01:00The Civil War and God knows how many hurricanes
01:03But when Lincoln Clay went after the mob
01:06He inflicted more damage than all the wars
01:09And hurricanes combined
01:15Hey everyone, I'm Hayden Blackman
01:17Creative Director and Studio Head at Hangar 13
01:19And I wanted to thank you for coming out
01:21To see our Gamescom presentation
01:23Of Mafia 3
01:24An open world crime drama set in New Bordeaux
01:27la versione di New Orleans, in 1968,
01:55Today, we're going to jump straight into the middle of Lincoln's war with the mob
01:58and his attempts to build and maintain his new criminal family.
02:01We're going to start in the bayou and head for the French war.
02:04What would I give for just a few moments?
02:13What would I give just to have you near?
02:21Tell me you will try
02:24To slip away somehow
02:29Oh, I need you darling
02:32I want to see you right now
02:39In Mafia 3, we treat Nouvelle Bordeaux' as a main character.
02:42We've not only worked hard to capture a unique time and place,
02:45but also to ensure that everything the player does in the open world
02:48propels Lincoln forward in the narrative.
02:50We've also given the city its own diverse criminal ecologies,
02:54which play a huge role in Lincoln's quest to tear down the mob.
03:01Let's take a look at just a few of the varied districts in Nouvelle Bordeaux
03:05and what lurks beneath the surface and in the back alleys of the city.
03:09Our reimagined version of New Orleans is made up of ten districts,
03:12each with its own distinct flavor.
03:15We have the scenic and mysterious bayou, which is ripe for exploration.
03:28But it's also where the Italian mob and their allies run guns and produce moonshine.
03:43To the west of the city is vibrant Delray Holland,
03:45which is home to Lincoln and his surrogate family
03:48before they are betrayed by the Italian mob.
03:59Eventually, the hollow is taken over by the Dixie mob,
04:02who kick up to the Italians and use the neighborhood
04:05as the base of operations for heroin and sex rooms.
04:12To the north of the city is majestic Frisco Fields,
04:15with its manicured lawns and mansions.
04:27This is also where the Marcano family
04:29has partnered with the Race of Southern Union
04:31and Cook's PCP at the local university.
04:51and in the center of the city is bustling downtown,
04:54where historic buildings and plazas sit side by side with gleaming skyscrapers.
05:07But this is also where the mob's bookkeeper, Tony D'Arazzio,
05:11blackmails local politicians and scams the city through sham construction sites.
05:23How did you manage to get to Tony D'Arazzio?
05:27I had bugs and wiretaps all over the damn place.
05:30When that weirdo left the Royal Hotel to deal with one of his men,
05:34I was listening.
05:49Tony, I didn't know you was coming.
05:52I'm just packing away your latest shipment.
05:56How long you been running this business, Joe?
05:59I-I-I know. Five zigzils.
06:03Five years, three months, and 18 days.
06:07This is terms.
06:09Look, I-I know I've been lying, but it ain't my fault.
06:12I've always placed a premium on maintaining order.
06:16If you let the rot set in, eventually it will take hold and destroy everything you've built.
06:22The only solution is to isolate it, eradicate it before it takes hold.
06:28You understand, Joe?
06:29Christ, Tony, you gotta listen to me.
06:31Some nuts out there shooting the hell out of everything.
06:34You know how many of my men he killed?
06:36Yes.
06:50Dominic, is it?
07:00You will take the armored car and personally oversee the collection of all outstanding monies owed to us.
07:07Am I clear on this?
07:09Y-yes, Mr. Razio.
07:11Once you have collected what is due,
07:13deliver it directly to me at the hotel.
07:16The code to the elevator is 0-4-5-1.
07:28From there, Lincoln had a couple of options.
07:31He could use the elevator code and go into the lobby,
07:34which meant shooting the hell out of the place.
07:36Or he could steal Dominic's car and go in quiet to the hotel's parking garage.
07:42Killing Tony is our focus right now, as capturing downtown will strike a major blow against the Italian mob.
07:47But before we go after Tony, we'll want to resupply, and we can do this by calling in our weapons
07:52dealer.
07:52Once the mobile store arrives, we can pick out the gear that will best suit our play style.
07:56As with most of the missions in Mafia 3, Tony can be taken out in many different ways.
08:01We can go in guns blazing, we can take a stealthier approach, we can even call in reinforcements.
08:05It's really all up to the player.
08:13In this mission, we have two distinct ways to get to Tony, who is holed up in the penthouse of
08:18his hotel.
08:19We can storm the lobby or steal his bag man's car and sneak through the hotel's garage and up to
08:24the penthouse,
08:25which is the path that we'll take here.
08:26Yes, we're good. Call me if you need me.
08:38What's taking so long?
08:40I give it a month.
08:41Give what a month.
08:42Give what a month.
08:43Give what a month.
08:45Dominic.
08:45That's fucked up, man.
08:47I give him six months.
08:48At least.
08:56Be some manners, Inor.
08:58Sì, Sì, Sì!
09:36Bologna e Dominic
09:37Park anywhere
10:05I was gone for a minute, Tony wouldn't mind
10:09Mr. D'Arazio
10:11And how long have you been here?
10:13A month?
10:15Mr. D'Arazio ain't the second chance type
10:18Something's a
10:19And you might just live to see month two
10:25He's still my ticket
10:27He's still my CF

11:08About some sumbitch running all over the goddamn place
11:11Smashing our shit to pieces
11:12I wanna know what the fuck's going on
11:15Down there, you hear me
11:16It would be difficult not to
11:18What
11:19I've already taken the appropriate steps
11:21To address the situation
11:22Believe me, things are well in hand
11:25Well, they fucking better be
11:27If this thing with the judge goes sideways
11:29Shit's gonna roll downhill real fucking quick
11:32We haven't lost anything of any significance
11:33Except for some men
11:34And they can be replaced
11:38In fact
11:40They're the easiest thing to replace
11:42Some doesn't give two shits about any of those stupid fucks
11:45All he cares about is the people that manner
11:48Understand?
11:49I understand completely
11:50And you have my word
11:52That all payments will continue as scheduled

11:58Need to concern themselves
11:59With our recent difficulties
12:02Yeah?
12:03Okay

12:07Don't fuck this up
12:09Goodbye
12:22You should clear on out of here
12:26Okay, here's the thing, Congressman
12:27When Mr. Derazio made his very generous contribution

14:58Do you have any idea what you've cost me?
15:30You really think you know how all this is going to play out, don't you?
15:35Idiot!
15:37Go ahead
15:40Kill me
15:42I'll be replaced tomorrow
15:47No one will even notice
15:51If you're wrong, everyone will notice
16:10War on the streets of our fair city
16:12He is a gunman stormed the Royal Hotel, killing an untold number of men
16:16There was a loud crash like a bomb going off
16:19I looked up and there was a man falling from the top of the building
16:23Then all these men showed up and every one of them had a gun
16:26They ran into the Royal and that's when the shooting started
16:31I still don't know how the hell Lincoln got out of that hotel
16:34So you're going to go somewhere in the middle of the building
16:36That's my home
16:37I'm out there
16:42I'm out there
16:43I'm out there
