01:08Kevin Herter then it's Zeke Nagy and it's Ellis in at the two spot and for the Hornets Miller at

01:14three with Bridges at the four ball is joined in the backcourt by Knipple and it's Plumlee in at the
01:20five down low most of the season behind this Grant talk about the mindset for teams right now well
01:26if people tell you the standings don't affect the mindset VA they're lying everyone is asking
01:33themselves how they can improve or maintain position you just don't want to backslide now
01:40he finds a shooter in motion and is confident he can thread him with the lead pass well done
01:46and the shot falls short that time

04:04LaMelo has unlimited range and tremendous confidence and the visitors call time here
04:21and we have just about a half a season left here's our latest power rankings taking a look at san
04:27Antonio they slipped a bit still in the top 10 though when I look at this visiting team
04:32they're going the wrong way in these power rankings still in the middle but dropping
04:37and they need to search for a little extra motivation a nice shot by Mitchell looks like
04:43it could be a big night for him very strong start here in the first quarter
04:51first quarter of action just under three and a half minutes played he gets it in there
04:55and that's a big make for Knipple's confidence as the rookie develops he'll have to prove he has that

05:42they've settled in quickly today a nice flowing rhythm to their offense

06:50looking solid and even though they're down it's not on him he's been lights out on offense for them
06:57this quarter is special and Charles Lee wants to time out he's going to take a moment to give him
07:02a breather and talk things over
07:13and a look now at a few years worth of data some of the assist numbers under the microscope
07:18for LaMelo ball and over the years we've seen a drop in his assist average but i was talking to
07:24him recently and he told me he wants to try to move the ball a bit more i mean he's
07:29focused on improving
07:30that aspect of his game now here's Miller he's guarded closely the three sexton missed it now
07:42all for one on this game gone one of four from deep out to James the three and the rebound

07:51Charlotte you have to respect their ability to stay consistent away from home keeping their cool and
07:58making quality shots they took the air out of the crowd again and again with big shots they never
08:04let the fans become a factor well grant a wrist injury hampered brandon miller in year two good
08:10to have him back in action though yeah the number two pick in 2023 i mean the future
08:15still bright for miller and he'll have every opportunity to fulfill his immense potential

08:28Mitchell against sexton ball some solid defense from James had enough room to finish and that's
08:35one he'll usually make here's Mitchell and it's all tied up Mitchell's got 15 points and his fantastic
08:43performance from the last game has carried over to tonight he's just riding the wave of momentum right
08:49now getting to his spots and keeping things simple on the offensive side and let's swing it over to
08:55the sideline and hear from ally hey brian many have predicted an all-star future for brandon miller
09:01he said i don't really read anything like that i just focus on what i can do today it's all

35:50well over the break i listened to charles lee talk to his team he told them no time to celebrate

35:55work is not finished we've got to stick with it and keep growing what we've got here words of wisdom

36:06to pass now here in the fourth really left it alone that time ball's got 28 points for the game
36:11gotta fight harder to get over those screens yeah as soon as these guys feel contact they are just
36:17disappearing like they're not even there you gotta show some fire and keep defending charlotte leading

36:33shooting a great clip in the second half he made some nice adjustments in the locker room

36:43it's been a point of emphasis all night long but i love this hard-nosed attitude of this team
36:49they're also finding a lot of points tonight off a transition play running the floor and using the
36:54fast break to beat the defense that's good from bridges and we're about three minutes into the fourth now

37:09have to think that they're leading this game because of how they've controlled the boards tonight to the
37:14middle oh he's been flawless tonight now he's six for six saw the angles and led him right to the

37:31he buries it from three mitchell's got 42 in the game even if this game doesn't go their way he
