00:05We've been working on it for three years
00:07You keep your baby quiet, you keep everything tight and focused
00:12We spent so many days and nights dreaming about how the game would unfold
00:18What the reception would be
00:19And finally, one, being able to show it
00:22And two, seeing how much love we got from all the gamers out there
00:25That was fantastic
00:29So, we're here today to answer some of the questions from the fans
00:45So, our narrative system is trying to support that open tactical choice in the massive open world
00:51So, as such, we've made this complete story non-linear
00:55So, the players can attack different situations in any order that they want to
01:00We have a system that's based around destabilizing the cartel
01:04Causing a lot of chaos in the world
01:06And everything that you do in the world is in support of that main narrative
01:09What's exciting is the chain of consequences
01:13You know, I mean, we've all seen the movies
01:14We've all heard about the stories
01:16About how a small team of strong men can all of a sudden be the little cog that changes the
01:24whole structure
01:24What we've tried to do is give players an end objective
01:27And then leave it up to them about how they achieve that objective
01:30So, if I take an example of a camp where I need to retrieve a piece of intel
01:34I have a lot of different options available to me
01:36I could raise the rebellion and go in guns blazing, mortar strikes, and lots of heavy artillery
01:42Or, I could take this more stealthy option, the other end of the spectrum
01:46We could go take a helicopter, a group of us, recon the site from a distance to know where the
01:51enemy placements are
01:52We could base jump in silently behind enemy lines, moving stealthily
01:56With our night vision goggles, we can see everything
01:58Their visibility is reduced, so it's much easier for us to move through the camp
02:02We retrieve the intel and we leave
02:04Without killing anybody and without raising any alarms
02:06However, the only people who have the answer of how the missions are going to work
02:10It's you guys, the day you're going to put your hands on that game
02:18Open World is the answer to tactical
02:20With this game, you have access to the choice of the gear, the location, the time of the day
02:28This allows us to give the players the chance to go anywhere, to really open up those tactical choices
02:34And to play the way they want and write the stories they want
02:41The rule is very simple
02:43We've built the game with always four characters at the same time
02:47So if you're alone, you're going to have three EIs
02:50If you're playing with one buddy, you're going to have two EIs, etc.
02:58We made the choice to go with a third person camera
03:00To be able to explore and fully accept what's going on around you
03:04To be able to intercept threats as they come at you from 360 degrees
03:08So the player needs to be able to understand this and be able to react to it in real time
03:11We also have a hybrid gameplay whereby you can switch to iron sights
03:16You're going to go into first person mode for that fast reactive gameplay
03:23It's a very smart AI
03:25It's an AI that genuinely, if you're not paying attention to what's going on
03:31You're just going to get killed basically
03:33There's an AI that's going to flank you
03:35It's going to use opportunities
03:37It's going to use vehicles and camp ingredients
03:40It's going to use things that are happening in the environment
03:42We've got traffic and event systems that are also spawning gameplay elements
03:46But we've seen AI grab traffic vehicles and come chase you
03:50They'll adapt to any situation that's going on
03:53So you're going to have to be careful in this one
04:01Authenticity is really a pillar of the brand
04:03It's something that people have come to expect
04:04We are working with the experts that we have inside the group
04:06So we are working with RedStorm and the UB Authenticity team

04:20We have a ton of different vehicles
04:22Different vehicle options
04:23Sea, air and land
04:24So we're going to have boats and bikes
04:26We're going to have buggies
04:29We want to make sure that the players have the total freedom of choice
04:36Customization has always been a core part of the brand
04:39In GhostRecount
04:41So we want to make sure that players can really become that ghost
04:44You're going to have a lot of opportunity to change your physical makeup
04:48As well as the kind of outfits, the clothes you're wearing
04:51The equipment you're going to bring into the field
04:53It's going to give you new tactical options
04:55Whether they're distractions like flares
04:56Whether they're mines, C4 grenades
04:58But also different weapon types
05:00That can be augmented with a multitude of different attachments
05:04You'll be able to deploy the power of Gunsmith
05:07To the other components of the game
05:09And I can't wait to see what are the combinations that we're going to see on the battleground
05:16The next steps for us is to finish the game
05:19We're all really excited
05:20What we want is to deliver the best game possible
05:23So we've been spending our days and nights just for that goal
05:26We've kind of raised the bar for ourselves
05:28We've set an expectation level
05:29We're on track
05:30But there's still a lot of work to do
05:32The whole team has only one obsession
05:34Making sure we polish, polish, polish
05:37To get the best game possible out there
05:56You can't put that guy
05:57Whatever we need
