Gameplay dal livestream Ubisoft, prima parte, per Far Cry 5.
Trascrizione
00:00In Montana, in the fictional county of Hope County, where a fanatical doomsday cult called the Project at Edith's Gate
00:06has overrun everything.
00:08They've kidnapped people, they've stolen all the land.
00:12The father, Joseph Seed, the leader of the cult, believes that the end of the world is coming.
00:17And so he's preparing his family for that inevitable collapse.
00:21It looks pretty peaceful right now.
00:23It is. Well, we're in Falls End, which is one of the communities, one of the towns in the game.
00:27It's just been liberated by Alex, who's playing the game.
00:31Shout out to Alex, everybody.
00:33In the Twitch chat, I want to see you throwing up the claps.
00:35Alex is over there. If he dies, give him a thumbs down.
00:37Yeah, you know, when we decided we want to bring Far Cry to America, there needs to be some level
00:43of believability.
00:44It needs to feel like the world is lived in.
00:46We'll walk around the house here showing a typical Americana.
00:50There's not a lot of people in the town right now because, like I said, they've all been kidnapped.
00:54That will bring down population.
00:56Yeah, it's up to the player to sort of bring the communities back, build a resistance, build an army to
01:03fight against the cult.
01:04Was it a tough decision for you guys to come to America?
01:06I don't think so. It's something that the team has really been wanting to do for a while.
01:11The question really was, what's a space that feels Far Cry-ish?
01:16You know, we've been to Karat. We've been to, you know, the islands in Far Cry 3.
01:22We've gone back in time.
01:23Yes, we have gone back in time to Primal.
01:25But I think, you know, trying to find a space that felt dangerous, a little bit unexplored.
01:30Sure.
01:31A place that feels like a wilderness, like a frontier.
01:35That really is Montana.
01:36You know, we sent a team up there to sort of do a little investigation, do some recon, and immediately
01:40they fell in love with it.
01:42They said, you know, the people, the landscape, everything sort of feels very remote and Far Cry-ish.
01:47And then it became, okay, well, what's a cool villain that could sort of...
01:50Well, that's what's fascinating for me, being a Far Cry fan, right, is the fact that I'm a fan of
01:54America as well.
01:55And I wanted you guys to do something here.
01:57But Far Cry doesn't work in Chicago.
01:59Yeah.
01:59You know, what are you going to skin in Chicago to make a wall in?
02:01It doesn't, you know, rats?
02:03That's not all we got.
02:03Not a lot of bears, not a lot of wolves are in Chicago.
02:06But the rats are pretty big in Chicago.
02:08Exactly, I know, I know.
02:09Shout out to Boomer. There he is.
02:11There he is. Good boy.
02:11I have a little flush of him right here.
02:13You don't see it yet, but I'm petting it.
02:15There it is. There it is.
02:16Talk about Boomer.
02:18I mean, like, you have so many...
02:20I don't think there's been a Far Cry that's had a pre-release run-up like this that's had so
02:25many characters already identifiable, right?
02:27Yeah.
02:27Yeah, I think Far Cry in the past, obviously, has been very...
02:30It's been known for its villains, right?
02:31Yeah, 100%.
02:32It's very much been about you versus a villain.
02:35This time around, we wanted to bring the community into the fold.
02:38Bring your friends, your allies, the people who are going to fight with you against this cult.
02:42How can we showcase them?
02:43You know, building people like Mary May, who owns the Spread Eagle, that we'll walk in.
02:48Has she thought about changing the name?
02:49Because it's a great name, but there's a connotation to it that I don't know.
02:53But the thing is, you know, it's that sort of, you know, the bar was named by her father,
02:59who, you know, wasn't maybe the most PC guy, a little bit, maybe a bit of a misogynist, a bit
03:04of an asshole.
03:04But the thing is, you know, you talk to Mary in the game, you get a bit more of her
03:07backstory.
03:08And I think, you know, for her, she's like, yeah, I hate the name of this bar.
03:11I think it's stupid.
03:12Nice.
03:12But at the same time, it's part of my dad.
