00:10We knew that in the human revolution we wanted to have a conspiracy that would go all over the world
00:16So we will have the player traveling a lot
00:20We always talk about trying to build a game that is very immersive
00:24That creates a world that you feel like you're a part of it
00:27And the city hubs provide a lot of exploration possibilities
00:31There's apartments to get into, there's emails to read
00:34It's all about multi-path, multi-solution
00:36Everything that we were to build had to have different paths to get there
00:40It's kind of like you're free to explore and you're humongous
00:43And they have their own visual flavor, their own populace
00:47We spend a lot of energy on designing the fashion and the clothing design
00:50You have a variety of characters in there
00:53Who will give you bits of information here and there about the world, the city, the characters
00:58And some of them will offer you side quests
01:01I need someone to break into his apartment, sneak into DRB territory
01:05And finally go undercover posing as a hitman
01:08Everything in the human revolution is designed from the ground up
01:12There's something like over 1,300, 1,400 props in the game
01:16One of the visual directions I gave straight from the get-go was clutter
01:20Loads of crap everywhere dangling and piled on top of one another
01:23I wanted to have ads and billboards and stuff moving everywhere
01:28We created over a hundred different brands selling everything from cars to soda to jewelry
01:36This world feels crafted, it feels believable
01:39The analogy was to say that on the 20th century cars were king
01:46And on 21st century augmentations are king
01:49There's a very strong force in the city, Serif Industries
01:53That feels that these augmentations will propel the city to a new birth and a new prosperity
02:03We created a company called Pikus Communications
02:07That is the global leader in news and entertainment
02:10And we were looking for a place to put Pikus
02:13And we thought, well Montreal, Canada is one of the best places to put it
02:19This is Eliza Kassan, reporting to you live from Pikus
02:23Pikus's main broadcaster is Eliza Kassan
02:27She belivered the news to the four corners of the earth
02:30She's been the news, she has an opinion
02:34It is a city that is a two-tiered city
02:37This new initiative to turn the island of Hangzhou into this great center of life and a new city
02:45And one of those companies was Taeyong Medical
02:47Having the Taeyong Medical kind of augmentation
02:50It's hip, it's the kind of thing that people should want
02:53You feel that you're in a different world
02:56You feel that you're in a different world
03:05You feel that you're in a different world
03:11You feel that you're in a different world
