00:39In the beginning of the game, you're in the Hogwarts Library and you immediately meet this character, the Professor, who
00:46is hopefully like the best teacher you've ever had.
00:49So the book is put into five chapters and each chapter represents qualities of a wizard, so it could be
00:55importance of practice, any kind of attribute that a young wizard or witch would need to progress in a wizarding
01:01world.
01:04So once we had that kind of skeleton of these five chapters and a theme for each one, then we
01:11tied in four spells per chapter.
01:14So the first thing the player might do is learn the incantation for the Incendio spell, for example.
01:19So they have to repeat the words that are shown on screen.
01:22And then the next stage is to perform a gesture, which is a simple shape drawn with a move controller.
01:28And then they might go into a practice environment where they fight some magical creatures with this new spell.
01:34Once you've learnt those four spells, there's an end of chapter test, which will then test you on those spells.
01:39And that will take you through kind of many different areas that have tasks that require you to use all
01:43of the four spells that you've learnt in that chapter.
01:46When you first cast a spell, a spell effect appears on the end of your wand, so you can immediately
01:53tell what spell you have cast.
01:55So for example, the Aguamenti spell, which is the water spell, is a blue bubbling orb on the end of
02:02it.
02:03And when you pull the trigger of the motion controller, this orb turns into water spraying out from the end
02:09of the wand.
02:11You're also given backstories and histories to these spells, and they're played out within a paper theatre.
02:21I wanted something that was of the book, but was also quirky, funny, playful in itself.
02:31So I think what we've got now is, some people have described it as a reinvention of the book.
02:38It's the first time that we've put the magic wand in your hand, we've put the spell book in your
02:42hand, and you get to be the one casting all of these really iconic spells.
03:11So I think what you've done is, it's the first time that we've put an eye on the other side
03:14to make sure you are trying to figure out the different ways you can take the whole thing out.
03:14That means you have a nice piece of the character of the hand, but it's also a little bit of
03:14a different way that you can use your hands on the other side.
03:14And we're keeping sure your hands on the right hand is, and it's the next time you're just going to
03:14give the�� out of the heart and the right hand.
03:14And we're in the right hand is when you're in the right hand.
03:14And we're up to the right hand, but it's the right hand.