03:14So that conflict of, like, you know, if I change the name, am I sort of getting rid of something?
03:18Yeah, exactly, exactly.
03:19It's, you know, people are complicated, people are complex.
03:21So that's her, wait, who's Casey Seagal?
03:23Casey Seagal is the cook of the Spread Eagle.
03:26Oh, you guys are the worst.
03:28So if you, oh, man, if Nick Scarpino was watching this, he'd be like, I'm just the cook.
03:33You know, Casey Seagal is a lowly, lowly cook.
03:34Casey will give you some recipes, he'll send you on some hunting missions, and he'll also drop some wisdom bombs.
03:40Does he talk?
03:41Does he do the I'm just the cook, the lowly, lowly cook line?
03:43Oh, he's just a cook.
03:44All right, but does he say it?
03:45I want him to say it at some point in this video.
03:47Don't ruin the whole thing.
03:48I've got to buy it, I've got to buy it.
03:49It doesn't matter if he says it, he's got the hair.
03:53So Mary's role is giving out quests, keeping you and grain.
03:56But she's one of your partners, too, yes?
03:58She's one of the members of the community.
04:01She's one of the community leaders.
04:02So the people that you meet in the game, they're all a member of the Resistance, right?
04:06They're all sort of trying to fight back against the cult.
04:08Mary, Pastor Jerome, they're sort of sending you out on quests to say, hey, people have been kidnapped,
04:12or we need these convoys taken down, or I need a truck, my dad's truck to pick them back.
04:18Then there's Guns for Hire that you'll meet as you explore the world.
04:21People like Grace Armstrong or Nick Rye, who you showed off in some of the...
04:25There's an interest between Resistance and Guns for Hire.
04:27The Guns for Hire are part of the Resistance, but the thing is, the Guns for Hire,
04:30they're going to be your persistent buddies throughout the world.
04:32So Mary and Jerome are always going to stick around and falls in.
04:35Drew, you shut up, Cam.
04:36Look who it is.
04:37It's Jerome Jeffries, everybody.
04:39Yeah, baby.
04:39Martin Roach, making the debut here.
04:41Yeah, baby.
04:42Testaments, wrath, fury, vengeance, we saw it all.
04:46That's you.
04:46You did that.
04:47But the heart is compassionate in you, too.
04:48That's a beautiful voice.
04:50I can't tell if Pastor Jerome would have made me go to church more or made me go to church
04:57less.
04:57If he created me with a shotgun at the door.
05:00He's not about making you go to church.
05:02He's just making you think about it.
05:03Okay, that's all he wants to do.
05:05Spiritual thing, shall we say.
05:07Where do we find Pastor right now?
05:09Where do you find one?
05:10This is his church.
05:11Yeah.
05:11This is his place.
05:13But unfortunately, as you can see, it's been devastated.
05:17Yeah.
05:17This place has been looted, desecrated, talented.
05:20Everybody's been kidnapped.
05:21So now he's at the place where he's fighting back.
05:23Okay.
05:23He didn't want to be here.
05:25This was the fight that was brought to him.
05:28How far do you go to get into that headspace, Martin?
05:30I mean, what is the back story for the Pastor?
05:33I fight that every day.
05:34Oh, God.
05:35No.
05:36I don't know.
05:37To get the back story for him, we go back, what, 20 years, I guess.
05:40Back to the first Gulf War.
05:42But he's a vet.
05:44Comes home, he wants to find some peace, find a place.
05:47A lot of vets don't find that.
05:49So he goes to a place where he can find it, the wide opens of Montana.
05:52And then here comes this cult, and they're slowly ripping it away.
05:55Sure.
05:55Ripping away his community.
05:57He's helped build his community.
05:58He's one of the leaders.
06:00He's not going to let it slip.
06:02Sure.
06:02He's going to be the guy that says, all right, I don't want to have to do this,
06:05but I will take up a gun again.
06:08I know how to do this.
06:10I don't want to, but I know how to, and I can help lead these people back to the real
06:14world.
