00:00And we got a big day for you, Houston. We got a big day. I know, uh, I am not,
00:03I'm not going to
00:04forget last year. Was that last year, Tyler? We did the, uh, the, the drives bet for the,
00:08for the people. Yeah, definitely last year. I think even maybe the last two years we did.
00:12Well, we're going to give it back. We're going to give it back to the people. And, and, uh,
00:16look, I don't have to watch Ron or Rob, whichever one shows up. I don't, I don't have to watch
00:20him
00:20squirming his seat over there about possibly having to bet a little bit of his own money
00:23for the people. So, because Luke is in today. So I think Tyler and I hadn't even cleared this
00:27with Tyler yet. I think Tyler and I are going to take the brunt of this one in the four
00:31o'clock
00:31hour, not the four o'clock hour in the four o'clock segment, dirty's daily. Today's dirty's daily will
00:37actually be a 14 parlay in the tournament, which if you've, if you've been under a rock and you're
00:43not, you ain't real sure what's going on, maybe you just been working real hard to spend time with
00:47your family. The, uh, March madness is here. The tournament has started and, uh, boy, there's
00:53been some big games. There's been a couple of upsets. There's been a couple of tight games.
00:56We're going to run you down the list of what's all going on day one and a half, if you
01:00will
01:01in the tournament, we're going to get there. But before we do that, that, that, uh, that
01:05four game parlay is a little a hundred dollar bet. I think I'm gonna put 50 up till you
01:10gonna put 50 up. Yeah, I'm with you. We're right. I knew I could talk him into it. All
01:14right. We're going to put a hundred dollars up two thirds of the drive. So I don't want
01:17Ron can't get no credit for this y'all. He can't get no credit for it. He ain't put no
01:20money
01:20up and he ain't making no bets. All right. We're going to put a 14 parlay. We're going
01:24to tell you what that parlay is at four o'clock. A little hundred dollar bet's going to win
01:27us. I believe eleven, twelve hundred dollars, somewhere around there. And if we win, if
01:31we hit that thing, we're going to pick a little, uh, a bar, uh, bar restaurant area right here
01:38around, around, around the, uh, city of Houston. And, uh, we'll, we'll meet, give everybody
01:43a time and we'll meet down there and we'll have, we'll have a few rounds for everybody that
01:46shows up, uh, on the, uh, party party. There you go. On dirty's daily parlay, if you will,
01:53the drives parlay during March madness. We'll do that four o'clock, four o'clock segment.
01:59We will let you know exactly who you need to be rooting for. Luke Morrow is in for Rob
02:05Ugly and, uh, Luke man, how you doing, Bob? Everything good? Yeah, it's good. It's a Friday.
02:09We got March madness going on. I can't beat it. So happy to be here once again with you and
02:13watch some of these games while we talk sports. Absolutely. Can't wait. Look, I also want
02:18to, uh, I want to give a quick shout out, man. Quick shout out to, uh, Odyssey brass,
02:23man. The Odyssey brass, the, the higher ups, man. They, uh, they, they did me and the wife
02:29a solid last night, boys. I took, uh, I took my little girls to their first concert, big
02:34Laney Wilson fans ever since they could talk. We've been, uh, we've been listening to Laney
02:38Wilson on the way to school. Uh, started with my, my four-year-old and her first
02:43singing was Laney Wilson. And then Laney is actually named after Laney Wilson. And I
02:47say after, like, I know Laney Wilson, but just that name stuck to me. I love Laney
02:51Wilson. I respect her story, love her, love her, her vibe. And so we named my second
02:57daughter Laney and, uh, they both sing Laney Wilson and we went to see her, see her
03:01show last night. Pretty cool. Slight problem is that the girls, their bedtime, which they
03:05have maybe been up beyond their bedtime two or three times in their life. Their bedtime's
03:10eight o'clock Laney went on about nine. All right. So, but no, no, it was, it was good.
