00:00trumps toxic and destructive agenda not someone who in need it thank you folks and now i'm honored
00:06to welcome the honorable jen coffee hello everyone i am former new hampshire state representative
00:12jen coffee and i am a retired nationally registered emt and i spent years working
00:18in the back of the ambulances and in intensive care units taking care of patients i know how
00:24important it is to provide care to every anyone who needs it as a breast cancer survivor who sold
00:32everything i owned including my car i still had to ration my life-saving treatments all while
00:39enduring the most painful to modern medicine crps complex pain syndrome i have a keen understanding
00:46of the impossible situations many great find themselves in they're struggling to cover
00:51medical bills while having to pay rent and put food on the table under the trump administration
00:57our health care system is regressing not improving as republican senators like joni ernst and lindsey
01:05graham support detrimental policies that make health care more expensive and harder to access
01:12for example the aca premium tax cuts those are critical to ensure that every american has access
01:18to health care but when it came time to extend them ernst and graham voted against it leading to higher
01:24health insurance premiums for around 50 000 granite staters people i love included that position may
01:32be out of touch with granite staters but it's right in line john sununu sununu has publicly called the
01:37aca premium tax cuts totally unnecessary tell that to the tens of thousands of new hampshire families who are
01:45seeing their insurance premium skyrocket or they've lost their coverage altogether because of it sununu
01:51also supports the medicaid cuts in trump's big ugly budget bill which isn't surprising given his record
01:59when he was in office he voted multiple times to cut medicaid and when granite staters voiced concerns
02:05about that cost he told them flat out stop complaining about health care quote unquote john sununu has a
02:13history of callousness towards his constituents but coziness when it comes to big pharma he voted against
02:20allowing medicare to negotiate for lower drug costs he voted against requiring companies to reveal drug
02:27risks in their advertisements and then when he lost re-election he got a multi high profile position
02:34he became executive vice president at a company that made millions of dollars consulting and lobbying
02:41for major pharmaceutical companies one firm sununu worked for partnered with a pharmaceutical
02:48manufacturer that was cited by the fda and the doj for failing to comply with good manufacturing processes
02:58another one lobbied for a company that paid over 200 million to center to uh to settle doctor kickbacks
03:05claims regarding hiv drugs which made medicare and medicaid spending millions in reimbursement
03:11payments the same company repeatedly hiked prices for life-saving hiv age drugs while a different
03:19company that sununu's firm lobbied for raised the prices of two cancer drugs by nearly eight percent
03:28of lives sununu blatant big farmer ties should be a concern for every granite stater new hampshire needs to
03:36elect a u.s senator who's committed to lowering health care costs not one who's beholden to big pharma
03:43but johnson new news record shows that if he's elected he'll focus on padding big pharma's profits
03:50it's up to granted staters to back a candidate who will work to lower drug costs and ensure health care
03:56is
03:56affordable and accessible for everyone while standing up to donald trump and corporate special interests i don't
04:04care about joanie arness or lindsey graham and it's insulting to ask voters in new hampshire to re-elect
04:11gop leaders who can't seem to prioritize actually making their constituents lives easier not harder
04:19thank you and i'd like to invite representative crystal lloyd to speak about how trump's terrorists
04:24are hurting credit staters
04:26you