06:15When we met Pastor Jerome in the trailer, right, that was one of the most powerful things,
06:20of him reading the Bible, pulling out the gun, and he had to go protect his flock.
06:24I like that a lot.
06:24Yeah, exactly.
06:25He's protecting his flock.
06:26The inspiration for the character, right, where we have Joseph Seed, we have a guy who's sort of taking religion,
06:32taking scripture, twisting it for his own, and warping the message.
06:36Sure.
06:36So, you know, we wanted to say, okay, well, we need the opposite of that.
06:40We need someone that's sort of a positive force of good.
06:44Here's the other side.
06:45Yeah.
06:46And I think, you know, when we look at a character and you say, okay, what are the complexities we
06:51can give to him?
06:53Having a man of God who, because of how far he's been pushed, says, you know what?
06:57I'm willing to sacrifice my own soul to save the people that I've been trying to look out for.
07:03Absolutely.
07:04To run back to the demons you ran away from is pretty cool.
07:06Yeah, exactly.
07:06That's cool.
07:06Is that fun to play?
07:07Oh, it's incredibly fun to play.
07:09Because you've got to dig.
07:11You've got to dig sometimes.
07:13Sometimes I say something, and I just hear Drew on the line go, okay, that's good, but I need to
07:19believe it more.
07:20Yeah, I need a little more.
07:21Dig a little deeper.
07:22Alex is fixated on this truck, and I have to say my eyes are drawn to it as well.
07:26The Widowmaker.
07:27The Widowmaker.
07:28Oh, now I like the bobblehead.
07:29A little boss bobblehead.
07:31Nice, nice, nice.
07:31I like the skirt that he's wearing.
07:32Of course, yeah.
07:35Yeah, bringing new vehicles into Far Cry 5, a big part of it.
07:38You know, it's America, right?
07:40We want big monster trucks.
07:42It's Far Cry, all right.
07:43It's still Far Cry.
07:44We talk about the pastor and his demons, and then the big rigs does a 360 after running it over
07:50the barricade.
07:50All right.
07:51That's the end of the factory at work.
07:53Yeah, so we see a bit of the cult up here.
07:55They're roaming the countryside.
07:56They're going into towns.
07:58They're taking people hostage and executing them.
08:01And Alex is going to take them out.
08:03Oh, he's going to throw some bait.
08:04So, I mean, this is just the kind of stuff, as you're exploring the world, you're meeting people.
08:07There's a bear that's now showing up.
08:10Is that a bear?
08:11Yeah, that's a bear.
08:11It's a bear.
08:12It's Far Cry.
08:13It's still very much Far Cry.
08:15Anything can happen.
08:15That would just be a rat in Chicago, so it makes sense, yeah, while you're running over here doing this.
08:20No, but, you know, as you explore the world, these are the sort of encounters that you're going to find.
08:23Nothing's sort of scripted.
08:25Everything's systemic.
08:26Well, I mean, that's always been the power of Far Cry.
08:28Right, right.
08:29I mean, it is the fact that you guys, I think, are, you know, make a sandbox game.
08:33You make sandbox games that are fun to play because that is the story.
08:37Yeah.
08:37We can all go off and do the same mission, the same objective, but we're all going to do it
08:40different ways and have different things on the way.
08:41Yeah, it's about giving the players all the tools to sort of really just go off and cause as much
08:45mayhem and havoc as they want.
08:47Right, right, right.
08:47Bummer just steal a gun for you?
08:48Nice.
08:48Dang right, you did.
08:49That's what Bummer's all about.
08:50Gives everybody the freedom.
08:51But, yeah, so the world, we wanted to focus on a more non-linear approach with the story this time.
08:58So we had talked to Mary May earlier who said, had mentioned that Nick Rye, who lives down the road,
09:02was having some trouble with the cult.
09:04Maybe you want to go check on him.
09:05We're not guiding the player this time around in terms of you've got to do this mission, then this mission,
09:09then this mission.
09:09Oh, so the objectives are just like in any order you want?
