00:21There is a lot of exciting news out this week,
00:23including the massively anticipated Witcher 3 Wild Hunt,
00:27the release of House of Wolves for Destiny,
00:30new details on upcoming Xbox updates, and much more.
00:34How about we kick it off with the headlines?
00:37One of the number one questions I get from fans is,
00:40when will we see another white Xbox One?
00:44Well, for those of you in the US,
00:46this might be the news you've been waiting for.
00:48A white special edition Xbox One Halo The Master Chief Collection bundle
00:53is available for a limited time only.
00:55The Hapag Xbox One Digital TV Tuner released in the US and Canada this week,
01:01allowing Xbox One owners to view broadcast,
01:04over-the-air HD channels through their console.
01:07Simply connect an antenna to your digital tuner,
01:10plug that into a USB port on the back of your Xbox One,
01:14and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your channels.
01:18Better yet, you can stream TV from your Xbox One to your smart glass device,
01:23and still play games on your Xbox One.
01:26We also got a little glimpse into some of the new features being added to the Xbox app on Windows
01:3210.
01:33These updates include easier customization for your friends list,
01:37access to game hubs, hotkey customization for game DVR, and more.
01:41Now, as you know, we're working hard to bring game streaming from Xbox One to your PC.
01:47You can help us in a big way by using the new test streaming feature on the Xbox app for
01:52Windows 10.
01:53This feature will anonymously send performance data to the team so we can optimize game streaming when it releases.
01:59Now, this is super important to the team, so if you're running Windows 10 in preview,
02:04please take the time to run this test.
02:07Simply connect your Xbox One console to your Windows 10 PC using the Xbox app.
02:12Select your Xbox One console, then select Connect to pair the console to your PC.
02:18Once connected, click on Test Streaming to send our team diagnostic information.
02:24And now, for Out Now.
02:27Out Now on Xbox One is Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.
02:30This is CD Projekt Red's first attempt at creating a vast open world for the franchise,
02:36and I can attest to their incredible success.
02:39Now, at the risk of editorializing, I have not been pulled into a world this fast with this high a
02:45quality since Red Dead Redemption.
02:48Now, if you know me at all, that's about as high a praise as it gets.
02:51Even ancillary side quests are treated with incredible handcrafted detail and care.
02:57It is very impressive.

03:10The Destiny House of Wolves expansion is out now and here's what you need to know.
03:16First, it's got new story missions and a new strike mission called The Shadow Thief.
03:22Next, it features a new co-op mode called Prison of the Elders and a new PvP event called Trials
03:28of Osiris.
03:28Also, The Crucible has added new maps and better rewards.
03:33Last but not least, House of Wolves will feature all manner of brand new loot.
03:38Let the hunt begin.
03:47All right, serious question.
03:48Where are my farming fans at?

03:53Farming Simulator 15 has released on Xbox 360 and Xbox One this week.
03:58And while at first blush you may not expect this to be a cult hit, it made huge waves on
04:04PC.
04:04If you like simulator games and millions do, there's more here than meets the eye.
04:14Also out this week on ID and Xbox is Mega Coin Squad.
04:18Now this intense action platformer offers over the top arcade style action.
04:23Players can charge through a single player campaign mode or challenge opponents in several different multiplayer modes.
04:30Collecting the most coins is the name of the game.
04:33How you do that though is up to you.
04:36And now for a special Witcher 3 edition of Did You Know?
04:42The Witcher franchise has long been acclaimed for its native challenge.
04:46Every sword and science battle against a rabid pack of necrophages, ocrids, cursed ones, and hybrids is hard won as
04:53well it should be.
04:54If the franchise has taught fans anything, it's that a confident Witcher is a prepared one.
05:00So here are five quick but very useful tips that have really helped me.
05:06Number one.
05:07Did you know that if you have strong alcohol in your inventory when you meditate,
05:12all your potions, oils, and bombs will be fully replenished when you finish meditating?
05:20So use all those bombs and oils and potions and then meditate to replenish your stash.
05:26Your combat life will be much easier for it.
05:29Next, be sure to use your Witcher heightened senses anytime you're looting.
05:33If you hold left trigger, items you can interact with will glow gold.
05:38Gear, materials, and money are at such a premium in this game, and even humble crates can be filled with
05:44premium loot.
05:46Be thorough.
05:47Third, don't forget to check the bestiary before doing battle with different enemies.
05:53Every enemy has a set of weaknesses and taking advantage of them can swing a challenge from nightmarish to moderate
05:59in a hurry.
06:00Also, be on the lookout for books and notes that add valuable information to your bestiary.
06:06Next, fight with precision.
06:09Every sword strike and sign cast should be done deliberately.
06:13Unlike many other games, The Witcher 3 isn't afraid to have multiple enemies attack you simultaneously and in rapid succession.
06:20Use all your tools, dodge, roll, parry, and counterattack, as well as your signs such as Igni and Ard.
06:31Finally, explore.
06:32If you stick to the main quest, you'll not only miss out on some incredible gaming moments, but you'll also
06:38miss out on some valuable experience points which you'll need to level up.
06:42Okay, I lied.
06:43One last tip.
06:44If you've played the previous games, we highly recommend you begin playing Witcher 3 on at least the Blood and
06:50Broken Bones difficulty.
06:51That will provide the challenge you're accustomed to from the franchise and force you to really embrace all the sophistication
06:58of the game's various mechanics.
