00:17I'm joined by DB Sinclair, what's up, man?

00:21So right there, at the beginning of my tree DB
00:24I decided to pick the comeback right there
00:25Why don't you break down some of the abilities
00:27and talents of
00:30Indeed, so you're starting with the comeback, it's on the right hand side of the tree, enemies hit by the
00:35Dragon Splash deal reduced damage for a short period of time, so not only are you going to be helping
00:40your team deal damage, as you can see there, he is a fully melee character, you're also going to help
00:46the team not take as much damage as well, so you're going to be helping on both sides of the
00:53fence, and you see the melee attacks coming out here against Oscar Mike, here comes a big smash, and for
00:59the kill!
00:59TP, how about the count, 1, 2, 3, you're out, he's out, nicely done, so you see these big mech
01:08arms here, and it's a funny story how we got this, this guy here, he was the talk of the
01:15town, he was the El Champion of the Wrestling League in the LLC, and that dirty son of a gun
01:22Isaac thought it would be funny to join up, troll the league, and take the championship, while doing that he
01:29ripped off
01:29this poor guy's arms, and the only thing they could do, in response to that, to make things better, was
01:35to give him these beefy, robotic arms, you're using them now, against Isaac, it's the rematch of the century, TP,
01:42a flail on the body slam there though, but you are coming back in, you do have the clothesline there,
01:48which I absolutely love, I'm going to go slap him real quick, great abilities, oh he's got the shield up,
01:52he's got the shield up, got the flank, the rematch here, and the kill, so some good payback,
01:57playing into the lore there, I got Scott, as mentioned before, this is a capture mode, here on the map,
02:05outback, this is just one of the many objective modes that will be in the game, and as we've shown
02:10off so far, you can play Battleborn by yourself, you can play Battleborn cooperatively, cooperatively in the story campaign, but
02:18you can also play multiplayer, and we do have that multiplayer match kicking off here,
02:23Scott is playing Miko again, keeping them in the fight, and keeping them in well, as they fight over this
02:30point here, the game, not so close this time, as we see a 139, 140 now, to 80, 90, is
02:38the score, and it's pretty good so far for your team.
02:42So we're going to pull out for a moment, DB, while it's safe, grab some shards over here, and grab
02:47some abilities, I decided to go down the left side of the tree, whoa, what is going on here?
02:51I decided to go down the left side of the tree, right there, yeah, so you went with splash damage,
02:56so the dragon splash, this is going to leave behind the electrical field that deals damage over time to the
03:01nearby enemy, so not only are you going to slam down that can of whoop-ass on the team, you're
03:07also going to add extra damage as well, followed up by that, you went with deafening applause, ultimate flop attack
03:14is accompanied by a powerful shockwave, dealing area of effect damage, so true melee damage dealer here,
03:20but also helping his team out as well in the process.
03:24So I've never seen those Varelsi scalp before, apparently I'm too low level to take them out right now, I'm
03:28going to wait and go back and get them later.
03:30But yeah, that clap is on L2 like you were saying, DB, and now it gives me a little bit
03:34of range potential, because L2, this melee-based character, gave me a little bit more reach, and let's enter the
03:39battlefield stop.
03:40So you do have the clothesline to close the gap, which is going to be very helpful as a melee
03:46character, you can also upgrade that later on to make it so that you increase speed as you clothesline enemies.
03:53A big fight here right now over the B point, the middle point here, we got a raft in there,
03:59and here comes the big slam down, and what's going to happen?
04:03Are you going to take these guys out, or?
04:05Let's see if we can land a clothesline here, this is the first time I've ever played this character, somehow
04:10managed to convince Scott to play Miko, it's his favorite character.
04:13I love it, I love it though, it does take some skill to land the clothesline and land these body
04:18slams on enemies that are moving around.
04:20Here comes one over Reyna there, some punches to the face, and a level up with a kill.
04:25Oh, there's Isaac right there, trying to take some revenge, I'm going to back up for a moment, wait for
04:30Scott, who I forced to play Miko again.
04:32Hop in, and try to heal me up.
04:35And we're going to go back in on Reyna, who's pretty low health.
04:38This character's really fast, I'm not actually used to playing characters this fast, EB.
04:42Oh, found Isaac again.
04:43Another fight with Isaac, you do have a bit of a shield building up, as Isaac uses his shield as
04:47well, countering that with some melee.
04:50Here comes the splash attack, but it doesn't hit.
04:53You could use that clothesline to get in within range, and then pop that, it might be a good one
04:58-two punch combo.
05:00Shields for days though, Isaac does not want to lose this rematch.
05:04And going in, that body slam actually didn't connect like that.
05:07There you go, nicely done.
05:08A couple of face palms, literal face palms.