09:11Yeah, and the thing is, like, with Fall's End, you know, this could be one of the first places that
09:16you go to in the game.
09:17It could be one of the very last.
09:18Gotcha, gotcha.
09:18After the opening of the game, you're sort of dropped in the middle of the map.
09:21And you're just like, okay, just go.
09:22Go where you want.
09:23Go explore.
09:24Yeah, go figure out, build your resistance the way that you want to take down Joseph Seed and the cult.
09:30Interesting.
09:30So, like, there's no real way to be like, how far into the game are you right now?
09:34No, yeah.
09:34Because you can tackle this in any order.
09:35Interesting, interesting.
09:36Yeah, Nick's having a bit of a trouble at his airfield.
09:40The cult has come in here.
09:41Nick, Nick's wife is pregnant with child.
09:44Okay.
09:46She's a...
09:46Nick was the guy with the crop duster from the trailers, right?
09:49Yeah, exactly, exactly.
09:49So, he's got a plane, he's trying to figure out a way to get his family to safety, right?
09:56And in the cult, you know, like I said, Joseph Seed believes that every single soul in Hope County
10:02has to be put, has to be, to be a part of the cult, to be put into their bunkers,
10:07to save themselves from this collapse.
10:10The power of Gruber.
10:11A lot of people don't like being in the cult.
10:13Yeah.
10:13Oh, so we're going to fight back.
10:16There we go.
10:17So, we took care of that problem.
10:18I love what Boomer just did there.
10:20Goes up and takes the badass gun and brings it to you.
10:24That's just, ah, that's perfect.
10:26And there's Nick.
10:30So, then Nick is part of the resistance.
10:32Right, exactly.
10:33Just like Pastor, just like Mary.
10:35And the thing, you know, you do a couple quests for Nick, you prove that, you know, you're
10:40willing to fight for him, and he says, okay, you know what, I'm going to be on your side.
10:43I've got a plane, I'll be able to sort of take the skies and watch you back.
10:46Nice.
10:47But, for right now, Nick has his plan that he's going to fight back at the cult, you
10:52know, blow up some silos with a sort of store and some explosives.
10:55But, again, his wife is like, you're not going to stick your neck out there.
10:58That's too stupid.
10:59So, he talks to you and says, you know what, maybe you want to take care of that problem
11:02for me.
11:03Go fly my plane.
11:03Hold on.
11:04We got wolves.
11:05We got wolves.
11:05Wolves.
11:08Good job, Alex.
11:14There we go.
11:15Yep.
11:15So, there's Nick's plane, but I think for that, you might have got to do a little fishing.
11:21See, and this is one of the things you got, when I was talking before, you have such diverse
11:26landscapes, and now you have to come up with what kind of animals would be out here.
11:30Yeah, yeah.
11:30Fishing's brand new.
11:31Yep.
11:32What else do you have in terms of everything else that's happening?
11:34I mean, it's, you know, fishing, hunting, giving the player sort of, Far Cry's all about
11:39big action all the time, like insanity happening every minute.
11:42But, at the same time, when you talk about Montana, the wildlife.
11:46You know, we wanted to give the player the ability to sort of hang out in nature.
11:51Yeah, yeah.
11:51Have a good time.
11:52Something a little bit more relaxing than just murdering everything.
11:54Always killing everything.
11:55Worrying about what's going to get you from behind.
11:57So, we decided, you know, we're going to throw fishing.
11:59It's a big part of sort of the culture in Montana and the culture of, you know, just sort of
12:02that frontier lifestyle.
12:03It's a way to just come here and decompress, relax, talk it out with our friends.
12:06Yeah, and the thing is, the minute the fishing went in, everyone became obsessed about it.
12:10Oh, really?
12:10There's fishing tournaments back at the office.
12:12We've got a fishing tournament here at PAX.
12:14You know, people are trying to catch the biggest fish to win some of our, some of the flagpins.
12:18Yeah.
12:18And people are going nuts.
12:20Well, it's just, who doesn't love to fish?
12:22Yeah.
12:22Every now and then, you want to put down the stick of dynamite and pick up a fishing rod.
