00:06Here, at the edge of the universe,
00:09I look into the abyss and...
00:10Batman!
00:11Is that a new space suit?
00:15Well, we're back.
00:17I'm back, most importantly.
00:19And this time we've got all of your favorite
00:20Justice League superheroes, and we're battling
00:23Brainiac, and Joker,
00:25and all those other guys that I can't stand.
00:27Hello, Martian Manhunter!
00:30In Lego Batman 2,
00:31we kind of got to see some of your
00:34favorite DC superheroes
00:35join forces in Gotham to try
00:37and upset Lex Luthor and Joker,
00:39and now you get to see your favorite heroes and
00:41villains get together again, but this time on a
00:43much larger scale. We leave
00:46Gotham, and we even leave the boundaries
00:48of Earth. Whoa.
00:50I think Superman finds
00:51fighting crime in intergalactic territory
00:54not that big of a deal. The man
00:55has superpowers, he can fly, he's got super
00:58hair. I'll tell you what makes a great hero.
01:00toys. The money
01:02helps. I'm going to take him
01:04down old school!
01:06I am back. Any chance to play the Joker is
01:09a wonderful experience. Joker's
01:11like a 4th of July fireworks display.
01:13He's there, you can see everything that's
01:15going on. Lex kind of smolders.
01:18Lex keeps a lot of it inside,
01:19so in that sense, Lex
01:21and Joker are a really great team.
01:23It's interesting because Lego Batman is
01:25so different than just the normal Batman
01:27franchise. It still has the same characters
01:29at the core, but they're kind of
01:31exaggerated, and maybe the things
01:33that make them quirky are brought out more.
01:35Any defining characteristics that
01:37you know about how he kind of wisecracks
01:39all of that, all of that gets turned
01:41on. You know, we kind of teased
01:43fans in the last game that
01:45there was the broader DC Universe as part
01:47of Lego Batman, and we introduced some
01:49of the Justice League characters for the first
01:51time into the universe, and we really wanted
01:53to take that to the next level. So we
01:55have a huge cast of DC characters in this
01:57game, and a huge cast of voiceover
01:59actors to bring them to life, such as
02:01Fred Tattashore, Chris Smith, Josh
02:03Keaton, Mark Warden, Travis Willingham,
02:05Laura Bailey, Charlie Schlatter,
02:07Troy Baker, Dee Bradley Baker,
02:09Clancy Brown, Roger Craig Smith, and
02:11Adam West. They really are some of the
02:13most despicable individuals I've ever
02:15had the pleasure of working with.
02:19These guys are highly accomplished,
02:21and they're great improvisers,
02:23and so we'll just spark ideas
02:25off each other, and it becomes really
02:27collaborative that way. Each one of the voice
02:29performers that you have in this, they are
02:30top-tier voice actors.
02:33It really is a full performance that
02:35you're getting from this. It's not just
02:36fun. It's interesting, and it's as good
02:39a voice performance as you're going to get. I've
02:40always felt that I've been very
02:42fortunate. How many actors get a chance
02:45to create an iconic character
02:47that goes on and on, for Pete's
02:49sakes? And for me to have
02:51been part of this, it's
02:53rewarding. It's challenging,
02:55and it's fun.
02:56Lego is all about being
02:57fun, and what Lego does, especially with
03:00these franchises, you get a chance to look at
03:01something that's very familiar, something that you know
03:03inside and out, and look at it in a completely
03:06different way, and have fun with it.
