00:03Welcome to the third part of the Witcher Battle Arena video tutorial.
00:08In the last two episodes we covered some basic gameplay rules and ways of upgrading your hero.
00:14Today we will focus on equipment management.
00:17The Witcher Battle Arena is a MOBA game with some mechanics taken straight out of classic RPGs.
00:22You will be granted loot, you'll develop your heroes and upgrade their skills.
00:26After each match, the player is rewarded with a special chest filled with Nilfgaardian crowns and randomly generated valuable items,
00:33which you can use later on to make your hero stronger.
00:37Move to the characters tab from the main menu, and then pick the hero you want to upgrade.
00:43Immediately spend one point on item proficiency.
00:46You will now be able to use more advanced and better equipment.
00:50Without this extra point, you can only use basic items of the lowest tier.
00:54Tap on the chest icon.
00:56Here, you will find all of your equipment.
00:59It's important to mention that inventory is shared between all your heroes.
01:03It doesn't matter which one you pick, you'll always see the same equipment.
01:06Items that can be equipped by your selected hero are highlighted.
01:10Depending on the class, your hero can wear different kinds of equipment.
01:14Warriors can wear heavy armor, Rangers medium armor, and Mages light armor.
01:19Additionally, each hero has their dedicated unique armor, designed just for him or her.
01:24Items like belts, gloves, and boots have their own statistics which directly influence your selected hero.
01:30You can see the stats change as you equip the items. Green numbers show the new statistics.
01:35It's important to mention that skins and weapons have no influence on hero's statistics.
01:40Since you will be able to buy those with money, we wanted to be sure that there are no pay
01:44-to-win elements in our game.
01:46When playing the Witcher Battle Arena, you should remember that your hero has always two consumable items.
01:51A bomb and a potion.
01:53With time, you will earn different versions of those items.
01:57Depending on which you choose for your hero, they can have a completely different impact on the outcome of the

02:05Besides skins, equipment doesn't change your look.
02:08But it greatly influences how the hero performs on the battlefield.