12:26Yeah, yeah, yeah, or throw the stick of dynamite in there to make it easier to get the fish.
12:31Dynamite in the net, we'll travel.
12:32While we chill out here on the riverbank, I've been past audience questions.
12:35Are you guys ready?
12:36Yeah, sure, sure, man.
12:37Drew, the first one's for you.
12:38Uh-oh.
12:38Bobby writes in and says, what inspired the team to do this one in the USA?
12:43You know, I think it, bringing Far Cry to the U.S. was something the team's been wanting
12:48to do for quite some time.
12:49Yeah.
12:49It just never, it always, the question came back to believability, right?
12:52Sure.
12:53Like, does it make sense, how could you set up Far Cry in the U.S.?
12:57So, I think it was probably around three or four years ago that it started in earnest.
13:01Okay, we're going to set up a Far Cry in the United States.
13:05And it just built from there, right?
13:08And I think that the sort of, the current times that we live in and the current state of
13:14things just, all of a sudden, Far Cry in the U.S. is way more believable than ever.
13:18Yeah, of course, right.
13:19There's definitely two sides of it everywhere now, you know what I mean?
13:23Was there, I mean, was Montana the first and only choice?
13:26Or what, did you guys toy around with the idea of a city?
13:29There were a couple of different ideas on where to take it.
13:31But, like I said, the minute the team went to Montana, this is it, this is it.
13:36So, there's some other ideas in the back pocket.
13:38But, you know, those went away real quick.
13:41Yeah, it really did.
13:43All right, Martin.
13:45V-I-R-A-G-O-X-V-535 writes in and says, is that your natural vocalization or did
13:51you rehearse
13:52to master a priest's tone?
13:53What do you think?
13:54That's my natural vocalization.
13:56It's actually, it is pretty close to my natural vocalization.
14:00You seem so happy and lucky.
14:00You're so happy and lucky right now.
14:02Yeah, right now.
14:02But basically this way.
14:04He's a big authoritarian.
14:06Yeah.
14:06I'm a father, so I've got to put on that kind of voice from time to time.
14:11Dad voice comes out.
14:12Oh, absolutely.
14:13You've got to lay it down.
14:14Yeah.
14:14And Pastor lays it down.
14:16How long have you been laying it down for with your kids?
14:18I've been laying it down for 18 years.
14:20Yeah, it's natural.
14:21That is a natural voice at this point.
14:23Yeah, you understand.
14:24I just do it.
14:25Yeah.
14:26And then for everybody, Lorem Gilepsi III writes in and says, do you prep for voice recording
14:33or I'm sorry, do you prep for voice recording with other actors?
14:35So is it an ensemble thing or is it mainly you guys alone?
14:39In the booth, it's usually just us alone.
14:41Okay.
14:42I'm in the booth and somebody's on the other side, maybe Drew, maybe somebody else, maybe
14:45he's in another city.
14:46So he has me say a line 18 million times.
14:50And scream like you're on fire.
14:51Exactly.
14:52Just scream like I'm on fire.
14:52I'll tell you when to stop.
14:54Exactly.
14:54Yeah, that's really an easy process.
14:57Yeah.
14:57But we work together when we go to the actual studio.
15:01Then I'm going to work with two or three actors at the same time.
15:03And it's kind of like doing a play in the studio.
15:07It's actually a really cool process.
15:09How do you guys capture and record everything?
15:13Are you doing it in booth but when you go somewhere in there together, are they doing
15:16the mo-cam face stuff?
15:17Yeah, so it's split between sort of like in the gameplay stuff.
15:20So what we saw when we saw Jerome earlier, that's all VO booth.
15:24That's Martin in the booth or just reading a list of lines.
15:26The cinematics then are all mo-capped, right?
15:28And we have our big mo-cap studio in Toronto where, you know, we suit everyone up in the
15:33mo-cap studio, the little balls, and put a giant vice headset on them.
15:37Really easy to act in, isn't it, Martin?
15:38And then, yeah, you say act natural.
15:40Very natural.