03:16White, my wife, this is one of those moments where you, you're really thankful. You got
03:20a wife that stays disciplined and sticks to her guns. And cause you know, you, you get
03:24babies off their sleep schedule or something leading into something like that. It can be
03:27a nightmare. I mean, they're crying, they're rubbing eyes, they're pulling hair by the time
03:32it's seven o'clock. You know what I mean? Yeah. They were right. They were rock stars. They
03:36were right. One, one crying incident. My four year old slipped while she was dancing
03:40and hit her elbow on the arm of a, on the arm of a chair and it hit her funny
03:43bone
03:43because she didn't hit it hard enough to hurt it. But she ain't, you know, that
03:46funny bone, she went to zapping her, but, but anyway, literally busted a move. I
03:50mean, she was getting it now. She was saying and boy, certain songs come on, man. They
03:53were, they were getting it, man. It was, it was a good time. So my wife and I and my
03:58kids, obviously we got to make a core memory with our family. Big thanks to the
04:03Odyssey brass, man. We, we, we were in the suite. Uh, we have front row seats. Uh, not
04:08only that, but, but our sales manager, Kristen, she is absolutely, her and her
04:12husband, uh, were absolute great hosts and, and they're just great people in
04:16general. I mean, you can tell when you're around people, first time I'd met her
04:19husband, I mean, they were just, she's as sweet as she can be. And it's genuine and
04:22sincere. He's salt of the earth dude. And, and, um, so the whole experience man was,
04:27was absolutely tremendous. And, um, man, I, I just got to give a shout out to the
04:32brass for making that thing happen. It was bigger than just a concert ticket for
04:35me. It was a, it was a memory for my family that I hope my little girls will
04:38remember forever. Did they fall asleep on the way home or are they still like
04:41amped up? Hey, they, they were, they, the little one lasted about 10 minutes into
04:45the drive home, which is longer than I thought she was going to laugh. I thought
04:47she was going to fall asleep on my, you know, on my shoulder. And then the, the, the
04:50four-year-old made it about halfway home and then both of them, they both, both of them
04:53transferred into their bed. Perfect. My four-year-old slept overnight, Tyler, for the
04:58second time in three nights. You know how big that is? Bro, you know how big that is for
05:01daddy's sleep? I mean, that's it. I don't know if you ever laid in the bed with a
05:05three or four-year-old, but they were the kickingest little sons of guns you ever
05:07been around. Boy, I'm talking about, I mean, boy, I mean, I've got super physical
05:12with my four-year-old multiple times for kicking me. I mean, to where my, my, my
05:15wife gets mad at me. I'm like, babe, she's kicking me. I'm trying to sleep. It's
05:19been going on all night, man. I'd reach over there and she's got a pillow between
05:21her and the baby. I'm like, well, no wonder she's coming this way. Cause you ain't,
05:25you done blocked her off. But yeah, they both transitioned. Perfect. Slept in. It was
05:29great, man. Great. Couldn't, couldn't ask for a better experience and, and, uh,
05:33Odyssey, uh, Houston sports radio, 16 higher ups had everything to do with that. I
05:38greatly appreciate it. All right. The NCAA tournament is going on. Ladies and
05:41gentlemen, the NCAA tournament is going on. And I told you, man, there's been one big
05:45upset. I'll tell you who that is. There's been some tight ball games. There's been
05:48some impressive wins. Uh, but as we were prepping for this show today, we were on
05:54the verge of another upset. And I'm going to tell you, man, I thought, I thought
06:02St. Mary's had Kentucky. Is that St. Mary's or Santa Clara? Uh, I was saying
06:07Santa Clara. I'm looking at St. Mary's down here. That's who, that's who, that's
06:10who felt that prune and white. I thought Santa Clara. I thought Santa Clara had
06:15them boys. I thought Santa Clara had them. In fact, I got, this is, this is, this is what
06:19March Madness is all about. This is what March Madness is all about y'all. There's
06:23down to the wire. I believe there's, I don't know, uh, when, when, when it's tie
06:27ball game, Santa Clara got the ball. I believe there was about eight or nine
06:31seconds left and they come down. And this is what the last 10 seconds of the
06:35ball game sounded like.
