00:00American League champion, the favorite right now, trading at 22%.
00:03A lot of people high on them, and rightfully so.
00:05That's the Seattle Mariners.
00:06And then you take a look at the New York Yankees at 15%.
00:08Detroit at 13%, which is an interesting one.
00:11And then Boston at 12%.
00:12For me, Tom, I like Boston at 12% here.
00:15$100 investment pays back $834.
00:17But understand this.
00:18American League champion, not best record in the regular season.
00:22You got to get to the playoffs and get to the World Series, Tom.
00:24How are you thinking about that?
00:26I think where the number stands right now for this market, I think they're fair.
00:30Everyone's going to be looking at the Mariners and be like, okay, they took this first step last year,
00:33and now they kind of have that postseason experience.
00:36They can kind of push another step further this year.
00:39They have the pitch, and we know that.
00:40Last year, they traded for Josh Naylor.
00:42Will they be willing to make another move to kind of bolster their lineup yet again?
00:46I like the odds for Detroit because, you know, they made that first move getting Frambois.
00:50But knowing that Scoobble is approaching free agency, I still think that the Tigers need to play with urgency
00:56and need to be aggressive when it comes to the deadline.
00:59Knowing that this is potentially the last year with Scoobble, that they have to be willing to go all chips
01:03to the middle
01:04because if they don't, and Scoobble doesn't believe that they're doing enough to win,
01:07he will just leave in free agency.
01:08So there has to be a team-level urgency to show Scoobble that he wants to stay where they want
01:13him to stay
01:14because they're willing to be aggressive to get the wins and the players that they need.
01:18Yeah.
01:19Yeah.