05:10Now we just got our ultimate DB, can you break that down for the people?
05:13Yeah, let's see it real quick here, on the team.
05:16Well, I'm just going to go ahead and set myself on fire here.
05:18Yeah, so this ultimate is going to allow you to throw punches on the team without a cooldown on that.
05:25So you can just punch for days, smash through the team, and finish off any weak enemies in the area.
05:32So we're going to go ahead and grab some shards over here at DBO.
05:34It looks like we have an enemy on our flank.
05:36Go for a couple claps at range here.
05:38Clap, clap.
05:38And then go in for some close quarters action.
05:41He is a melee character after all, so you do want to run in and get those melee shots.
05:46But again, closing that gap between yourself and the enemy player is very crucial to getting the attacks on the
05:55enemy and doing the most damage possible.
05:57Here comes a Calderius, and this is going to be a good fight here.
06:00Calderius with some good movement, but he does get caught in the slam.
06:03And the follow-up close line.
06:06Nikki's starting to get the hang of this character down.
06:09Oh yeah, we're going to pick up another ability here, DB.
06:11Going down the right side of the tree here.
06:13I've been neglecting taking those abilities right there.
06:15Flailing Fist, deactivating close line mid-sprint, stops the dash, and executes a ground slam.
06:23So a lot of those attacks where you were running through and potentially running too far through, now you can
06:28stop that attack and you'll go right into a slam.
06:31This is going to be a great possibility for combos coming up.
06:34Yeah, I'm really going to go down the right side here on the tree.
06:36Like you were saying, DB, I was having trouble landing those close lines earlier.
06:39So I decided to pick this up in order to give myself a little bit more control over my character
06:44and where you're trying to use the slam here.
06:46So you went Welterweight, which is each undisputed champion stack also boosts movement speed.
06:54So you're going to get a movement speed increase as well.
06:56And then the Neckbreaker increases the close line's damage.
07:00So you're really powering up these core abilities here as you go from slam to close line and back again.
07:08My team's got great control of the map right now.
07:11All three points belong to us.
07:13There's Isaac once again.
07:14Rushing a dip around the corner right here.
07:15Activate our ultimate.
07:16Make him think he can come in.
07:18But that's not the case.
07:19I'm going to have super fast punches right now.
07:21He did just move behind me.
07:23I'm going for a body.
07:25Get in.
07:26Stuck in the corner.
07:27Isaac is getting flailed on right now.
07:29And this is making use.
07:31Oh, I'm 3-0 right now, DB, against my arch nemesis Isaac.
07:36I love it.
07:36I love to see it.
07:37There's a lot of lore in this game.
07:39There's also a lot of loot and gear as well.
07:41There's also things that you can build in the environment in both the cooperative single player and multiplayer modes.
07:49Right now, going through the close line.
07:51Ran too far through right there.
07:52And it does good damage though now that you have the damage boost.
07:56All right.
07:57We do have a Mirena right here around the corner.
07:59I did just spend my shard to unlock more of my gearbox CB.
08:02And I think it's important to note from people at home that pass it.
08:04Oh, whoa.
08:05That's Oscar Mike Airstrike right there.
08:07Let's get out of that.
08:08But every time I get a kill, I get a stack.
08:10And those stacks increase my movement speed.
08:12So I can get away just like I am right now.
08:14And you're moving pretty well.
08:15You also have that close line which you can use as both an attack and as a traversal.
08:20There it is.
08:21Knocking him around.
08:23Hopefully Scott gets here.
08:25To back me up.
08:25I'm just going to pop the ultimate.
08:27Get it.
08:28Going in for those drop kicks right there, DB.
08:31That's another ability that we have on.
08:33Here it is.
08:34The fourth matchup with Isaac.
08:37Back out of the fight for just a moment.
08:39And then come charging in.
08:40That's a kill on Caldarius right there.
08:42And got Mirena as well with a clutch save.
08:45If you have a logistics here.
08:46I'm super low health.
08:47I'm going to back out for a moment.
08:48I do see Isaac on the minimap chasing me.
08:50But he is pretty slow.
08:52And I have quite a few stacks on right now.
08:54Great fight so far.
08:56And really showing off how you can pick up this character.
09:00And learn how to play it pretty quickly here.
09:03Especially with the different choices.
09:05There are a lot of different choices once you start going down that tree.
09:07Here's a nice slam.
09:09Wrath though in good shape though.
09:10As he's spinning with his blades.
09:12He's going to be a tough one to take down.
09:14Except now you can get in there and get him.
09:16Yeah we do have over here.
09:17Oh the rematch.
09:18And I just dropped it right there.
09:20He's got the top guy.
09:21I'm going to come back for him.
09:22Oh that was your wrath.
09:23That was our wrath.
09:25Yeah but Isaac took the kill right there on me.
09:28I was trying to go in and help the wrath.
09:30But I was too low health unfortunately.
09:32Let's see on the respawn if we can meet back up with Scott.
09:35And go in and team up on that Isaac.

