00:48So Digg's Nightcrawler, our hero, the lead detective, the bookworm, he's awesome
00:53You don't mess with him, he's always got something witty to say
00:56His comebacks are quick, and you gotta keep up
00:59There's something about his demeanor and the way he talks to you
01:02Self-amused, cruelty, that lets you know that he will outmatch you on any level
01:07On anything you try to do
01:08He'll get the girl, he'll get the gun, he'll plug you full of holes
01:12He'll solve the crime before you even get to say, huh?
01:15I'm gonna try to find Humpty's shell before these three little piggies try to blow my house down
01:20One important thing that we try to get across was the relationship between the player and Digg's
01:26Who's the kid?
01:27They're the kids with me
01:27You need to earn his trust, he's like the best gumshoe in all of Library City
01:31And you gotta prove yourself
01:32When you first get introduced to Digg's, he's kind of to himself, he doesn't want to be bothered
01:38What do you want, kid? Can't you see I'm busy?
01:40But throughout the game, he opens up to you and you begin to have like a relationship by the end
01:47of the game
01:47You done good, kid
01:49Film Noir was our starting point and it's kind of the bedrock of the experience
01:53Then we just started thinking about the detective movies that we really liked
01:56So Humphrey Bogart was usually the star of those
01:59We talked about how minimal his acting was
02:01And how he's always like in here
02:04You just feel like you don't, you don't mess with him
02:07He's always got something witty to say
02:09Get a grip, but not on me, Angel
02:11You don't need to know Film Noir to play Digg's Nightcrawler
02:14If you do, you'll see references in there
02:16Otherwise, it's a game with some really fun characters
