Una nuova videoguida che spiega vari aspetti di Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Trascrizione
00:01In the coming days, the Earth will be no more.
00:05On December 4th, humanity will come face to face with its greatest trial yet.
00:10To survive, when Xenoblade Chronicles X hits store shelves.
00:15In the remaining days, we must prepare for our journey across the stars.
00:20And through the uncharted wilds of planet Mira, our new home.
00:30To keep you informed and vigilant, the builders of the Legacy after the destruction of Earth, also known as Blade,
00:36have assembled this five-part video series to ready you for your perilous mission.
00:41A grand destiny awaits.
00:48Our scientists predict that humanity will soon find itself on an uncharted planet.
00:53It is imperative that we learn everything we can about Mira and its inhabitants,
00:57so that we can more effectively interact with them, and occasionally, destroy them.
01:03Today, we will discuss arms manufacturing.
01:06But first, we must isolate an effective method for resource acquisition.
01:10Luckily, our top Blade researchers have created a unique system to aid in this task.
01:16With Frontiernav, Blade members can explore the vast continents of Mira
01:20and use strategically placed probes to map out the entire planet,
01:23earn funds, and mine for valuable materials such as meranium.
01:27Let's take a closer look at Frontiernav's interface.
01:31On the touchscreen, you can scroll the map and view different areas by tapping on the screen and swiping.
01:36On the left-hand side of the screen, an icon on the top is used to select maps.
01:41There's one of the world, the individual continents, and new Los Angeles.
01:45You can zoom in or out, or focus the map on your current location.
01:49On the bottom of the screen, you can check the survey rate, the percentage of the planet you have explored.
01:54On the right-hand side of the screen, you can also toggle display modes by selecting the icon on the
02:00top.
02:00We will review the rest of the icons in the final survival guide,
02:04when we discuss communication between fellow Blade members.
02:06For now, let's examine the advantages provided by the three map modes.
02:11This information may be too extensive for some Blade members, but those individuals will probably die penniless.
02:21To fully comprehend Frontiernav, you must first understand the three map modes.
02:26The first is Segment View.
02:28In this view, Mira is mapped out in hexagonal segments.
02:31Each segment contains information about that particular area of the world.
02:36As refugees, this information is not immediately available to us.
02:40To reveal it, you must find the corresponding Frontiernav site through field exploration.
02:45You can find the FN sites by looking for a red laser beam protruding from the ground.
02:50Here, you'll install an FN probe.
02:52Once installed, the segments surrounding the FN site will activate, and their information will be revealed.
02:58Activated segments will display different types of icons and colors to indicate their mission type
03:03and the danger level of nearby enemies.
03:06Once an FN site is activated, you can also fast travel to its location.
03:11There are multiple icons that represent a mission that is available to the segment,
03:15such as Tyrant Extermination, Treasure Box, Normal Mission, and Infinity Mission.
03:20Even though you may have an icon displayed in a particular segment,
03:24you may not have the information to resolve that mission.
03:27In order to obtain it, you must speak with the residents of New Los Angeles.
03:31NLA locals have plenty to say, so make sure to engage in multiple conversations.
03:36When you receive additional information, the segment will be marked with a new icon.
03:41Touch it to read the information, and a checkmark will appear to indicate that you have read the new info.
03:46If you complete the mission, a gold shield will appear.
03:51As you perform various activities, like data probe installation and complete missions,
03:56your survey rate will increase.
04:01The second map mode is called Frontier Nav View.
04:04To access it, touch the green map icon on the top right.
04:08This mode allows Blade members to view information related to data probes and change the probe type.
04:13There are many types of probes, each with their own unique abilities.
04:17Mining probes have a higher production capability.
04:20Placing one at a given location increases the amount of meranium you can gain there.
04:24Research probes generate tourism revenue based on the number of secret or scenic spots that may have been discovered in
04:30the area.
04:31Battle probes give Blade members various stat boosts during battles in a given segment.
04:35Storage probes increase the maximum storage of meranium.
04:39Booster probes enhances the primary functions of probes in adjacent segments.
04:44And duplicator probes duplicate the function of a probe in neighboring segments.
04:48The more high-performance data probes of the same type you install in neighboring segments, the more efficient Frontier Nav
04:54will be.
04:55For instance, connecting three probes together will boost effects of each link's data probe by 30%.
05:01To better strategize, you can switch a probe's type at any time by touching on its icon and selecting the
05:06desired type.
05:07You can change probes as many times as you want.
05:10However, you must pay a small fee to install a high-performance probe.
05:14More money, more probes.
05:20Are you still with us?
05:22Good.
05:22You're of above-average intellect, which means you may have a chance to survive.
05:28Now, before we move on to the final map type, we'll examine each Frontier Nav site's graded potential.
05:34Each aspect of an FN site has a grade that factors into its productivity when placing a corresponding type of
05:41probe.
05:41F is the lowest grade, while S is the highest.
05:45Production power refers to how much meranium can be mined from the site.
05:49Revenue power indicates how much revenue the segment can generate.
05:53Combat support shows how effective a battle probe will be in the site.
05:56In addition, the number of scenic vistas and unexplored regions is also displayed, along with the mineable resources available at
06:04a site.
06:04It is very important to read the FN site info, so you can place a probe type that will yield
06:10a site's highest potential grade.
06:11By following these instructions, you can greatly increase your revenue and your chances of affording a scale before your likely
06:20demise.
06:25Finally, the third map mode is called Map View, and it is very simple.
06:29Use this mode to view the names of areas and the locations of rest spots.
06:34Map View is best used when looking for a particular area.
06:37If Map View is too difficult for you, consider staying on Earth to witness its destruction.
06:46Blade members are not only military personnel, but also ambassadors of the human race.
06:52As we explore our new world, it is important that we forge alliances with other species we encounter.
06:57These alliances may help us rise to prominence once again in weapons development.
07:02Arms manufacturers are companies that develop gear for blade members and scales.
07:06When visiting Armory Alley, you will have access to AM Terminal, where you can invest in companies to strengthen the
07:13gear they produce, and more.
07:15When a company's level increases, new products will arrive in store.
07:19You can invest using Meranium or redeem commercial points, which are earned by defeating enemies using a company's product.
07:25There are three more options you can access at the Arms Manufacturer Terminal.
07:30The first option, Upgrade Battle Traits, lets you strengthen additional effects of your gear or your scales gear.
07:36Each upgrade will require different types of material to upgrade, but it's more than worth it.
07:41The second option is Engineer Augments.
07:44When venturing out in the new world and obtaining gear, be sure to check its details.
07:49It may have an open Augments slot.
07:51Augments are devices that can add additional abilities to your gear.
07:55However, to create an Augment, you will need specific required materials, rare resources, and Meranium.
08:01Some items will be labeled with question marks to indicate that you have not yet found that required material.
08:07The final option is called Develop New Gear.
08:10This allows you to craft special pieces of gear, scales, and pieces of equipment that require rare materials, but are
08:16extremely powerful.
08:18You may even be able to create devastating weapons, such as the Hexad Partican, Deus Crusher, and more.
08:26Earth's destruction is almost imminent.
08:28Be sure to check out our final video, where we will discuss how to work with other Blade members, joining
08:34squads, and taking down ultra-powerful beings called Nemesis.
08:38Until then, share this guide with your friends, family, and anyone else who deserves a chance to survive.
08:58Thank you.