09:44And here he comes back in.
09:46He's going to go with his.
09:47Ability here on the right hand side.
09:49Another one spent on the right hand side.
09:52And that's attitude adjustment.
09:54Enemies stuck by Drock Kick.
09:56Suffer increased damage for a short time.
09:58You also went with Big Splash.
10:00Which increases the size of the Dragon Splash.
10:02So you are really maximizing these two abilities.
10:05The Smash and the Clothesline.
10:08You're going to back out here for just a moment.
10:09And then you're charging back in.
10:11With the KO on Caledarius right there.
10:13I'm waiting for my shield to recharge.
10:15I'm pretty low.
10:15We also should probably pick up an objective.
10:17Enemies just picked up the logistics right here.
10:19So we're going to go ahead and drop kick that.
10:22And let's go see if we can take B right here in the middle of the map.
10:26B right now in control by the green team.
10:28And they are controlling the game now.
10:30They've taken the lead.
10:31It's very close.
10:32Objective gaming can swing back and forth at a moment's notice.
10:36It's like they just noticed me trying to take the objective right there.
10:38I did neutralize it.
10:39Which means they're not gaining points for it.
10:42And here we go.
10:43Rematch.
10:43Let's get him.
10:44Of the century DB.
10:46The slam does miss.
10:47Isaac dashing away from me.
10:49Well let's see if I can buy this turret.
10:52Turret must be on cooldown.
10:54Isaac is too close.
10:54Unless he bought it.

10:57It is on cooldown still.
10:58The kill on Isaac.

11:01And I'm going to go ahead and pick this up.
11:02That would give me a little bit of map control.
11:03That's one of the things you can do with the shards you earn in the game DB.
11:06Is pick up turrets.
11:07Very important.
11:08Especially when it's like high on a perch above a point.
11:11It's going to help you out quite a lot here.
11:13As the game is coming close to an end.
11:16And it's very close.
11:1860 HP.
11:1933 now.
11:20Five.
11:20And down goes.
11:21Unfortunately I tried to use the clothesline for the escape.
11:23But I think I had an enemy AOE on me.
11:25They just melted me right there.
11:28He did pick up enough of their double assist though.
11:30Yeah.
11:31And all that chaos.
11:32This is a pretty close match here DB.
11:34My team.
11:34The orange team right now.
11:36Does have control of two out of the three points.
11:38The enemy team does not have any points.
11:40There's one point that's neutralized on the map.
11:42They're going to want to try to take that if they want to bring this game back.
11:44But I don't think we're going to let them.
11:46And here you're going with cut the line.
11:49And that's going to give each target hit with clothesline.
11:52Reduces the skill.
11:54It's cooldown.
11:54So you're really just absolutely maximizing the damage potential of these two abilities.
12:00Long range coming in hot real quick.
12:03Let's finally use our ultimate right here.
12:05Going in for the slam before the finish.
12:08Now the ultimate does modify your ability a little bit.
12:11And of course your punches.
12:12So big cave hack today.
12:14Five to one against Isaac.
12:15Huge, huge payback as far as the lore is concerned.
12:19Let's see if we get a dropkick right here.
12:21I should remember to use those dropkicks.
12:22Those will weaken enemies for me.
12:24Oh, and the airstrike came in from Oscar Mike though.
12:26And I was within his range.
12:28Oscar Mike does pick up that point right there.
12:31Scott's going to come in and finish it off and win it for the team.
12:34I can feel it.
12:35I'm going to try to meet up with Scott.
12:37Scott's having trouble with Kuna right here.
12:40Trying to take down that Oscar Mike.
12:42I'm going to go help him out.
12:43Miko's not really an offensive character.
12:45So I'm going to get over there and see if I can deal the damage while Scott fills me up.
12:49And there you go.
12:50With the clothesline charge.
12:52Gets you back in the action very quickly.
12:55And here's a Calderius.
12:56Let's pick up this turret real quick.
12:58Calderius will never know.
12:59Going for the dropkick right there.
13:00That's going to temporarily weaken him.

13:03Should probably use this a little bit more liberally.

13:11And let's wrap around here and see if we can flank these guys real quick.

13:21I'm not sure what that is.
13:23I don't want to get in it.

13:55And pick up Raina right here.

13:58Oh, she does get the overshield though.
14:01Yeah, she's going to get that overshield when she throws that overshield on a teammate.

14:08And fortunately, saved by the bell right there.

14:12Almost had the kill if I would have had a couple more seconds.
