00:02Can you give us an outlook for the upcoming DLCs and feature in DCO?
00:08That's a pretty big question. So we do have a new DLC coming out in a little while. DLC 8,
00:15Sons of Trigon. So that'll be coming out.
00:17And we've already talked about a new power that's coming along with it called Celestial. So it's a new healer
00:23power that's very action oriented.
00:26So it's more like almost like a battle mage power. So it's something we haven't done before. So that's very
00:32interesting.
00:33We've also talked about DLC 9 at a high level, which will be a new Lantern storyline.
00:40So kind of like War of the Light. We're initially calling it War of the Light Part 1 is DLC
00:449.
00:44And it introduces more Lantern cores like Red and Blue and Mogo and Ranks.
00:51If you're familiar, for those that aren't, Mogo is a member of the Green Lantern core that's as big as
00:56the moon.
00:58And you'll actually travel to Mogo. And Ranks is about the same size.
01:03And he's a member of the Red Lantern core, which is a villainous core.
01:07And you'll get to travel to Ranks as well. So that'll be really interesting for 9.
01:12We've talked about 10, which we're currently calling Halls of Power.
01:17And it will be focused on our new League Hall system that'll introduce League Halls.
01:23Kind of like our player base system, but for leagues.
01:26Big spaces. Kind of like having your own Hall of Doom for your villainous group.
01:34or your own watchtower for your League of Heroes with a bunch of new systems that support league play
01:41and make leagues better and a lot more interesting than they are currently.
01:46So that's kind of the high level for at least our DLCs for the next several months.
01:52Well, we're going to do a lot.
01:55We've done several updates in the last six months that do focus on PvP.
02:01We will continue to focus all improvements in PvP to updates.
02:08Never more will we have DLC focused on PvP.
02:12But specifically, things that we'll be doing to improve PvP.
02:16First and foremost, we'll be adding leaderboards.
02:20With the release of DC on PlayStation 4,
02:26we're actually developing a companion app for iOS and Android
02:29that will benefit all of our players.
02:32So those on PC, all of our Procebian customers,
02:34you'll be able to get an app
02:36and you'll be able to see leaderboards first there
02:38and later on in the game.
02:41So that's such a fundamental component of PvP
02:43and we haven't had it.
02:45So that's the most important thing.
02:47And then beyond that, we'll be doing some...
02:49We'll be continuing to add new features,
02:52new Legends characters to Legends PvP
02:54and a lot more.
02:56Do you have any e-sports plans for DCO?
02:59We do.
03:00And for those of you who haven't seen it,
03:04we've actually had a tournament the last two years at SOE Live
03:08where we had, you know,
03:09several thousand dollar cash prize for the winners
03:11and it's a very entertaining game.
03:16I think it's fun to watch
03:17because it's particularly Legends PvP
03:19because you get to see Batman and Superman and Joker,
03:23all these really famous, iconic characters,
03:25do some pretty amazing things
03:28and there's a tremendous amount of skill involved in our game.
03:31Our combat system is very skill-driven
03:33and watching the best players in the world do things
03:36is pretty amazing.
03:37It's very, very skill-rewarding.
03:41So I think it lends itself to e-sports.
03:45We just need to finish things like leaderboards
03:47and some of those other things to make it really solid.
03:50But yes, there are plans for e-sports.
03:52What will the next DLC be?
03:55The one after Sons of Trigon.
03:57So the very next one is Sons of Trigon,
03:59which will be out in just a few weeks.
04:01The one after that we're currently calling War of the Light
04:04and that will feature Lantern powers.
04:08So really more focus on red and blue Lantern cores,
04:13but the others, green and yellow, will be there as well.
04:16Those powers, wind would be the easiest
04:18because we pretty much wouldn't have to show much.
04:23The others, well, we'll just have to wait and see.
04:27We went a long time without introducing any new powers,
04:30in part because it's very difficult to fit new powers on the PlayStation 3.
04:36We're making changes in the next few months
04:39to try to free up a little bit more space.
04:41We've already said that we're going to be introducing a new power with 9.
04:45I can't say what that is yet,
04:46so I'll just have to be coy and tease a little bit.
04:50But we're still in the process of finalizing that power now.
04:54So once we know what it is,
04:57we should be ready to talk about it before too long.
04:59As far as weapons are concerned,
05:01we do have some ideas for improving weapons,
05:06but actually committing to some of the specifics,
05:09I can't yet.
05:10So again, I'm going to have to just tease and not be very revealing.
05:13Again, another benefit of the PlayStation 4 development
05:16is that we're actually making a completely new UI system.
05:19I think that was a weakness in,
05:22or at least currently is a weakness in the game.
05:24So we'll be remaking all of our UIs.
05:27So as part of that,
05:29we'll be overhauling and just adding functionality improvements.
05:33But beyond that,
05:35I mentioned Halls of Power and our new League system
05:38that will be coming out around that time,
05:41around the DLC 10 timeframe,
05:42will make Leagues and League management
05:45just better, more fun,
05:47much stickier than it currently is.
05:49So there's going to be a lot of improvements
05:51and a lot of developments in the next few months on that front.
05:53Well, we always try to listen to the community
05:58and we play the game ourselves.
06:00So it really depends on community feedback
06:04because it's not like there's a consensus
06:07that, no, it was better before.
06:10I think it's something that we just have to kind of ponder
06:13and just continue to get feedback.
06:15and we do engage our community council.
06:18A lot of the developers at SOE Austin
06:21are active on the forums
06:24and try to engage our players
06:26and ask them for specific feedback.
06:28So we'll be on the lookout for that.
06:30I can't say that we'll necessarily change back,
06:32but if enough people do chime in
06:35and say they liked it the old way,
06:37let us know.
06:39Well, what brought me to the game
06:42is being a lifelong comic book fan.
06:45I collected comics when I was a kid.
06:47I still probably have 5,000 comics at home.
06:50So I know comics really well.
06:54And the game itself was the type of game
06:56that I enjoyed playing.
06:58I'm mostly a console gamer personally.
07:00So it being on PlayStation and PC was great.
07:03And the game itself was great.
07:06And the game itself was great.
