00:01Ramadan during wartime.
00:04In Tawila refugee camp in North Darfur,
00:07this situation is reality for the hundreds of thousands of Sudanese refugees living here.
00:13But celebrating during war is not easy.
00:19I feel sad during Eid, very sad, because we have lost people dear to us.
00:25We have lost neighbors, family, everything.
00:33For many of the refugees here,
00:35the horrors they have witnessed in the battles between the RSF militia and the Sudanese army are too hard to
00:41forget.
00:44How can we celebrate Eid when our country is devastated?
00:49How can we experience the Eid atmosphere when our hearts are heavy with sorrow?
00:53We are deeply saddened because we have lost so many people.
00:57May God grant us patience.
01:01The lack of food and humanitarian aid in the camp is making life during the celebrations even harder.
01:09Among the most concerned are women.
01:14We call on humanitarian organizations to support the people here,
01:18to provide shelter and essential supplies,
01:21to care for our children and meet their needs.
01:24We also ask them to recognize that women face particular challenges
01:29and that we urgently need services tailored to us.
01:33Despite the hardship, the community shares the little they have and tries to remain united,
01:38as is the spirit of Ramadan.
01:41The most contained in the country are worth everything that is done.
01:41We made a lot of decisions made as upon the students.
01:44If you ask them for any questions,
