night?
15:40That makes sense, doesn't it?
15:42Well, I'll give many ideas, Donnie, because that could very well take center stage there.
15:47But, listen, Houston doing exactly what we thought they would do.
15:52Illinois, by the way, doing exactly what we thought they were going to do here.
15:57This is going to be interesting here.
15:59The Big Ten has had a ton of success so far in the tournament.
16:04This is going to come down to whether or not Illinois can make enough shots against that Houston pressure defense.
16:11We're going to find out here, Donnie, but it feels like Houston's going to get anything they want inside the
16:17paint,
16:17and it feels like Illinois is going to be taking a few shots from the outside here to see if
16:22they can't upend
16:23what everyone thought was going to be Houston's bracket anyway.
16:27Why?
16:28Well, look at the Elite Eight, Donnie.
16:29I believe it's in, actually, Houston from that point on.
16:33And how about this?
16:34You know where you're going to get ratings?
16:36Placing a game on a Friday night at 7 o'clock and putting Duke on there versus St. John's.
16:42Fantastic stuff as this is going to line up, Joe.
16:44This game will be the marquee game of the weekend, and I demand this one will have the highest ratings
16:49of the weekend.
16:50Am I wrong, Joe?
16:50Am I wrong here?
16:52Oh, no.
16:53And it might also have the fewest points of any game this weekend, Donnie.
16:56I can tell you that.
16:57That is going to be a heavyweight fight to the end.
17:01And any time you have Patino on the sidelines at the Sweet 16, as an underdog, no less, it's going
17:07to be fun to watch.
17:09Some more blue blood is going to get it underway, Joe.
17:11Michigan State and UConn.
17:12That will be Friday, a late game at 945.
17:14But that's okay.
17:15It's Friday night.
17:16We're built to stay up late here for the weekend's year.
17:18135 and a half, Joe.
17:20Sounds like a rock fight to me as well.
17:22College basketball this week.
17:23Buckle up.
17:24We got you covered with the Sports Bridge Network.
17:28Come on, come on.
17:29It's fun.
17:29It's a Monday.
17:30It's the early line.
17:32It's how we do business here, Jeff.
17:33On Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, build up to the NCAA tournament.
17:37Still worrying about your brackets at this point.
17:39Well, let's see how they've done.
17:40Sonny, right side, Joe Winnery.
17:41And Kevin Walsh.
17:43For me, Kevin, Florida didn't make my Final Four.
17:45Where did Florida go for you this year, Kevin?
17:48Oh, I thought they could win the national championship this year, Donnie.
17:53And, I mean, I think they were capable of it.
17:57But, man, that was a disaster yesterday.
17:59And a lot of people were conflicted on Todd Golden saying the plan was to foul up to, send Iowa
18:08to the line.
18:09They can't beat us with a three.
18:11They're like, that's crazy.
18:12Who would do that?
18:13That's not the problem.
18:15The problem is that you somehow couldn't execute that game plan.
18:20Florida is the one who called the timeout, by the way, not Iowa, before that what would be game-winning
18:28shot, to set up a defense, to foul whoever caught the ball.
18:34And Bennett Sturtz, within one step of catching the basketball, had three Gators behind him.
18:43That's where they went wrong.
18:45Oh, it was bad.
18:48Yeah, and make your free throws, and then we wouldn't have had this problem.
18:52That would be the other thing.
18:54But I couldn't – just amazing to me that Golden allowed Iowa and McComb to dictate the pace and the
19:02style of that game from the opening tip there.
19:04They never once got Iowa uncomfortable or played Gator basketball.
19:10What happened to the transition game?
19:12What – nothing.
19:13It was – they got dragged into the mud, and they did exactly what Iowa wanted to do, and that's
19:19why Iowa won the game.
19:21They made more shots when it mattered the most.
19:23Yeah, I don't think you're wrong.
19:25I think Florida started to push in the second half, where they're like, whoa, why did we do that?
