00:12David Sinclair back with more Battle Born and today we're focusing on incursion mode.
00:16Incursion mode is going to drop you right into the middle of the action into a volatile warzone
00:21which forces you to play equal parts offense and defense.
00:25The name of the game here is destroying the enemy team's sentries.
00:29But you're going to have to protect your own if you want to win.
00:32There's tons of tactics involved in winning in this mode and today we're going to be going through those
00:37and teaching you some tips and tricks on how to best battle it out in incursion mode.
00:44Today we're focusing on Arendi and her march towards victory here in incursion mode.
00:50There's plenty of tactics involved including building tactical structures like turrets, healing stations,
00:56and accelerators, super minions, and even getting some thrall involved on your side.
01:01But first things first, what you need to focus on first and foremost is pushing your minions in the lane.
01:08Once you've pushed your minions far enough in the lane they will attack the enemy team's sentry gun
01:13bringing down that shield and allowing for your team to do ultimate damage to that sentry gun
01:19ideally destroying it and moving on to the next objective.
01:22This may sound like an easy task but it's absolutely not.
01:25On the other side of the map is a full team of enemy battleborn looking to push you back and
01:31destroy your sentry guns as well.
01:33So let's talk about some of the buildable tactical structures which will be at your disposal in incursion mode
01:39which will help you get the upper hand on the enemy team.
01:42There's four buildable structures at your disposal in incursion and from my time playing
01:47I found the most useful to push your lanes, push those minions, and get the advantage on the other team
01:53is building those automatic turrets. Turrets have different types of offensive armaments
01:58and will attack any foe in sight, enemy minions and battleborn alike.
02:03If you find yourself getting owned by the enemy team you're going to want to buy a healing station.
02:08You're going to find this at the back towards your base and this station will regenerate health over time
02:13to any of your teammates that stand near it.
02:15Once you have the upper hand and you want to push that advantage you want to buy into an accelerator.
02:22Accelerators give a speed boost to friendly battleborn and minions when passing next to them
02:26and this will allow you to push the lane with dominant force.
02:30And last but not least, if the turrets, healing station, and accelerators aren't enough
02:34you can purchase a super minion.
02:37Super minions can be purchased in the team's base and are well worth the shards.
02:41Their ability to sustain and deal more damage than other minions adds additional firepower to your team.
02:46And if that's not enough to dominate your enemy, there's one more trick up your sleeve here in Incursion.
02:53You can hire mercenaries.
02:56Mercenary thralls lurk on the sides of the map.
02:59To recruit them to your cause, find them, kill them, capture the point,
03:04and then you will have mercenary thrall on your side when you're pushing the lanes.
03:07These thralls deal a ton of damage but they also absorb a ton of damage.
03:12So make sure you watch out for the enemy thralls on the map and you're always recruiting them to fight
03:18for your side.