06:36This is Santa Clara. This is Gavin Lugov. Raves. Elevates. Oh! Buries it!
06:462.4 away! Oh! He's got it!
06:532.4 away!
06:54O.T. the O.A. has just etched his name in the March Madness war!
07:03That is what makes March Madness what it is. That's what makes March Madness so sexy. You
07:10take a guy like me, casual catch an Arkansas game every now and then, casually catch a U of
07:15H game every now and then. If my wife's Longhorns are playing and she's got it on for some reason,
07:20I may stop and watch it a little bit. But I'm going to tell you, man, I got very, I
07:24got little
07:25to no interest throughout the year. We got so much crap going on, man, and with work and
07:29kids and everything. I ain't got, but when March Madness hits and you get those kinds of
07:34moments in one of a million games that are played over the next, next couple of weeks, I
07:38mean, that is what it's all about. That sound right there gets you good and amped up, whether
07:43you're a Santa Clara fan or a Kentucky fan. But if you couldn't tell what happened, tie
07:48ball game, Santa Clara comes down, knocks down a three with just under three seconds left.
07:53Looks like it's all over. It's all over but the crime for Kentucky. And they go down and
07:57hit a three-pointer, which is really a couple of steps past half court. Banks it in to go to
08:04overtime. And then in overtime, obviously Kentucky goes on to win it. But Otega Oway was special
08:11down the stretch right there, Luke. But that was the most recent scare. I call that one
08:16right there a scare. But let's get to the biggest game, I think, of the tournament so
08:20far. The biggest upset in the tournament so far, if you will, is High Point, who I know
08:29now are the Panthers. 12 seed, they upset 5 seed Wisconsin, which by the way is going
08:36to hit my bracket a shot or two right there. High Point, 12 seed, beats Wisconsin 5 seed,
08:4383-82. So that's the game of the first round so far, or the biggest upset obviously. But
08:50that means my Hawks catch High Point in the second round. So I'm here for it, Luke. But that
08:54game right there was obviously one that shook up some brackets.
08:56Yeah, for sure. Yeah. I mean, I had Wisconsin in my sweet 16, so that stinks to lose them
09:00on the first day. But I don't know. Did you guys see the High Point head coach, the post
09:04game interview on the court? It was wild. It was great. And then he went into the post
09:09game press conference and continued to kind of shove it in everyone's face that always
09:13puts down these mid-majors and they don't belong. Because High Point actually had the lowest
09:18strength of schedule of any tournament team outside of the 16 seeds. And so a lot of people
09:23obviously, they'll turn their nose up at High Point. You know, what are they doing in the
09:26tournament? And then they go out there and they won yesterday. So I'm all for it. I love
09:29rooting for these mid-majors. I talked about it yesterday while you were out, Clint, but
09:33I love to see Miami, Ohio get the win in the play-in round two nights ago after everyone
09:38was saying they didn't even deserve to be in the tournament. High Point gets that win
09:41yesterday. So good for these smaller programs, you know, sticking it to these bigger programs
09:46and getting that win for High Point yesterday. I think their first win in program history
09:49in the tournament. But they're also fun to watch. I mean, they've been in the tournament
09:52three straight years. They have one of the more interesting offenses in the country.
09:56They don't turn the ball over. They make a lot of threes. They're highly efficient. Might
09:59not look that way against an SEC team tomorrow. We'll see. But, you know, they're a fun team
10:03to watch. They've been a good program in recent years. And I'm glad that they got that win
10:07and the head coach got to have his moment in the sun afterwards yelling at everyone telling
10:11you like, yeah, we belong. We should have been here. We just proved it to you guys.