19:31But it's very hard to spot a team, a double-digit lead.
19:34Iowa's not awful, right?
19:36Iowa has, you know, some big wins within that conference, at least one over Nebraska, ironically enough, who now they'll
19:43play in the Sweet 16.
19:45I think for – you know, it's a Florida team who had the makings of a national champion, but they
19:52also can't shoot.
19:54Like, we know they can't shoot, so it's very interesting.
19:57I'm fascinated to see what decisions are made by a team full of juniors, because they could come back and
20:04open up around 5-1 to win a national championship next year.
20:08But every single Florida game is filled with Jimmy Dykes telling me that Thomas Houck's a lottery pick, which, again,
20:16I get it.
20:16But, like, all right, so I guess Tommy Houck's gone.
20:19We'll see.
20:21By the way, if you guys didn't know it there, Kevin, as a kid, used to walk across the street
20:25to Karnasek Arena, catch some of those St. John's games here.
20:28And now St. John's moving on to the Sweet 16, Kevin, going up against the Duke Blue Devils here.
20:33So I need the vibe and the temperature of Queens coming together for St. John's to take on the Duke
20:39Blue Devils.
20:40Yeah, I will just acknowledge a tweet from former, current, still friend of this program, John Rothstein, who said Dylan
20:47Darling will never pay for another drink in New York City.
20:51I'm pretty sure there are countless bars he will never be able to get entrance into.
20:57I think there's a handful of New Yorkers.
20:59If I say, do you know who made the shot on St. John's, they have absolutely no idea.
21:03I appreciate the sentiment, pal, but Dylan Darling's bar tab is far from settled just because St. John's to the
21:15Sweet 16.
21:16I do think it's fascinating, though, man, like all the analytics and metrics that they're supposed to have settled up
21:24for these things.
21:25Everyone was like, I cannot believe that St. John's is a five.
21:28They play a four-seeded Kansas team, three and a half point.
21:31They didn't even cover, which is funny enough, on a two-point win here.
21:36We'll see if St. John's can make shots.
21:38One guy was able to make threes, and it was Bryce Hopkins, who you wouldn't expect in the game against
21:43Kansas.
21:44If it went to overtime, it felt like the Jayhawks had all the momentum, but most of their guards spent
21:5137, no, maybe 35 minutes of that game,
21:56having no idea what they were doing other than Darren Peterson.
22:02Head-scratching across the board there, Kevin.
22:05The question is, I mean, somebody is Sweet 16 now.
22:09We got an 11 seed with Texas.
22:12Who's your favorite here?
22:13Is it still Duke?
22:14Who do you think can really win this thing now?
22:17I think for a while I have viewed Michigan as the best team, even like through, you know, picking Florida
22:25in a bracket.
22:26Some of that was just strategy, if you will, a little bit there.
22:31I think Michigan playing Alabama might be a nightmare for the rest of the country, because the scariest version of
22:39Michigan is one who scores 95 every game.
22:43I mean, they start with what, 85 against Bama and go from there?
22:48I mean, so the world where Michigan can just get on an absolute run surprises no one.
22:54I think the biggest question in that region is, what is the real Joshua Jefferson timeline?
23:01Is he actually going to possibly play against Tennessee, against the winner of Michigan, Alabama?
23:07Or is his tournament actually done, but we're going to Kawhi Leonard to this thing and ask about it before
23:12every game?
23:14Sweet 16 coming up here on Thursday.
23:16Elite 8 on the weekend.
23:17Great basketball lining up here.
23:19I love the fact, look, I need the majors in here.
23:21You're going to get some great ratings and some great basketball games at Moat here.
23:24Now's the time of the program.
23:25We like to reach out to the people and see what they have to say.
23:27Here's our favorite public poll.
23:36And it deals with the NCAA tournament.
23:38For me in Florida, I didn't even have them making the final four.
23:40So technically for a bracket, that's actually going to work out in my favor.
