It’s laundry day, so Amberlynn dumps her pillowcase of clothing into the washer. She heard about La Crow and decided to try some. We’re approaching Christmas Eve, perfect time for a trip to Ruby Tuesday’s. They go to Beck’s sister’s house and Beck films some Christmas baking. The two decided to go for a burger for Christmas lunch. Eric and Rickie filmed a video called the fruit cake challenge, where they tried it on film. Amberlynn and Beck also filmed one since the cake was in the house. The two spend the holidays with Beck’s family. Amberlynn supplied the funds for Rickie and Eric to cook a Christmas dinner for the four roomies. Amberlynn spent a lot of money on gifts for Eric and Rickie so of course there is a gift opening molment. Amberlynn is preparing for a healthy new year and shows us some things she picked up to help with her journey, including a Fitbit. The holidays aren’t over yet so Amberlynn and Beck go to Red Lobster for Amberlynn’s birthday dinner, followed by a huge brownie from Eric and Rickie. They planned a game night for Amberlynn’s birthday, when Destiny and Dana were available. Beck’s mom gave Amberlynn a gift card for Little Caesars, a pizza place, but since it didn’t cover the cost of 12 pizzas, Amberlynn decides to take everyone out for dinner instead. Destiny works for the free meal by setting up the cat tree for Amberlynn.

00:50:01the first thing is probably the lamest thing I got
00:50:03but there's 300 double zipper sandwich bags
00:50:06the reason why I got these is because I'm very inspired by this
00:50:09Instagram weight loss girl
00:50:10who has lost
00:50:11I think it's like over 200 pounds
00:50:13just naturally
00:50:14a big tip that she says to do is
00:50:16fruits such as strawberries or grapes or carrots
00:50:19do your serving sizes and put them in baggies
00:50:22when you feel hungry or you're on the go
00:50:24you can just grab the bag and go
00:50:25and you already know automatically
00:50:27like you have your serving ready
00:50:28which has to do with these sticky notes
00:50:30I kind of came up with this idea
00:50:31I'm going to put a sticky note on each bag
00:50:33to write down when I cleaned off the fruit or vegetables
00:50:36when I cut them up etc
00:50:38put them in the baggies
00:50:39because I'm very weird with like old food
00:50:40so I want to know the date when I did it
00:50:42I'm also going to put the serving size
00:50:43and how many calories
00:50:44I think that's also going to help Becky too
00:50:46because she's very new to the whole calorie counting world
00:50:49I really want to help her
00:50:51don't even ask about Destiny
00:50:52Destiny is the pickiest person I've ever met
00:50:54when it comes to food
00:50:55I have never in my life met someone as picky as her
00:50:57and I'm talking ever
00:50:58like oh my god
00:50:59she don't eat anything
00:51:00she won't go for the foods I make
00:51:02nope
00:51:02she won't even try them
00:51:03I never eat any of her food
00:51:07it's like soups
00:51:12they were gross
00:51:13for the foods her mom makes
00:51:14she rarely even eats those
00:51:15and she doesn't really cook herself
00:51:17she's just in a bad spot right now
00:51:18and I'm trying to tell her like
00:51:19Destiny
00:51:20when we go to the store
00:51:21get foods that you can cook
00:51:22or that I can even cook for you
00:51:24and then she's so set on how her life used to be
00:51:27like when she was in high school
00:51:28and like middle school
00:51:29where she can't really get out of that
00:51:30like she'd eat a lot of SpaghettiOs then
00:51:32things like that
00:51:33and like she was always really skinny
00:51:35and like I finally caught up with her
00:51:36and because she took birth control
00:51:38like the mixture of those two
00:51:39like the birth control she took
00:51:40oh my god
00:51:41I made her gain weight
00:51:42and like whatever
00:51:43so now she's
00:51:44she never had to worry about her weight
00:51:46and it's like now that she does
00:51:47she doesn't know what to do
00:51:49she doesn't know where to start
00:51:49she doesn't like healthy
00:51:50the only thing healthy she likes
00:51:52is cucumbers and carrots
00:51:53and that's it
00:51:54and she can't live off of cucumbers and carrots
00:51:56I'm not saying I'm healthy either
00:51:58don't give me that
00:51:58she's actually a pretty decent eater
00:52:01a lot of the time I'm showing something
00:52:03that she's like eating
00:52:03that's like kind of not healthy
00:52:05but for the most part
00:52:06she does eat like a lot of fruits and vegetables
00:52:08but I don't just sit there
00:52:10and show you guys that
00:52:11because I feel like I don't need to
00:52:12she's not used to like
00:52:13oh I'm gonna go count calories
00:52:15and lose weight
00:52:15and this and that
00:52:16she's always just been a regular girl
00:52:18who was pretty thin
00:52:20until birth control came into her life
00:52:22she's never been a healthy eater though
00:52:24I will say that
00:52:24but I feel like it's only gotten a little worse
00:52:26since she's been with me
00:52:28and I feel horrible about it
00:52:29I don't want to go into anymore with that
00:52:31I just feel freaking horrible
00:52:33I just I want her to lose weight
00:52:35more than I want myself to lose weight
00:52:36because I care about her and love her
00:52:38more than I love myself
00:52:39when I see her eat something that's bad for her
00:52:42it breaks my heart
00:52:44because she doesn't understand nutrition like I do
00:52:47when it comes to counting calories
00:52:48that's really important to me
00:52:49I want to make it easy for her
00:52:51and also want to make it easy for me
00:52:52because easiness will help you with success
00:52:54so another thing I got in case I want to meal prep
00:52:57I am very weird when it comes to like plastic containers
00:53:00so I got this whole thing of glass containers
00:53:03so if I want a meal prep
00:53:04or I want to make a meal for later on
00:53:06okay that is meal peppering
00:53:08or if I make too much of something
00:53:10and I don't have enough calories
00:53:12or I you know I'm full etc etc
00:53:14and I want to save it for later
00:53:15what I'm going to do is obviously measure everything
00:53:17put it in the containers
00:53:19and again with the sticky notes write the date
00:53:21how many calories what it is etc
00:53:23I got a meat thermometer because I don't have one
00:53:25I want to start making more chickens
00:53:26I want to do salmons tilapias and ground turkey
00:53:29I feel like those are going to be very big staples
00:53:31when it comes to the meat that I eat
00:53:32because it's all lean
00:53:33I will say salmon does have a lot of fat in it
00:53:36higher than chicken obviously
00:53:37and higher than tilapia
00:53:38but salmon is good for you
00:53:40it's not something I'm going to be eating on the daily
00:53:41I do like my meat cooked all the way
00:53:43and meat thermometers will tell you
00:53:44if that meat's cooked all the way
00:53:45you know I'm saying
00:53:46I am always checking the temperature
00:53:48on what I cook
00:53:49even when I don't have to
