00:28This video is brought to you by the National Anthem of the National Anthem.
04:30Melissa, for giving me direction on where his final resting place should be.
04:36God bless his soul.
04:38God rest his soul.
04:39Rest in peace.
04:40Just a day to say the Lord's Prayer.
04:44Amen.
04:45Our Father, you are going to have it.
04:47I will be thy name.
04:49I will be thy name, and I will be thy name on earth as it is in heaven.
04:53Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we live to those trespasses
05:00and our trespasses as we live to those trespasses, and lead us on into temptation, but deliver us
05:04as we live to the power of the Lord.
05:08Father God, we are the rest of peace.
05:10Amen.
05:20Even though there aren't that many of us here, I know a lot of the neighbors want to be here,
05:26and George meant a lot to them as well.
05:29So, their spirit is here with us, in addition.
05:36George was our neighbor for almost 20 years, so we saw all of our kids grow up, spent a lot
05:42of time to fight us.
05:44So, as much as he'll be missed, he made it to 90, had a great life, a great life, a
05:58great
05:58life, a great life.
05:59And, like Bobby, I would say, I had more time to spend with him.
06:01He would hear his story in the military.
06:06But, the time that I did spend with him will always be with me.
06:10And, I am so happy that he's joined his wife in a beautiful location that, even though there's
06:20a sadness of loss, I think it's overshadowed by the happiness of how it's ending.
06:34I just want to say, I want to say thank you for all of you.
06:39I, George, spoke really highly of your family and the kids over the years.
06:46And, um, I know that you really meant a lot to him.
06:51And so, thank you.
06:53Thanks for arranging me today as well.
06:57I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
07:01And, like you said, you know, George has been gone for a while now, but it is nice to
07:06know that he's, you know, finally laid the rest.
07:11And, uh, it would have happened without all of you.
07:15And, really appreciate you, Bobby, for respecting his wishes.
07:20And, uh, so I just wanted to say, um, you know, on behalf of my family, thank you.
07:28And, uh, uh, I just wish you goodness and light and that your family is there.
07:37And if they're not, that there's good people around who will take care of them.
07:41And I know that just y'all being here in New Valley, you know, George loved you and you touched
07:47him so much.
07:49And, um, uh, all of you are a testament of his goodness.
07:56Um, and I didn't hear much about you, Bobby, I'm sorry, but all of you and, like, you would tell
08:06me stories, you know, lots of stories from that.
08:09And, you know, like he said, he liked the sports, he loved the baseball.
08:13And, um, he liked to, uh, to go out.
08:18You know, he had this, um, degenerative disease in his legs and it just progressively got worse.
08:26My grandpa also had it.
08:28Um, so it kind of went in the family.
08:30All the, all the men had it.
08:32Um, and, um, I think as it's gone harder for him to get out, you know, he relied on, on,
08:40on his neighbors more and more and I just wanted to say thank you.
08:48All right, I guess this concludes Mr. George's service today after the National Cemetery.
08:57I'm not going to proceed to take him to his place over mutual rest to join his spouse.
09:03He's going to be placed in Section 37 Delta, grave site number four, which I should be familiarized with.
09:10If you don't know how to get there is go down this road, take a left and then take a
09:15right.
09:15I'll be going there so you can follow me.
09:17You can watch from the road if you want to watch the placement, okay?
09:21On behalf of the Department of Air and Affairs, a grateful nation, the rest of the community,
09:25and the work that you have are coming up.
09:27So have a great afternoon.
09:29And then family and Amy's doing their best to hold your flag, so please be patient.
09:33Oh, perfect.
09:34Yeah.
09:36Yeah, they told me the flag.
09:38They don't have an issue.
09:39It's funny.
09:40He was one of the ROTC at the-