15:41You don't notice it.
15:43Hey, in your leotard right now, act like a big bad bastard.
15:46Exactly.
15:46Yes, in the leotard that tells no tales.
15:48You know what I'm saying?
15:49Okay.
15:50Here's this broom handle.
15:51It's a shotgun and go, Axe.
15:54And go.
15:55Really?
15:55Really?
15:57In that studio, what did we use for the Bible?
15:59It was a block of wooden plastic.
16:02A big block of wood.
16:02And they're like, no, no, this is it.
16:03This opens up.
16:04With a fake gun on the inside.
16:05Yeah.
16:05Well, yeah, everything, you know, we spent a lot of time, you know, props or sort of set
16:10pieces in the game making sure that there's stuff that the actors can interact with because
16:14they've got all this equipment on, the more things you can give to them that sort of use
16:17or imagination to pretend, the better the performance is going to be.
16:20I've got to bring this down.
16:21But it's got to, you know, because of all the cameras that you're in the space, everything
16:24sort of has to be like a wire version of it because the camera's got to sort of pick
16:28up all the data on where the audience is at any time.
16:31Final question before I let you guys stop fishing.
16:33Yeah.
16:33Do you do the voice recording separate?
16:37It's just, you know, Martin in a booth.
16:39Because of the fact he's communicating to me, the player, so I'm looking at him.
16:43Like, I feel like it makes sense when I think about it.
16:45Okay, yeah, of course, cinematics, it's ensemble, everybody.
16:47But when you're talking or giving me a mission, it's just me.
16:50Yeah, yeah.
16:50The player doesn't, the player has no voice this time around.
16:53You know, we wanted to be able to create a character that people really could sort of
16:56inhabit as their own avatar.
16:58So there is a lot of just sort of the actor just speaking to the character.
17:03To the character.
17:04And it's a writing challenge as well because, you know, trying to figure out how you're moving
17:07a story along or how you're moving a scene along.
17:09Sure.
17:09When there's really just one character driving it, that's been probably the biggest challenge
17:14that I've had.
17:15Okay.
17:16Here we go.
17:16It's tough to wrap that around your head and the booth, too.
17:19You're like, okay, what am I trying to do?
17:21Because usually when you're talking with somebody, you get it.
17:24But you're just like, what am I?
17:25Okay, no, no.
17:25I'm motivated.
17:26I'm telling him to do this.
17:27I'm asking him to do this.
17:28I'm begging.
17:30Do you like that challenge?
17:31Yeah.
17:32Yeah.
17:32I like any challenge.
17:34Anytime I'm uncomfortable, I'm pretty happy.
17:37You know, you don't know what's, oh, well, that's what we do.
17:40Yeah, yeah.
17:40You know, if I'm comfortable all the time, eh, I'm kind of bored.
17:44You're doing something, yeah.
17:45Yeah, yeah.
17:45That's true.
17:45That's smart.
17:46Then anybody could be doing it.
17:47Right.
17:47I want to be the only guy that should be doing it.
17:50How uncomfortable can I make you?
17:51All right, what's going on here, Drew?
17:54What's going on here?
17:55We're in a plane.
17:56Yeah, this is new.
17:57Next plane, yes.
17:58First time in Far Cry 5, or first time for Far Cry.
18:01Far Cry the series, right?
18:02The series, yes, exactly.
18:03We're bringing sky combat, big planes, jets.
18:08We've got this sort of seaplane here that Nick has given to us.
18:11It's got machine guns on it.
18:12It's got rockets.
18:13It's got, you can drop bombs on these little silos.
18:16Earlier on, we met Nick, and he was like, hey, go blow up these silos.
18:19My wife won't let me go fight the resistance.
18:21Or fight for the resistance.
18:22And so, yeah, again, it's sort of the structure of the game, right?
18:25Like, Nick told us that he had this quest for us,
18:27and we could have gone, you know, off exploring.
18:30The quest is sort of waiting for us to pick it up and go do it.
18:35It's also a great view of how different you guys have going in Montana right now.
