08:38Well, I mean, I think that the fun part is that we build them all in gray box, so it's
08:44all just a bunch of blocks.
08:45Like, they're not, there's no art or anything, like, so we just build them to sort of build the best
08:49layout, and we kind of have an idea of, oh, maybe this will be a bar, but then that allows
08:53us to, like, build it, and then we play it, a bunch of guys play it, and then at the
08:57end of the week we all get together and we say, hey, this wasn't fun, open up these sight lines,
09:02change this, change that, and so we would, each map took about three weeks to work on,
09:07and so, yeah, I mean, that was really fun to iterate on the process and sort of see these maps
09:13grow and change, and are you trying to distract me, Amazonia?

09:21that.

10:23And like what you talked about, Jake's answer was it was the strategy layer, not the part you're seeing right
10:30here, but the base management and all that.
10:32You might think that the nuances of all the tactical parts and all that might be the most tricky part.

15:03And so we sort of consider we've got this box full of G.I. Joe toys or aliens or Necromunda
15:10or War Machines for the hardcore out there.
15:13And we wanted to sort of give the player access to all of these toys and be able to play

15:17all of them.

16:23He can kind of scout out and think about what he's going to do.
16:26He can obviously see how much time is left on Jake's turn.

16:30And when something happens, when he moves across his line of sight or when Jake shoots him,
16:37then Amazonie's camera will snap to that to make sure that he sees what's going on.

18:14you're going to have access to, you know, almost everything in the game.

21:34because there is a lot of unpredictability in XCOM multiplayer.

23:34and have not figured out the controls, and it's very difficult.
23:38And so, you know, I was thinking, man, how are they going to do that?
23:40But the first time I tried it, I went, they pulled it off.

23:44Yeah, I mean, it's something we spent a lot of time on,
23:47is making sure that it worked with the gamepad.
23:49And the beauty of XCOM is that it's not...

23:52Because you're controlling, because it's turn-based,
23:54you control one unit at a time,
23:55there's not even that much, you know, to do in terms of mapping.
23:58So that gave us a lot of freedom to sort of map out the control of the way we wanted.
24:02And I do hope that we've seen that people are able to pick it up and play,
24:06and I think that's a really good sign.
24:08But, of course, mouse and keyboard,
24:09which we've just shown for the first time this weekend,
24:12like, that obviously feels very, very good
24:14and very, very familiar to people who played the original.