23:43You know who I did have win a championship listed?
23:45That's the Arizona Wildcats, who currently here, 38.5% live as the favorites at plus 330.
23:52Second place, Michigan.
23:54Third place here, other.
23:55And then also Duke listed here, Joe.
23:57Who do you have cutting down the Nets now?
24:00That Florida's out of it.
24:01Yeah, it's tough not to like Michigan here.
24:05But I think ultimately it's, I think Arizona has the best team.
24:11But I do think that Michigan is going to have an opportunity here to cut down the Nets and win
24:17a national championship.
24:20It's one of those two for me, Donnie.
24:22I just, I don't think Duke is going to overcome the injuries enough and eventually they're going to get caught.
24:28Let's flip it over to some Sweet 16 action, Joe.
24:31Friday night, 7, 10 p.m.
24:33St. John's taking on Duke.
24:36If we currently see Duke as the favorite, trading at 71% as a chance to win this basketball game,
24:41St. John's at 29%.
24:43If we include the total and the side, the side sitting at 6.5 points as a favorite for Duke,
24:48currently trading at 53%.
24:50And the total, 142.5, currently trading at exactly a 50% chance.
24:55Big time basketball game.
24:56Two Blue Bloods here meeting up on a Friday night, Joe.
25:00Well, the thing that stuck out to me about the Johnnies against Kansas was the amount of threes that they
25:06were willing to take.
25:07They were not trying to get inside on Kansas.
25:11And even if they did, it felt like they couldn't even hit the rim.
25:15So they're going to have to do the same thing here against Duke, though.
25:18And they're going to have to make some of those threes.
25:21I don't believe they're going to have any success getting into the paint here and at the rim against this
25:26Duke team, which means here come the threes.
25:29And if the Johnnies make enough, guess what?
25:32They are going to be very live in this game.
25:34But the problem is, I don't think they're going to make enough.
25:37In fact, I think this is a dead under, especially for the Johnnies here and their team total in this
25:44spot.
25:45Crowd's going to be into it here.
25:46I can't wait to watch that game.
25:47We're Friday night at 7 o'clock.
25:49Big ratings on deck here as we move along in the Sweet 16.
25:52Another game here as we take a look at Tennessee taking on Iowa State.
25:55Questions coming up are how good Iowa State are.
25:57Maybe they answered some of them in their last game without their best basketball player still putting on a show.
26:04Now they're going to take on Tennessee out of the SEC.
26:06But Iowa State currently trading, Joe, at a 62% chance to win this game.
26:10Tennessee at 38%.
26:12If we look at the side, Iowa State favored by 3.5 points, currently trading at 54%.
26:17Questions on ankle injuries.
26:19Do we need superstar players or not?
26:21Iowa State, Joe, is the favorite for this one.
26:24Yeah, listen.
26:25I mean, the key to this game, I think we can all agree, is Tennessee is not a good offensive
26:29team.
26:30But their strength of schedule had a lot to do with that, right?
26:34But they are going to have to figure out a way to get some points here.
26:38They also don't take a ton of threes.
26:41This is another one, Donnie, I think, as we move to different areas now, different courts, different sidelines.
26:47This is another one where I'd be looking to fade the total here, especially the Tennessee total,
26:54because we know Iowa State is better offensively, but they are going to make life difficult for Gillespie and Ament
27:02and others here.
27:03I think Iowa State wins, but I think they also hold this Tennessee offense under their point total in this
27:11spot.
27:12Yeah, in the round of 64, Jefferson went down very early in that game, didn't need him.
27:17They had an offensive explosion there, very easily handled their next game as well.
27:20So if he comes back, it's only an added benefit, maybe.
27:24They're saying, you know what?
27:25We might be able to win another game and keep it out.
27:27But it's nice that you don't go back-to-back.
27:28You have that weekend game, and then you're going to play again the next weekend.
27:31So we'll see if those five-day intervals here help Joshua Jefferson get back into that lineup.