18:39In this region, you know, it's a lot of farmland.
18:41It's a lot of typical stuff that you might see in sort of the countryside.
18:46But the topography is way different.
18:48Like, if you go to the north, you know, it's much more mountainous, much more forest.
18:51It feels more, gameplay-wise, feels maybe kind of more along the lines of, like, primal.
18:55It's a lot of hunting.
18:56It's a lot of shell.
18:59There's other regions that, you know.
19:00I'm sorry, what is this on the left?
19:01What is the level two?
19:02That is the resistance meter.
19:03So, again, because it's a non-linear game,
19:06we were trying to come up with a way with,
19:09how do I feel like I'm giving a progression to the game, right?
19:12So we said, okay, from the outset, you're trying to build up your resistance
19:16in each region that you find.
19:18So as you're meeting people like Mary and Pastor Jerome,
19:20you're doing quests for them, or you're taking an outpost,
19:22what you're doing is you're building your resistance.
19:24So more people are going to show up to fight on your side.
19:27You're going to have more access to new guns for hire to fight alongside you.
19:32And at the same time, the cult's going to start to react.
19:35That's how we're sort of inserting our bad guys this time around.
19:39Rather than saying, go play this story mission,
19:41and I'm going out, I'm clearing an outpost,
19:44and if that raises my resistance meter to a point where the cult notices me,
19:48now all of a sudden the bad guy's going,
19:49no, no, no, we're not having this.
19:51Interesting, okay, okay.
19:52They're going to show up and insert themselves into your story.
19:54Now, when I get the plane here,
19:56do I have access to it the rest of the game?
19:58Can I just run around and use it whenever I want to?
20:00Yeah, you could take this plane, fly all the way up to the north,
20:03hang out with some people up there.
20:04So does this completely change taking down outposts?
20:06Because I feel like now I can just come,
20:07if I want to stealth, if I want to do whatever.
20:09Yes, exactly, so you can take a plane around, you can bomb some guys.
20:11But the thing is, because there's a lot more interior space.
20:14This is all, yeah!
20:15You feel it too, Pex!
20:20So, but like, so I have a gameplay change of being able to shoot everything
20:25and blow it up, which seems awesome.
20:26But does the fact that water is a bigger part of it,
20:29that trees are a bigger part of it,
20:30is there more to it in that respect in terms of how to use the topography?
20:33Yeah, you know, I mean, when you get up to the north,
20:36where it's much more mountain, it's much more forest,
20:38you know, you're going to have a bit more harder time
20:40navigating with the plane, right?
20:41And trying to, like, all those guys are sort of, you know,
20:44hiding out on the bottom of the ground.
20:45You're going to have to get on your, get on your,
20:47get on the ground, you know, go a little more hand-to-hand,
20:51on-foot combat.
20:52But here, you know, we wanted to showcase the plane combat.
20:55We've got AI that are also flying around.
20:58This guy is one of the chosen.
21:00Okay, he's got a diet.
21:00The elite soldiers of the cult.
21:03They've been trained to defend the cult.
21:07So there's levels to the cult.
21:08The people I meet on the street aren't the chosen.
21:10This guy's super soldier.
21:11Exactly, so there's, like, there's cult followers that you'll find.
21:14Gotcha.
21:14But at the same time, there's chosen.
21:15There's special elite guys.
21:16As you progress through the game, as you build your resistance,
21:19the chosen are going to start showing up more and more.
21:20And they're much tougher, much more accurate.
21:22They've got a lot more tools to put this well, so thank you, though.
21:26And now you put them down on the baseball field.
21:30Gamescom demo, this is PAX.
21:31This game sucks.
21:33That's it.
21:34It doesn't even respect where it's at.
21:35I can't believe it.
21:37Oh, my God.
21:39There we go.
21:41That's how you take out the chosen.
21:42Nice job.
21:43Good job, Alex.
21:44We're very proud of you.
21:50Look at that.
21:54What's that?
22:00What's that?
22:01Shit.
22:02What's that?
22:02It was so cool.
22:02That's good.
