00:05So you can see here we have a full-size master bed here.

00:09All right, and here is the garage.

00:38Hey guys, this is Marco, Empty Parking Lot, and I'm here with Gage from Empty Parking

00:44Lot and LQM, and we're gonna do a tour of the van and come on board with us.

00:50So here's the cockpit of where we spent a majority of our time.

00:54Marco and I both do all of the driving for the Great White, which is the name of this bus.

01:01Up front we got the basic essentials.

01:03We got some emergency supplies down there, toilet paper, rags, whatever you need.

01:08We got some chargers, the much necessary hand sanitizer.

01:14The essentials also, Mountain Dew, Baja Blast, not sponsored, but Mountain Dew, if you see

01:21this, send us some stuff.

01:24More emergency toilet paper, and that's about it up front.

01:30It's very basic.

01:31It's a basic for transit.

01:34Really comfy up here.

01:36Yeah, and I'm the passenger princess here.

01:39Whenever Gage is tired, I'll take over, and he takes a nap.

01:44We have a, we have a bed, a custom-made bed in the back, so he'll usually just take a

01:49nap.

01:51And I got my, my trusty hydro flask, you know, you always want to stay hydrated.

02:00I love going to Love's, Love's is the best gas station.

02:04I, I frequent the bathroom breaks pretty frequently.

02:09This guy is the kaka king.

02:13I got that name for this trip.

02:16Yeah, I recently got my gallbladder removed, so I'm always, I'm always going.

02:21But, uh, yeah, for, for music, we almost never use the Bluetooth.

02:27We never use the speakers here, we just pop our AirPods in and just keep to ourselves.

02:32Uh, we got a lot of long drives.

02:34Uh, we did two nine-hour drives for this tour, um, so yeah, those get pretty tiring, so we

02:39just, sometimes we need our space from each other, and, you know, we watch YouTube or watch

02:45movies on our phones and stuff, and that way we, we stay sane, and we have a good time when

02:50it's, when it's time to play a show.

02:59That's where the fun is.

03:03This is the middle.

03:09Um, there's mostly, it's mostly, uh, Yasvan and I taking turns over here.

03:14Sometimes we'll switch out at the front whenever one of them is sleeping in the back, but,

03:17um, yeah, we have our jobs.

03:19We have, like, snack foodie, which is usually me because I'm next to the bin, and then, um,

03:25I try to keep the screen in here, like, floor, because sometimes they'll get dirty and icy.

03:29You can see there's kind of some stuff, but don't look at that because that's gross and

03:32nasty.

03:32Yes.

03:33Uh, we have bins here for, like, personal stuff.

03:35Personal bins.

03:36We have our shoe baskets.

03:38Yeah, shoe baskets.

03:38That's important.

03:39We have our snack basket, and the floor does get a little cold sometimes.

03:42It does.

03:43So we want to layer up in this car.

03:44Especially in the middle.

03:44So, we kind of have our bottle situation over here.

03:48We have our breads if we want to make a sandwich because we also have our, um, refrigeration

03:52down here.

03:53Um, we have some hand sanitizer.

03:55Just basic essentials, like, utensils and stuff.

03:57This is Gage's Mio because he, uh, stays on that.

04:00He stands by it.

04:02Um, we have a lot of fruit snacks that we go through.

04:05Um, and animal crackers, but we already ran through those.

04:08Um, so it's just basic essentials, you know, uh, keeps changing constantly.

04:12Yeah, and the ice water.

04:13The ice water, yes.

04:14Because it freezes overnight.

04:15So you get rid of it.

04:16The water in here at night, it does freeze.

04:18And some of our sodas as well.

04:20But it's, it's nice.

04:21It's just instant slushy.

04:23But that's our snack box.

04:24Um, this is our makeshift couch bed that was made by Gage.

04:29And we actually, well, most of, yeah, who did the...

04:32Yeah, so I guess we can switch over to the build series of this, this van.

