00:33co-op is that it all takes place
00:35in the same open world
00:37which is massive as the single player
00:39campaign which didn't happen
00:41in Far Cry 3, in Far Cry 3
00:43you had specific co-op
00:45areas that were kind of
00:47narrow and linear, this
00:49is completely open, you can do
00:51whatever you want basically, there are kind of
00:53specific missions that you can
00:55pick up but here
00:57as you can see, there's Nathan
00:59here's me, here's me in a car
01:02there's Nathan in a car in a sec
01:03here we're going to meet each other and we're going to crash
01:07they built you a whole massive world
01:09to play in and that was the best
01:11you could come up with, smash into each other
01:13gave me chicken, but this is what we discovered
01:16early on was going to be our main thing
01:18that we did, me driving, Nathan
01:19on a turret
01:21oh god this is exciting, and it's just driving
01:24around, you can just go anywhere, it's amazing
01:25this is perfect, you don't even need a mission
01:27this is just
01:29I mean Nathan has set a waypoint at this point
01:31you can see the GPS in the bottom left, we set a waypoint to one of the outposts
01:34so we figured we'd go and capture an outpost together
01:37but as you can imagine
01:38along the way
01:40lots of things happen
01:41distractions, it's a world full of distractions
01:43like this
01:44well this is the outpost
01:46this is the outpost now
01:47oh really?
01:47so we're going to drive through it
01:50skillfully
01:51look at my skillful driving
01:53and yeah, you can
01:55run over things, Nathan's there
01:57shooting stuff up with his turret machine gun

02:19I guess you can go away from each other as well

02:23yes, we didn't test how far away you could go

02:27I get on a gyrocopter
02:28and Nathan's still on the floor
02:30I don't think there's any restriction really

02:34I guess you're both just in the world

03:01your friends will be able to play this co-op with you
03:04it's up to 10 isn't it
03:05yeah, up 10 keys to Karat you get
03:07which means your friend can play
03:08co-op with you
03:09even if they don't own the game
03:10that's just mad
03:12imagine doing this
03:13this looks great
03:15I've got on a mortar now
03:16hooray
03:16but Nathan's found the last man

03:19and we've liberated the outpost
03:21undetected apparently
03:22I don't think that's quite right
03:24that seems incorrect
03:25also the outpost is now completely useless
03:28as it's riddled with fire and dead elephants
03:31but it's more of a headache than just an enemy outpost

03:34back on the jeep
03:35on the death jeep
03:37and off you go
03:37to the next adventure
03:40I mean the kind of stories you can create
03:42going around doing this stuff
03:44the kind of random things that happen in the world
03:46I mean you're constantly getting attacked by enemies
03:48or animals
03:50or here we go
03:51just along the road
03:52another jeep
03:53full of people to kill
03:55the great thing about
03:57Far Cry's
03:58sort of far reaching gameplay
04:00is that you can do
04:01sort of crazy stuff like this
04:02which is quite mad
04:03I mean the game is quite mad
04:04but I bet it really brings to life
04:07the stealth sections
04:08like you know
04:09of having one guy
04:10sort of up high
04:12maybe with a sniper rifle
04:13scouting out
04:13marking enemies
04:14another guy who's actually
04:16like infiltrating outposts
04:18and taking directions
04:19from the guy
04:20who's you know
04:21scouting like
04:22overwatch kind of stuff
04:23I wish we could show you
04:24that level of organisation
04:25in this video Dave
04:26but I think it's mainly
04:27going to be killing
04:27absolutely
04:28I mean
04:29killing is fun
04:30it's just
04:30I just thought stealthy
04:32I just think
04:32it's going to bring a new
04:33level of stealth
04:35that you can accomplish
04:36by having
04:36a friend
04:38who's on the map
04:38with you
04:39who can like
04:39watch it
04:40you know
04:40or set up traps
04:41and stuff
04:41and cover your back
04:42and I think that's going to be
04:44really really exciting
04:45it's going to be

04:50a gyrocopter
04:51is like one man

04:53can both of you
04:54sit on the same one

05:16are the fortresses
05:17which are
05:19essentially massive
05:20outposts
05:21but they're really
05:22difficult to take
05:23they're really heavily
05:24guarded
05:25and this is mine
05:27and Nath's
05:28quite bad attempt
05:28of trying to get one
05:29we found this secret
05:30little kind of cave
05:31entrance around the back
05:32because if you try
05:33and go in the front door
05:34you get absolutely
05:35annihilated by mortar fire
05:37there's guys patrolling
05:37the walls and they've
05:38got mortars
05:39so you kind of have to
05:40sneak around the back
05:41you go into this
05:41little underwater cave
05:43and we found a ladder
05:45leading directly up
05:46into the fortress
05:49this is wicked
05:49they have a little
05:50secret underground cave
05:51that's so cool
05:52I hope all the
05:53fortresses have stuff
05:53like that
05:54that's really really cool
05:55I mean Nath and I
05:56we only had an hour
05:57unfortunately
05:58that's my excuse
05:59to capture this stuff
06:01so we started off
06:02trying to be stealthy
06:03this is me at the moment

06:50kind of in a bad way
06:52so the idea really
06:54is you need to go around
06:55and stealthily take out
06:56all the alarms first
06:57because as soon as
06:58they see you
06:58one of them will go
06:59straight for the alarms
07:00and they'll call in
07:01reinforcements
07:02and that's when
07:02helicopters arrive
07:03and extra strong
07:06minigun wielding
07:08horrible nasty men
07:09arrive
07:11this is where
07:12I'd like to see
07:13Nath or you
07:14staying in the base
07:15and the other guy
07:16going out
07:16but it's all got a bit
07:17wrong now
07:18we decided we just
07:19shoot some people
07:21why not
07:21I think that's a fair

07:26of just running home
07:27get in the house

07:33to protect you
