00:00Every tribe had its responsibilities and rights.

00:09The people of Medina prayed together.
00:11Islam was now lived openly.
00:14The masjid was built.
00:16The laws of zakah and fasting were revealed.
00:20Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
00:21My beloved brothers and sisters,
00:22after a long journey through fear, darkness and uncertainty,
00:26the believers finally arrived in a city that had not rejected them but welcomed them.
00:33Medina was not just a place.
00:35It was a new beginning.
00:37A home shaped not by walls or stones,
00:41but by hearts ready to love for the sake of Allah.
00:45The Ansar opened their homes, their tables, their wealth and their hearts.
00:50The Muhajireen carried with them patience, faith and trust in Allah.
00:56Two groups, once strangers, became brothers,
01:00not by blood or tribe, but by faith.
01:04So come with me to the days when Medina began to glow with unity, compassion and prayer.
01:25When the messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, arrived in Yathrib,
01:29the city became alive.
01:30The air filled with hope and the soil of Medina received the footsteps of prophecy.
01:36The believers had left everything behind in Mecca,
01:40their homes, wealth and families.
01:43But in Medina, they found something far greater, brotherhood.
01:47The Prophet, peace be upon him, gathered the Muhajireen and the Ansar together and said,
01:54Become brothers in the way of Allah.
01:57He paired them one by one, not through blood, but through faith.
02:02Each pair stood before him, hands joined, hearts united.
02:29The hearts that were once divided by centuries of tribal wars now became one.
02:35The Quran declared,
02:49And he united the hearts.
02:51If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could never have united them, but Allah united them.
02:58Then the Prophet, peace be upon him, wrote the first constitution in history.
03:03The Sahifa of Medina, it began in the name of Allah, the most merciful, the most compassionate.
03:11This is a document from Muhammad, the messenger of Allah, between the believers from Quraysh and Yathrib.
03:17And those who follow them and strive with them, they are one community to the exclusion of all others.
03:26He declared the sanctity of life, justice and cooperation.
03:31Every tribe had its responsibilities and rights.
03:36No believer would be left helpless and no injustice would go unchallenged.
03:42The document ensured that the Jews of Medina lived in peace alongside the Muslims.
03:48The Jews shall have their religion and the Muslims shall have their religion,
03:52their allies and their own selves, except those who commit oppression or sin.
04:00He affirmed, the valley of Yathrib is sacred for its people.
04:04The neighbor shall be protected as oneself.
04:08The oppressed shall be aided.
04:11And whoever commits injustice will bear it upon himself and his family.
04:17It was a covenant of justice, mercy and coexistence.
04:20A model of governance centuries ahead of its time.
04:25Then came the call that would forever mark the Ummah, the Adhan.
04:32A companion named Abdullah ibn Zayd saw a vision in his sleep.
04:37A man carrying a bell said to him,
04:40Shall I show you something better than this?
04:44He then recited,
04:45Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar,
04:47Ash'hadu an la ilaha illallah,
04:49Ash'hadu anna muhammadan rasoolullah.
04:51When the Prophet, peace be upon him, heard of it, he said,
04:54It is a true vision by the will of Allah.
04:57Teach it to Bilal, for his voice is strong.
05:01And Bilal ascended and called with a voice that echoed across Medina.
05:06Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with them all,
05:10Ran, his eyes filled with tears, saying,
05:14By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, I saw the same vision.
05:18The Prophet, peace be upon him, smiled and said,
05:20This is revelation from Allah.
05:23The people of Medina prayed together.
05:26Islam was now lived openly.
05:29The masjid was built.
05:30The laws of zakah and fasting were revealed.
05:35And the faith became a community.
05:38The Quran described them,
05:54Those who had settled in the city and had faith before them,
06:00and migrated to them, and find no envy in their hearts for what they are given,
06:05but prefer them over themselves, even if they too are in need.
06:11Thus, the first Muslim society was born,
06:14not of conquest, but of compassion, not of blood, but of brotherhood.
06:19From that day, the world would know Medina,
06:23not just as a city, but as the heart of an ummah united under one word,
06:29لا إله إلا الله محمد الرسول الله.
06:34And so, Medina came to life, a community built on mercy, trust, and brotherhood.
06:41A place where Islam was not only believed, but lived.
06:45But soon, that peace would be tested.
06:49Not in whispers, but on the open field.
06:52In the next episode, inshallah,
06:56we walk toward the day that would separate truth from falsehood.
07:01The day of Badr.
07:03Sallallahu ala Muhammad.
