00:21Before we go any further, this is how you check whether you have this issue or not.
00:27Press CTRL, press SHIFT, press ESCAPE at the same time on your keyboard.
00:34Then the task manager will come out.
00:37You will see processes, performance, peer on processes.
00:42If your disk shows 50% or 100%, this is how you are going to fix it.
00:49Fix 1. Disable system system.
00:53This is the most common cause of this issue.
00:56You press Windows button, press R at the same time on your keyboard.
01:01Then you will see this on your screen.
01:04Then you will write there the word SERVICE MSC and you press ENTER.
01:12If your computer shows like this, there is another way how you can do it.
01:17You come here at Windows search bar and you type SERVICE.
01:22Then you will see here, SERVICE SYSTEM.
01:25You click on it.
01:26You will reach here.
01:28After reaching here, scroll down and look for SYSTEM.
01:32It is here.
01:33You double click on it.
01:35After double clicking on it, you will see startup type.
01:39It is in automatic.
01:42Then you change it to disable.
01:44And you click APPLY and OK.
01:49Fix 2.
01:50Disable Windows search indexing.
01:52This is how you can do it.
01:54Go to the search bar and search SERVICE.
01:58You see here, SERVICE SYSTEM.
02:00Open it.
02:01After reaching here, scroll down and look for Windows search.
02:08It is here.
02:09You double click on it.
02:11Go to startup type.
02:12It is in automatic.
02:14And change it to disable.
02:17Apply.
02:18Then OK.
02:20Fix 3.
02:21Run disk check.
02:22By this I mean repair drive errors.
02:26You go to search bar.
02:28Type CMD.
02:30You see CMD PROCT SYSTEM.
02:34You go here.
02:35Run as administrator.
02:38You click on it.
02:39You will ask you, do you want to allow you to say yes?
02:43After reaching here, you type CHKDSK
02:51space slash F space slash R.
02:58Then you press ENTER.
03:01Can't run because the volume is in use by another process.
03:06Here you type Y.
03:08By typing Y, it means yes.
03:11This volume will be checked in the next time the system restarts.
03:18After restarting your computer, everything will be all right.
03:23Fix 4.
03:24Disable Windows startup programs.
03:27Sometimes there might be some apps which cause heavy overload on your computer system.
03:35By pressing CTRL plus SHIFT plus ESCAPE, you will see processes, performance.
03:44Then you go down here, startup apps.
03:48Right click on it.
03:49After reaching here, disable all that are enabled.
03:55Let's go to fix 5.
03:57In fix 5, we are going to check Windows updates.
04:01Sometimes Windows updates may cause this issue.
04:05Go to search bar.
04:07Check for updates.
04:08You will see it here.
04:10System settings.
04:12Check for updates.
04:14You click on it.
04:15If you find pending updates here, install them all immediately.
04:21On my operating system, I have some updates.
04:25You will see it is saying download and install them.
04:30Then I click on it and I install.
04:34Fix 6.
04:35If you are using an HHD drive, 100% disk usage is very common with these kind of drives.
04:43Especially if you are using 5,400 RPM laptop drives or if you are using raw RAM system.
04:54Here is my tip.
04:56Update to a SSD drive and update your RAM.
05:00This will dramatically conquer the issue of speed in your computer.
05:06I want to finish this video.
05:07But before I finish it, I want you and me to know what causes this issue.
05:12It is because of background catching overload and search indexing overload.
05:19Sometimes because of system error.
05:22After applying all these fixes, go back to the search bar.
05:26Type check for update.
05:30Up here you will see, check for updates.
05:34System settings.
05:36Right click on it.
05:37It will direct us to Windows update.
05:40Remember I had already installed the updates we are given to me.
05:46You click on restart now.
05:48If your disk have been showing 100% and now it is showing 10-20%.