04:37Uh, so it was purchased as just a straight up cargo van.

04:41Uh, and so for this tour, we had to do a lot of adjustments to make it livable.

04:45Uh, we can start with the walls and the ceiling.

04:48Uh, we've got a layer of thinsulate van insulation, van specific insulation up top.

04:53And then we have wood paneling over it to make it look a little nicer.

04:57We've got just a basic LED strip up top to give us some sort of lighting.

05:01Uh, as for the floor, uh, we have a basic insulation underneath, uh, and the subfloor on top.

05:07And then just vinyl flooring that is waterproof.

05:09This is where all the suitcases go.

05:11Uh, we have a little bed couch situation.

05:14We've got all the suitcases there.

05:17Uh, and the cool feature about this is it...

05:20Okay, uh, real quick, we'll showcase the...

05:29This cools out into, uh, a little bit bigger than a full-size bed.

05:34Uh, that way for the non-freezing nights, uh, we can put this and it sleeps too here.

05:42And then during day use, we just slide it in, and it becomes a couch again.

05:48So, that's our main source of comfort there.

05:52Um, and, yeah, we were able to store all of our personal belongings right underneath.

05:58So, it's really cool use of space here.

06:01Uh, it's not the greatest build that we have.

06:05Uh, we did this with no experience.

06:07Uh, Marco, me, Dan, uh, Jackson.

06:12And, uh, yeah, we just did our best with what we had.

06:16So, uh, if you want to come up here, we can show you one of the main artifacts or cool

06:23things about the build.

06:24Uh, so, of course, we've got our EcoFlow batteries for charging and keeping the fridge running.

06:29Uh, we do have our own fridge.

06:30We've got a Mr. Buddy portable heater.

06:33This keeps us a little bit, uh, warm during the nights.

06:36And then we have our vent fan up here, uh, to keep us, uh, ventilated.

06:42Yes.

06:42And so, you can see here, we have a full-size master bed here.

06:47Super cozy.

06:48It is raised.

06:49You can see how he raised it here, uh, just so we can store equipment underneath in what we call

06:54the garage.

06:55And so, this is a good space for sleeping, uh, during the night and taking naps along the trip.

07:02And, of course, we have curtains to shield the light.

07:06And a pigeon.

07:07We have the New York pigeon, the jelly cat.

07:32I don't really have a lot of time, so it's just there.

07:35But, yeah, that's, that's pretty much the entirety of the build on the inside.

07:39Alright, and here is the garage.

07:45So, touring bands, you have a lot of equipment.

07:48So, we built this little garage space back here to store everything that we have on tour.

07:54This includes a full drum set, all the hardware, two guitar amps, and four total guitars.

08:01Uh, and our merch also fits back here.

08:04So, we, we did raise it up.

08:07Most people put their beds down here, but we did install, uh, this 2x12 to raise our bed up enough

08:12to where we can fit a full, uh, bass drum and, uh, crate that we usually carry our hardware with.

08:19I think it's up to 30 inches of clearance up here, so we can easily slide in and out, uh,

08:25the equipment there.

08:26And, um, you can see the back side of the master bedroom here.

08:30Uh, we do have a basic inverter for power back here.

08:34Um, and then basic insulation, basic insulation.

08:38Here you can see the thin-slit insulation that helps us keep warm.

08:41That's around all of the walls in there.

08:44And, uh, yeah, we had two weeks to build this out.

08:49To make it livable for this tour.

08:51Uh, yeah, we were very limited on time.

08:53Gage is very much the crafty.

08:55He was the mastermind behind the whole build.

08:57No experience.

08:59We just kinda...

09:02I was, I was there for most of the time he was building it out, but my role was more

09:07of the moral support.

09:09Um, I mainly just sat there eating dominoes and stuff.

09:20I mean, not to say he doesn't help out with that too, but, uh, these things are beyond me.

09:26I don't, I'm not a handsy person at all.
