00:15and she is pushing out. She's so comfortable in the steeps. She really is. You know, Chamonix
00:20riding is all about steep terrain. There's not that much free ride, but there is steep if you
00:25want it. And you can see Anna is so comfortable as she lines up this top cliff. Perfect control
00:31right over the board. Yeah, really bulking up the line score straight out of the start gate with two
00:36features immediately as Anna Martinez getting out to the rider's right side of this face where there
00:42are many more features just stacked up below her as she makes her way down through this absolutely
00:48gorgeous snow popping, landing with precision between those rocks. Yeah, it takes a lot of good
00:54inspection to be able to do that, to know exactly where you're going to be when you're on the face.
01:00A little bit of a pause there, but she was lining up something serious there as Anna Martinez now down
01:07into the lower section and just laying out these glorious soul turns in the powder field. There's,
01:14you know, it's the nice thing about the finals on the back and especially with three starts,
01:17there's so few tracks on the apron that everybody can ride pow down to the finish corral.
01:22That feels like a good reward for skiing, something as dangerous as the back.
01:26So Anna Martinez with a really strong line stacking up the features there and putting down a strong
01:33campaign for glory on the back of the rods. Michaela Davis-Mehan sitting in the hot seat.
01:39Anna Martinez now sharing a hug with her competitor as we take a look at this Hover Air line track,
01:45a really direct approach. Really direct, putting in some airs at the top that show her confidence
01:50above exposure. As we go back to look at Anna's run, this first cliff was really nice.
01:59Yeah, so you can see the line bar there from the video judge moving really high as Anna Martinez's run
02:06was just stacked with cliffs all the way down, taking her time to line up her trajectory. She had to
02:12land
02:12between those rocks. A little bit of a speed check there, maybe a tiny butt touch as the judges take
02:19all of that stuff into account.
02:21They certainly will. You know, you always have to match the terrain and how they ride into it and make
02:28sure those things are equal.
02:29But I bet they will dock her a little bit there for sure.
02:31Yeah, but the line score is definitely strong for Anna Martinez as she's now just, well, I mean, she's done
02:37her part.
02:38Michaela done her part. There's two riders to go in the finish as these two now just sharing a moment
02:43in the finish.
02:44And you can see these moments where you look back up of what you've done. That face is so imposing
02:49from below.
02:50It's so steep for such a long time.
