00:44At every Friar World Tour events, we secure the venue with professional mountain team,
00:49mountain guides and patrollers, but the mountain risk is never zero.
00:53That's why, with Mamut & Reko, at the beginning of every season, we organize a safety workshop
00:58to improve the rider's skills and awareness about avalanches.
01:02And then we went up on the hill.
01:04They had buried a couple of transceivers for us
01:08where we didn't know where they were to go run a circuit
01:11and then we ran a whole scenario.
01:14I had one classic mistake that was a bit embarrassing.
01:17After we found the first victim, I put my beacon back in my pocket
01:21and it got hit back into send.
01:23Another good learning lesson to always double check.
01:26If you make some mistakes, you learn a lot.
01:28They realized the mistakes and I think
01:30maybe next time they will not make mistakes.
01:34And then afterwards we also got to learn about
01:37RECO rescue techniques.
01:39So it's like a secondary technique
01:41for switch and rescue and ski patrol teams to use.
01:47It's definitely super important to do every season
01:50safety workshop, no matter if you are a professional or not.
01:55like the more workshops you do, the more you know.
02:00I think it's just, it's good to have knowledge on the mountain
02:04and the more you train the better.
